@@CanterburyCottage you know Sherry. If I’m doing a major project on something. I can visualize exactly what to do with it, the first few minutes after I wake up in the morning.
Every time you say, “I’m sure by this time, you’ve figured out…” I always think, “Nope, I still have no idea where you’re going with this.” You leave me pleasantly surprised every time!
I had a large trunk that I used to make a litter box. I added casters, peel and stick wallpaper on the inside and took an antique frame, installed it on one side for the entrance of the litter box. It’s great. It helps to keep the dust down.
What beautiful and creative ideas! You cease to amaze me! Never thought of the litter box idea! I’ve always wanted to make my kitty a bed using an old suitcase! I bet you could create a lovely one…hint! Hint! ♥️
Oh boy - you really hit it out of the park this time, Sherry! 😲🤩 In a nutshell, I love numbers 2, 3, 4, 8, 9, and 10. 😁😘 The wire candlestick topiary, and the cat box trunk were particularly inspired. Imo, putting solid wood on the bottom of the wine rack would've distracted from the overall lattice design. I think, of the last 3, the gravy boat is my fave, followed by the mantle clock and the tin tile wall cubby. If I had a home where I could display these, I would try to buy them all. 😯😂 Thank you so very much for your great continuing work on creating these videos. I'll see you again next week. 😊😘🤗💖👌👍👋
Every single thing was my favorite!!!! You are so amazingly talented, honestly you should be making LOTS of money for your ideas! Seriously, I am just amazed at your creative genius. Again, I loved it all!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤
I can't decide on a fave. The brass candle sconce is an unexpected surprise! Love the bread bowl makeover! And the wine rack re-do is fab! I'm glad you didn't make the bottom solid. I wonder what it would look like with some fairy lights in the bottom...? I so enjoy your videos, Sherry. Thank you!
I love birds, so the lovely gravy boat with the bird and the pansies was my favorite. And pansies remind me of my mother who always had fresh pansies in a ring-shaped bowl on the hutch in the dining room. Thanks for bringing back a special memory. ❤
Love that! I have a similar memory of my grandmother. She loved irises and grew every color in her yard. Every spring when the iris bloom, I am taken back to my childhood watching my grandma work in her garden.
@@CanterburyCottage if u want to learn how to get a genuine chippy finish, throw away the sandpaper and use cracked gesso and antiquing glaze with milk paint!
I love all the decor you made over. I wish I could really think outside the box like you do. I love watching you create such gorgeous and unique decor. Thank you for sharing.
I think you may single-handedly, be keeping Waverley Wax in business!! I love the house-shaped wine rack. I was thinking an antiqued/mercury glass mirror or diy-ed version would make a lovely base to hide the cross-shaped base and give a pretty reflection of the plant. Those William Morris transfers worked great! I could practically smell the musty trunk through the screen! 🤩🤩
Sherry, leave the X in the wine rack and put a small set of twinkle lights in the bottom. I think that would be glorious. I loved the green clock with the bird, but I would have put a mouse looking through. 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you! I almost didn’t buy that candle holder because I already have so many birds. You just never know when a thrift find will be the perfect addition to a project.
Sherri, everything looks great, but I especially liked the wine rack makeover. You are amazing with amazing with your electric saw! Thanks for sharing. 😊
These are the types of videos that I like best. The room makeovers are nice but turning thrift store items into adorable useful pieces that were destined to the landfill is my best. I wish I had just a little of her talent to see what could be. I pick up a piece, look at it...say, what would Sherry do, put it down...😢 don't have the gift! Great job Sherry! I liked them all but the easiest was my favorite, the last one.
Happy Memorial Day, Sherry! I really like the clock with the bird, the wooden bowl to hold your string, and the toothbrush holder idea! The trunk for your cat box was genius; what a special cat you have! You are so creative! ♥🌻
My favorite makeover is the wine rack! It looks like a little conservatory, and I love how you styled it. The only change I would make is to paint the unpainted wood that you can see on the inside of the base. I love your show!!!
I'd have to say it would be tie for my favorite. The gravy boat with the pansies is so sweet, but the wine rack is totally cool. Love the way you used greenery to dress them up.
The green clock that is now inhabited by a bird and greenery makes my heart sing (and is my favorite)! Your creativity and willingness to engage in whimsey is just so wonderful! I immediately went to your store, but it has been sold. I'm not surprised as it is just delightful! Your cat's litterbox with the William Morris rub on transfers is probably the most lovely litterbox in all of North America! And the bread bowl with more William Morris designs - how adorable for such a practical purpose! Thank you for the inspiration, Sherri! ❤
All of these are beautiful. Hard to decide which is my favorite but I love the house. I would leave the bottom with the x. Fairly lights would be beautiful in there.
Great flips again. Of course, the clock with the bird was my favorite, then the pansy gravy boat with the bird. 😉 Pansies were my mom's favorite. I also loved the winerack. You did it again, Sherry.
You have such remarkable vision! The way you transform everything is genius! Some people just paint something… add a transfer… not you… first take it apart. Hammer, saw pliers., power tools. Recreate… reinvent and voila a masterpiece! Loved the wine rack and all 9 others!!
#5, 8 & 10 All 3 were things I would definitely purchase, but all of your ideas in this video were fantastic! I love the way you make things look cohesive, like they were meant to be put together. Great eye, keep it up, you are on a roll!
Oh gosh! Another pick my favorite! It is soooo hard to do! So here goes - I love #3. What a unique idea! I love the bird peeking out. And, since I love cats, #4 is brilliant! And all the other projects were so clever! And I do really like the thrift store makeovers. Your ideas for items that are overlooked and/or outdated are so creative!
I liked the airiness of the wine rack with the plant in it. If I were putting a host of small pots in it, then a bottom would have been good, I am surprised, though, that there isn't a bird perching on it somewhere! I loved the pansy gravy boat arrangement! What a great update! The William Morris transfer on the trunk was great!
Sherry, you are SO creative-- I can't believe all of the amazing things you've made. My fave on this video was the house-shaped wine rack. Awesome transformation!
Loved them all as always. No need to remove the X in the wine rack. It turned out beautifully. Thanks for sharing all your creations and how you achieve them. It sparks ideas for all of us out here thrifting. 😍
How exciting to find matching pansies in your stash that matched the gravy boat! I have so many little items that I refuse to throw out - you give us a reason to be proud of our collections of odds and ends!
Favorites: 8 (yes, I think the solid base on #8 would be even better. But it's still my favorite, especially with that chunky crock as the planter!) Then #10, It would fit in anywhere! Also love #3 - so creative! Really like how you number them at the end and let us choose our favorites. Fun!
There’s no doubt about it I always fall in love with your makeovers. It’s always hard to pick favorites as there all so creative. You asked about the wine rack n if you should put a bottom on it. I say yes. That way you can change it out with different size of pots. It was my favorite too. ♥️♥️😊👍👍👍🌟 PS. I would love to have a peek at your stash. You have some amazing items in it. Thank you so much, Shelly! I do think I need to put some kind of base in the wine rack, so I can put more things in it. I will try to take a tour of my stash in a future video.
3. 5. 8. 10. Are my favorites That sweet little bird peeking through the face of the clock so whimsical, the bread basket turned twine holder. Very clever. The wine rack was my absolute favorite. Just so cute and the metal looking sconce very lovely Thanks for sharing Karen from Florida 🌴💕

Hi Sherry, #5 was my favorite as I love baskets. I would love to find that style of basket to put a rod thru and put my ribbons on it. I use lots of ribbons in different crafts. Happy Memorial Day! 🎖️🇺🇸 I have been alone the entire day I took myself to a little cafe for lunch and I went to the Variety Store to find a little white jewerly box to give a friend at work tomorrow with a piece of jewelry but they were out. I looked at all the tomatoes plants and flowers the garden shop were selling. I was hoping to have been moving into my own condo with a patio by this summer but the prices are too high even for just 2 bedrooms 1 bath. I found one with a perfect patio but, it needs a new furnace and a new washer and dryer. While I was at the cafe I rec'd the alert to this video so I hit to watch it later. Then just use wood glue to adhere them together. In your little house you can use fairy lights I think that would be cool once it becomes night time. I always love your ideas. At this moving sale I was hoping to find a picture frame that looked vintage or a vintage one but she didn't have any. Then now I just gave myself an idea I can make a frame out of paint sticks or tumbling tower blocks I have on hand. I can smell rain and it's starting to thunder in my area.
