Too bad I have a PS4. The restoration loop doesn’t work. However, I do have mods. I can enchant something to resist magic well over 100%. However, it’s not nearly as awesome as being organically immune to it like Barry Boneraiser.
In a straight fight, Reanu Keeves would win hands down. After all, Barry bone raiser is immune to magic, Reanu Keeves is immune to EVERYTHING! Also he's basically one punch man
If the restoration boost increases your passive effects in magic, Does that mean you're already immune to fire damage as soon as you drink it? The dark elf is 50% resistant to fire damage so that potion may give you temporary immunity to fire.
You sadly aren't able to unequip the permanent effect. I believe it may work for orcs but I'm not sure, it does work for ancient knowledge though, forever increasing it more than it should be, dwemmer armour becomes shockingly better. It's a favourite.
@DARTHORIAN_DARK_WING you can become fully resistant each element separately. So the magical resistance regularly is capped at 85%, but using enchanting you can get fully resistant separately to each element.
I love how Bethesda has had this weird tug of war with the playerbase in terms of balance or "balance" with the Elder Scrolls where they remove or change a thing to bring down player power to what can be called reasonable. Only for the players to find some way to completely and utterly break the system anyway. At some point you just look at an Elder Scrolls game and ask yourself "How can I break the back of this game that even Bane will tell me to go easy on it?"
@@belland_dog8235 personally i think it's better this way, as long as the modding community exists we can keep the fun bugs while removing the bad ones, although it is extremely lazy and scummy to leave it to the modders to do so.
@Robo I just wish that wasn’t the case because the things you could do with a better engine with a company that also supports mods (and not the Creation Club Shit) could be absolutely amazing. Instead it feels like Bethesda is exploiting the amazing people who upload mods for free that have extended the lifespan of Skyrim into possible decades.
Barry Boneraiser: Drink tea when watching or else! Me, drinking Cola: Guess I'll die Barry: First 6000 coffee drinker to like are fine Me, still drinking Cola: That doesn't help!

3:55 wait a minute, isn't Riften the ONE place where you'd absolutely want to lock your doors? Or is it inevitably going to get picked so it's just not worth the effort?
Well, there are some places in real life where people don't bother locking their car doors. The reasoning is if someone's going to break in and look for something to steal, it's better they just look and be on their way. Having a locked door means they just smash in the window and look anyways, so now you also have to get window repair. Although I think this only works if the car is a bit of a junker to begin with, and not worth the effort of stealing the whole car.
Keanu Reeves resists all damage and can one shot anything with his bare hands. He could stroll past Barry’s undead horde and wack him for an overkill amount of *nonmagical* damage.
I remember I accidently did a glitch like this before, and I was so confused when I did it and have been trying to figure out what the hell I did. The thing is though I never used alchemy though....
All Fortifying effects are considered restoration, which is why restoration boosts the restoration Fortify Alchemy effect on your necklace. It's not broken, this is actually what is intended of the school and it's effect. You should see this in Morrowind, once a stat boost potion passed a certain duration, it became a passive effect. That's how I was running around with 60k strength and speed.
me: *pauses video and makes cup of tea with some snacks* (his way of speaking and accent, it really fits in well to do so and listen while relaxing, ngl)
Use yellow mt flowers from ancestral glade instead of fish to fortify restoration. There’s 40ish in there and they respawn. They also have a multiplier effect. Better ingredient in every capacity
TL;DR: No, experience bonuses work a bit different than spells and enchantments. In the case of the Lady Stone, the experience bonus from comes from a perk, said perk is tied to a magic effect and said magic effect is tied to a spell. This is necessary because perks don't show up in the "Active Effects" menu, thus, requiring to be disguised as a spell. Perk: Changes the experience gain Magic Effect: Creates a "spell archetype", in this case, apply a specific perk Spell: Adjusts the "spell archetype (duration, area, magnitude, cost...) Regardless of the skill in which the magic effect falls under, the perk is a fixed entry and will remain the same, otherwise the restoration glitch would boost on perks such as Armsman. For regular armor enchantments there is only a magic effect and a spell, this glitch works because someone at Bethesda placed all the magic effects tied to armor enchantments under the Restoration skill.

Hey so I figured it out on Switch. They changed it so that the boosted % won’t stay with the potion once the effect of you drinking the previous potion runs out. It drops to 1/3 of the +100% if you let the 60 sec expire or drink another of the same % potion in a row. (Ex- 112% active effect making 129% potion. If you drink another 112% potion in a row all +100% potions drop %. Same if you let active potion time run out) You can get past this by either brewing in Mistwatch and running to the stone before the 60 sec run out (pretty easy), or brewing a potion above 500% (It’ll drop to +100% and stay regardless of if you have a previous potion effect on you). As a strange side effect I can no longer use any conjuration spells, even ones from a scroll or staff. But honestly, Magic immunity > Fire Attronach/summons
@@masonliagre5756From what I have found that is correct and they are not properly flagged as non-absorb able. So unless you edit the files yourself or use a mod the exploit will prevent conjuration and restoration spells from working.

Resistance caps at 85% however absorbance doesn't
@DARTHORIAN_DARK_WING you can become fully resistant each element separately. So the magical resistance regularly is capped at 85%, but using enchanting you can get fully resistant separately to each element.

@@westworld237 Ah, cool
I love how Bethesda has had this weird tug of war with the playerbase in terms of balance or "balance" with the Elder Scrolls where they remove or change a thing to bring down player power to what can be called reasonable. Only for the players to find some way to completely and utterly break the system anyway.
At some point you just look at an Elder Scrolls game and ask yourself "How can I break the back of this game that even Bane will tell me to go easy on it?"
Lol the only way Bethesda is ever going to stop people from breaking their games is if they fix their damn engine.
Instead it feels like Bethesda is exploiting the amazing people who upload mods for free that have extended the lifespan of Skyrim into possible decades.

wait a minute, isn't Riften the ONE place where you'd absolutely want to lock your doors?
Or is it inevitably going to get picked so it's just not worth the effort?
And then use that money you saved to move out of town.
@@expiringdate9679 Can't save money if the money is stolen.
Don't you know anything, if you hide your gold pieces on the parlour table next to the expensive books no one can find it.
My guess is people just don't lock their doors cause they can't afford it, I mean they DO live in riften

In theory would this work with the lady stone allowing you to instantly level up every skill? Like would it say “level up all skills 2846292% faster?”
That's actually a good question. 🤔
Sounds
Like something we should try gamers
TL;DR: No, experience bonuses work a bit different than spells and enchantments.
In the case of the Lady Stone, the experience bonus from comes from a perk, said perk is tied to a magic effect and said magic effect is tied to a spell. This is necessary because perks don't show up in the "Active Effects" menu, thus, requiring to be disguised as a spell.
Perk: Changes the experience gain
Magic Effect: Creates a "spell archetype", in this case, apply a specific perk
Spell: Adjusts the "spell archetype (duration, area, magnitude, cost...)
Regardless of the skill in which the magic effect falls under, the perk is a fixed entry and will remain the same, otherwise the restoration glitch would boost on perks such as Armsman. For regular armor enchantments there is only a magic effect and a spell, this glitch works because someone at Bethesda placed all the magic effects tied to armor enchantments under the Restoration skill.
Literally not an item with an enchantment how would it even be effected by restoration?

@@thefisherman0074 I tend to use mods to get better looking items, like the texture overhauls for armor, new character skins, and so on. There are even animation packs that make your characters look less like wooden mannequins. It's kind of sad that BethSoft seems to be behind the times in regards to artwork in every title they build, but it's good that they stay out of the way for modders to fix that. Really helps their titles have longer lifespans.

Same if you let active potion time run out)
You can get past this by either brewing in Mistwatch and running to the stone before the 60 sec run out (pretty easy), or brewing a potion above 500% (It’ll drop to +100% and stay regardless of if you have a previous potion effect on you).
As a strange side effect I can no longer use any conjuration spells, even ones from a scroll or staff. But honestly, Magic immunity > Fire Attronach/summons
Yeah the conjuration side effect is because the game counts a conjured creature as an effect on you, I think. I've noticed it too
@@masonliagre5756From what I have found that is correct and they are not properly flagged as non-absorb able. So unless you edit the files yourself or use a mod the exploit will prevent conjuration and restoration spells from working.
