    Hi ! I’m someone who is looking into dying my hair at home mainly for fun and my hair is very similar to the person in this video, and I just wanted to ask what you used to bleach the hair and if there were any brands I should stay away from as I’m trying to experiment but not loose any of my hairs! Love the outcome!!

    You are so adorable! My favorite piece of advice was going with a lower developer and just refilling often and leaving on a little longer. I have thick and fine dark hair and I definitely think that is sound advice for my type of hair! Thank you for your video :-)

      @@hairbykristijennings6648 I was actually trying to achieve rose gold on my best friend earlier this week! Natural level 4-5 and we have been doing partial foilayage on her every 4-5 months. The pastel only took to the brightest pieces (as I expected) so I was looking for a good formula to play with for her mids! Going to try this 😘

    You don't focus on points of light. You seem to just bleach the full foil up to your back combed area. Do you not use the "v" shape bit?

    • @hairbykristijennings6648
      @hairbykristijennings6648  2 роки тому

      It just really depends on what the client wants..... if they want more blended, dimensional, chunkier pieces. That determines the application. If they want a root shadow il lighten all the way up every time, especially for someone with darker hair. They aren't necessarily wanting any type of dimension , I just need to lighten it overall to have an even canvas to tone back down.
