Mine didn’t work. I have a my q garage door opener and the learn button is on the handle on the wall not on the garage door motor. Do you have any suggestions? When I press and hold the button it’s orange not green not yours. I programmed another remote and it worked so not sure what I’m doing wrong.

I have a 2023 rav4 with the digital mirror and when i press the button 3x and then select "no, its not moving" - it tells me to re-start and doesnt ask me to go press the learn buttton (which i suspect is my issue). Any idea?

Same exact thing happens on my Tundra, it keeps saying "start over" instead of "press learn". Did you ever resolve? Mine still not working...ughh

After the "press this button 3 times" step mine says "did garage door open?" & when I press "No" it doesn't then say " go press the learn button" but instead keeps saying "start over". I must have tried a dozen times already. I even tried to go push the learn button at that point but still not working. Very frustrating. 2023 Toyota Tundra 1794 edition. Ughh..

Skip to 1:20 if your garage door opener has a "learn" button. Just press the learn button, then get into your car, and hit the remote button on the mirror for 2 seconds, then hit your remote button on the mirror once again. That's all it takes, and you don't even need the original remote.

For security reason, If you are inside your car and you would like to open your garage (if you press the button), will the garage door open without starting the car?
If it is, then I have a problem - there are few thieves in my area that looking for a car door open at night and ransack whatever in my garage.
I always lock my car but sometimes I forget to lock it and they can just press the button and thieves empty my garage.

Depends if your car has power to the mirror. Mine will require full key open. A broken window will not turn on any power.

The Smart mirrors in the new Toyotas somehow "learn" the new Liftmaster operators without having to push the operator learn button. The steps in this video are correct but no need to run into and back out to the car.
