This is my third Magnolia dupes video. I did the first two last June after visiting the Silos in Waco. Although I haven’t been back to Texas, I thought you might like a few more ideas on copying Joanna Gaines’s style for a fraction of cost. As a side note, I don’t know why I didn’t think of it sooner, but you could attach the corner braces to the underside of the semi-circle shelves pointing downward (which would still support quite a bit of weight) and they would be much less noticeable. Hope you all have a great week. I am running errands today before the snow storm hits this evening.☃️
Also, I thought you could use two of those round trays (cut in half) and stack them so they have more girth...kinda like me after my winter hibern-eating!
👋🌞Good morning Sherry! I finished up a few minor quick chores. I am now nestled on the couch, to enjoy your vlog with my first cup of coffee. Sooooooo excited to watch it. I will comment post-vlog. Let's get started....
👋🌞@Canterbury Cottage Good morning, again, Sherry! Ok, time for comments. For the half shelves, you can find cleat (sp?) kits at hardware stores to attach to wall and your wooden strip that you added. It would give the appearance of a floating shelf. Or they also have floating shelf kits too. Just a suggestion. Love the leather napkin ring dupe!😍 Your lampshade stand and planter look adorable! The flowing ivy really looks fabulous on it. You did a great job upstyling
Sherry, I become very unhappy when I'm nearing the end of your videos. I could watch all day. I think I've already seen all of your past ones. Your talent is extraordinary and your personality and teacher are stellar.
Do you remember watching a thrilling series on T.V and you can’t wait for the next episode, well Sherry this is how I feel each week waiting for your next episode! I am never disappointed, you come up with the best ideas and I just love everything you do. Being from England I just love your style and wanted to tell you that you have captured the English cottage style so well !kudos Sherry you make my heart sing xx
Oh, Jeanette! That means SO MUCH! I often wonder what the English think of Americans copying their style. (Especially, since our houses are big and boring without the quirkiness of a true English cottage.) I am doing a cottage style refresh of my bedroom, so I will be very curious to see what you think of that. BTW the thrilling TV series that I am watching now is “The Gilded Age” by the creator of “Downton Abbey.” Only two episodes out so far, but I am hooked!
@@CanterburyCottage I’m sure they take it as a compliment, the fact that you do it so well I’m sure they probably copy from you, your home is stunning! You are truly gifted xxx
I always save your videos until I have some quiet time all alone to enjoy them. As so many others have remarked you totally astound me every week with not only your creativity, but your craftsmanship and attention to detail. I often sit and stare at the pile of insulators, urns, frames, lamps, and cool bits of debris I've collected, and think 'what would Sherry do with this or that?' Love not only your ideas but your presentation. TFS
If you ever feel like experimenting with a little more texture - try adding a small amount of the Dollar Tree fine white sand you your joint compound and chalk paint. It comes out amazing! Loved everything you did as usual. You are so talented.
I love watching older items being turned into new & useful things, especially the plant stands & the hanging round shelving basket! Thanks so much for sharing your creativity & talent!!! Blessings!
Sherry I have never seen anything that you’ve done that I didn’t like. I really believe each item that is Upcycled is one more thing that we have recycled and kept out of the landfill. Plus how wonderful to be able to say “oh I made it out of some old pieces and parts I had laying around!” You turn old pieces and parts into one of a kinds!
I wait all week for your video. Then I watch it and enjoy all of your ideas. When I’m done I, I’m sad because I have to wait a whole week for another video. You are so talented. Thank you!
Wow! I am blown away with your projects! They look great and are so much like Magnolia but so much less expensive. Thank you for sharing your creativity.
Dear Sherry, You've done it again. I am so entertained and inspired when I watch your videos. I live in the southernmost part of Texas and had to turn on the air-conditioner for a little while because the office temperature was at 81 degrees. I hope you stay warm safe during the snow storm. Thanks for entertaining all of us. Liz, Your Virtual Neighbor
Wow Sherry! I really like the magnolia style too but I LOVE these dupes. Not only are they beautiful but they look like real fun to make. I will try the bud vase for sure, and the woven circle wall shelf is amazing. It’s your bravery that’s my favorite part of your channel. Who would “just do it” and put those wood pieces in a basket to make it so perfect? Not many, but you are inspired! Many thanks again 😊
Thank you, Stephanie! You are always so very sweet! I love the challenge of duping high priced decor, but I never know how they will turn out. I was wishing that I had found a brown round wicker tray for the wall shelf, but it was red, so I painted it white. That ended up being a blessing because I could use caulk, and I didn’t have to cut the ends of my boards to an exact angle. (It was far too cold in my garage this week to attempt “perfect” angles!)
Great duplicates ! I am with you, if I can get the same effect without spending as much money, then I am happy. I have a suggestion for hanging your adorable shelves; flip the L brackets upside down and attach the shelf from under instead above the shelf. It might still show a little, unless you add a "skirt" made of balsa wood or plastic "wood" trim like the original shelves have. A lot of great ideas to add to my notebook of crafty things to do.
Oh Miss Sherrie, don’t ever change!! I love your videos, your delightful delivery style, your kind heart and your passion for all you share. Am going through an immensely difficult time in my life, but really look forward to Tuesdays, you make me smile when not much else does! Blessings to you and your family. Good morning, sweet friend! I’m so glad you liked these projects! I am running errands today ahead of the snow storm. It is going to hit us worse than you, I believe. We are right on the line between 8’ - 12” or 12’ - 15”. Luckily, I have some larger painting projects lined up, so I’ll have plenty to keep me busy!
Well Joanna Gaines will be so proud. I know its simple but the last project was beautiful. I can see some great projects using that idea. Your vases are even better than the originals. Doesn't it blow your mind how much they charge because it has her name on things. I'm very happy to see these. I love it when you do the dupes. I'm not surprised at all that yours are better. Maybe Joanna needs to take some inspiration from you. Well done today. I've watched 2 times but I gotta see it again and actually take notes this time.
Sherry, Always love all your projects! My favorite today was the black and white print. So classic and classy! Keep these videos coming.. Thanks for sharing your talents with us. Always look forward to Tuesdays!!!
As you probably know, lamps are one of my favorite things to pick up at thrift stores, so I have a huge pile of old harps. I was surprised at how much I liked the way they looked in a plant pot. It think I’m going to paint one green or blue for a plant in my bedroom!

The lamp shade flower frame is such a tremendous idea. I have one and almost give away. You are born to be an artist! Your works are never look cheap as well.
All the projects were wonderful. They could fit into many different kinds of decor from farmhouse to classic. My favourite was the lamp stand. I have a few lamp shades that got broken when moving and now I know what to do with them. I can see my ivy growing around those crowns. Thanks again for all the wonderful ideas and creations.
I loved that old clock face that you used on the lamp-to-table dup and I would have used it face up on the table!.. I am going to need to decompress after this video is over - lol... seriously, though, this dup was my favorite and I have just the lamp to use... all the dups were wonderful and I will be attempting several (especially the dot vase)... thanks for your wonderful ideas...

My pothos will thank you 😄 I just love your videos and the craftiness you show by taking things apart and repurposing. Keep the videos coming!
I love your videos, and the Magnolia/Hearth and Home are my favorites! Now when I go to a thrift store I look at the possibilities of a piece instead of using it “as is” to decorate.
Hi Sherry, every project was awesome! I think my favorite was the bud vase also. The lamp harp trellis was so creative and looked so high end. Thank you for sharing your amazing talent. See you next Tuesday 😊

Every dupe was terrific. They were all doable, affordable. Well done Sherry! 🤗
The vase with the blue napkins is AWESOME!!
These are all wonderful projects but my favorites have to be the tree print, the lamp table and the framed music sheets.
I love the table you made from the lamp
Awesome! All these dupes were amazing. This Christmas I made a Christmas village after watching your video making them out of bird houses. Everyone loved them. So now, I am going to try making a table like the one you made out of the lamp. Thank you for sharing your creative ideas with us. God bless you.
the gem dotted bud vase is really cute. My favorite is the metal plant stands... something I have never thought about!
Fabulous as usual. I love the plant stands, trellises and the gold table.
My favorites, the tree print and the side table made from a lamp base. You're a genius!
I like your versions so much better than the originals. You are so talented.
My favorite was the plant stand made with the lampshade and the harp trellises I also love the table made from a lamp
Love the way you repurpose lamps and you made the bud vase an easy and fun project to do. I look forward to Tuesdays!
Love so many of these. I think the multiple layer vase is my favorite.
Gosh, you never run out of brilliant ideas! You’re such an inspiration! We are so grateful you share your ideas and create videos! The video editing is a chore in and of itself! Thank you, endlessly!
Good Morning, Sherry. This video is absolutely awe inspiring! I’m ready to try all of them. I’m a proponent of using things that were originally one thing and making them into something completely different too. Your video has my creative juices flooding my brain. Thanks for another GREAT video! Can’t wait until next Tuesday!
the bumpy vase @ 14: 10 made me grin and breathe out a little "huff' as soon as you applied the "gem" strips. *genius!*
I prefer your items to the shop items. Well done. Thank you.
You are a master at your craft. What more can I say? Thank you so much for sharing your special talents.
All your ideas in this video were wonderful but the table from the lamp was my favorite.
Sherry, go to the head of the class. You nailed it with these dupes. As usual, I am in awe of your creativity and vision. Love each and every one. Love spending Tuesday mornings with you. ⭐
You are so creative! I've been using quite a bit of blue in my decor lately and decopaging napkins to vases will really enhance the look I'm going for. Thanks for the techniques for a more a more successful outcome.

Unbelievable transformations! Wow.So much inspiration and I cannot thank you enough...did I say wow?
I am totally fascinated with the different uses of a tall lamp stand. I had no idea you could make such cute plant stands out of them or even a trellis for the plants. My pothos will thank you 😄 I just love your videos and the craftiness you show by taking things apart and repurposing. Keep the videos coming!
Thanks so much! 😊 I am so glad you like them!
I came across your video by accident but Wow! I'm so impressed. I'll be binge watching your older videos.
I have never binge watched anyone before. You are a DIY diva I want to be you
If I could like your videos 100 times I would .A very smart lady .
I love your videos, and the Magnolia/Hearth and Home are my favorites! Now when I go to a thrift store I look at the possibilities of a piece instead of using it “as is” to decorate.
I love watching refurbish and recreate decorations thank you I loved the music and the last base with decoupage which I loved.
Thanks Sherry! Great jod! See you Tuesday!
Hi Sherry, every project was awesome! I think my favorite was the bud vase also. The lamp harp trellis was so creative and looked so high end. Thank you for sharing your amazing talent. See you next Tuesday 😊
I am amazed and impressed you make no mess.
I'm so glad I found your channel! This is what HGTV used to be about, and I've missed it! SO inspiring!
Thanks !😊
I like your dupes better than the Magnolia high priced things. You are so talented.
I love bud faces. I love to clip out a couple zinnia or other flowers and bring them inside throughout the summer blooming months.
Sherry, You aced all your "dupes". Everything is so pretty. I have a love of all things blue and white but the vase you antiqued towards the end is my favorite.
I like the belt trick
Sherry these are amazing and in some cases even more beautiful than Magnolia! thank you for all your inspiring and creative ideas! I could watch you all day, which is the perfect thing to do on snowy days🥰
