Shut the front AND back doors! Your creativity knows no bounds. I think when you are purchasing things at a thrift store you have the freedom to do whatever you want with them! It doesn't matter if someone didn't approve of what you did, I hate when people give thrifters a hard time over these things. If they don't approve of something you did, then they can go and purchase their own thrifted items and do what THEY think is best. Don't listen to them, you are a creative genius. Every single one of these things today was so cute and quaint! I love what you did with the lamp, making a shade of a doily! What a cool idea! The little birds in the picture frames were so cute. Honestly, it was all amazing! 💖💖💖💖💖
I agree 110%! After all, these items were given to a thrift shop! Using your creative ideas makes them beautiful and wanted again. It’s a new treasure all over again! Sherry, you keep doing you and the rest of us will keep cheering you on and celebrating your art! ~Kelly 😊
Agreed. Items are sitting in a thrift store-maybe they’ll sell maybe not. At least making them over they may get a few more years loved-instead of going to a landfill. Do these people realize how much brass, silver items in the thrift stores- that don’t sell?? Gees-everyone is a critic. Do what you want. You always do a lovely job.❤️
Sherry please stop worrying about the negative comments! These are your projects you pay for them so do with them what you want! You are saving these things from going into a landfill. As always I love all of today's crafts TFS
Absolutely! She can ignore negative comments. However, the people who comment negatively are likely subscribers, too. Better to acknowledge the comments with a positive reply.
Don't give those negative people (who probably could not create anything) from a thrift store a second thought. You are one of the most creative people I know and you paid for the things to add new life to them. I Love, Love the lamp. "Beautiful"
Wow. Love the lace lampshade and lamp. And the green vase. And the wrapping paper frame. Your creativity and can-do attitude blow me away. You are fearless with your creations.
Had to pause and tell you how fantastic the doors, windows, sons & pet look on your books! I love it! Oooooh, next one, the dragonfly,😮, I’m over the moon! Still watching……
@@CanterburyCottageThank you for putting a picture of each of the “afters”! That’s very helpful for me. These were all very good and it’s difficult to pick one as a favorite- they are all terrific!!! Sherry, please don’t let those who give negative feedback influence you. So many of us think you’re a creative genius. Those metal plates aren’t valuable so you just go right ahead n do your own thing. Loved all your great creative makeovers but I fell in love with the lace lamp shade.
