    I saw an interview of Mel Robbins and she talked about the 5 second rule, so the following day I tried it and it worked! I was feeling so down when I woke up...it such a bad feeling when you first wake up and every problems come pouring on your head and I felt so down because I really don't know what to do. I didn't want to get up...I remember the interview with Mel from the day before so I started counting backwards...5-4-3-2-1 and boom, I was up and getting out of bed like I am late for everything...I couldn't even remember my problems after that, I just knew I have to do something productive and I did. Thank you Mel Robbins

    Mel I just want you to know how your five second rule was a true transformation for me after seeing you at the legal shield convention in ada oklahoma march 2017! I used the rule everyday to make difficult phone calls and decided to do things that were so creative in my marketing business that I can make an important impact on some many lives for many colleges all over the world! I created three educational leadership workshops! Engaging interactive and life changing! Thanks a million hope our paths cross again in the near future you are awesome beyond belief

    The 5 Second Rule Changed my life 360. I just couldn't get things done. When I heard about this rule, I said why not try it...and surprisingly it worked. Combining it with Nike's Slogan , ... i go 5 4 3 2 1 "Just do it" and i get myself to do it.. Its very true that our minds never feels like doing the things that we are supposed to do. After you have done it.. thats when you feel motivated to do it again tomorrow. The problem is we wait for the motivation which may never come! Thank you Mel Robbins

    I used the 5 second rule today! I have always been afraid of heights. As a kid, I was scared of many slides. Today, just to prove myself that I could get through the fear, I went to the park and got on the slides. I saw kids all around me and felt embarrassed that I was on the playground. But, that was the fear of what people think. I climbed up the slide and as I was about to back off, I said 54321 and stepped forward. I felt a huge sense of accomplishment because it showed me that I really can do the things I'm afraid to do. I felt a boost of courage!

    It was somehow funny and in another way interesting for me to see this talk. I know 3 languages (German, English and surely Persian). Each and every time that i stucked doing something, i started to count from 5 to zero in one of these languages and it worked for me. but what i didn't know was that this is a way others may use as well or i didn't know that it has a philosophy and scientific proofs in background. So when i watched this video, i decided to share this with you. BTW thanks for your fascinating videos that will help anyone of any kind to improve themselves and their success.

    What happens in the brain: 13:37

    • @adiconstantin260
      @adiconstantin260 6 років тому

      What it is supposed to happen in the brain when counting down (5-4-3-2-1- ignition! :) ) is described in animation twice from ~13:48 till 14:00. The red zone, activated by too many thoughts is decreasing, while the green zone increase, taking over. This is probably verifiable, by an EEG or electroencephalography, (probably already done).
