I'm pretty sure only the armor, helmet/circlet, amulet, and ring can normally accept that enchantment. Well, I guess some gauntlets do appear with fortify destruction so the player can probably make those too, but apparently pre-built gauntlets don't go over 17%. Nightingale gloves btw don't affect spellcasting, they increase one-handed damage and lockpicking (the hood enhances illusion). And the archmage robes are only 15%, so you must have found a helmet or circlet and necklace of 25% each and a ring worth 20%. I'm pretty sure I crafted my first five-finger discount magic set. IIRC in the base game you can get 25% to each item at max level with full perks and no potions. The best way do do this is to do restoration and destruction together. Find an npc alone. Use a strong heal other continuous spell on them and the weakest flame spell on them at the same time. Here's a fun exploit for infinite levels using magic: Get your alteration spells to zero cost Get the Telekinesis spell Pick up an item, and then fast travel to the other side of the map while holding it It counts the ingame time needed to travel, and gives you alteration experience from holding telekinesis for that amount of time It will take you from 1 to 100 alteration, give you several levels, and then you can reset alteration to start again It does also work if you wait instead of fast travel, but fast travel is quicker
Get the soul trap spell from any court wizard and repeatedly cast it on a dead body, it goes faster if it costs nothing but you can also wait to get your magic back. Easy level 100 conjuration
What the hell really, you can do that.Well now i know the hundreds of hours i spent soul tapping dead wolfs and muffling myself where a complete waste of time
The one drawback of this is if you're a vampire. I've had multiple instances where I've needed to feed on some poor guard in the city I pulled up to with mysteriously raised, orange-glowing hands.
Spiff, I would point out that there's an easier way to do this challenge. Once you get to the Fortify Destruction potions section, just grab the Flame Cloak spell from Faralda (or from a location on the coast between Dawnstar and Winterhold), and use a potion whenever you cast the cloak, as it increases the radius of your damage proportionately to the damage potency, meaning you don't even have to aim. Anything hostile to you that enters that radius will die, because it unwittingly walked into a natural disaster from a kilometer away, and it is glorious.
He could also use conjuration to summon things to kill (not that fast but consistent), or use his mass resurrection exploit to get infinite targets to kill repeatedly.
@@imadecoy. Actually not quite so, at least for Atronachs. If he's operating on the 100% magic absorption build, for whatever reason, you absorb your own Atronach spells, meaning you can only do Necromancy and Bound weapons while that immunity is in place. But my point was that the Flame Cloak Spell is amazingly efficient for it because you can kill enemies before you see them with the Flame Cloak, no aiming required, while allies remain unharmed.
@@maniac7770 Ah yes, forgot about that issue. I think the main problem with the flame cloak is just that you need to find a good supply of enemies, which could take a while if you don't have a lot of locations discovered for fast travel. @@imadecoy. And that's where it particularly shines. You can all but clean out a dungeon well before you've reached the end just because the cloaks don't care whether an enemy is behind a wall, but if they're in its radius.

Bound Bow, Sword, and Battleaxe all just conjure up a Daedra in the form of said weapon and do physical damage equivalent to the respective Daedric weapons scaled off your archery, one-handed, and two-handed skills respectively rather than your Conjuration skill. This, technically, makes those spells martial based rather than magic based as their effectiveness has nothing to do with how good of a mage you are but how good of warrior you are.

TaikaJamppa at least you’ll still have a challenge in the late game. I just think having unlimited power gets boring really fast. I like being more powerful than most enemies, but not all. Not to the point where there is a guaranteed 100% success rate whenever you run into 6 legendary dragons on legendary difficulty lol. That’s just stupid
You can still minorly cheese it by quaffing a lot of lesser potions in the right order and make weapons that only deal tens of thousands of points of damage as well as enchant armor in the thousands of % boosts. Not quite as overkill god like, but still nigh unstoppable. I have a set of Stahlrim light armor that is basically Deathbrand as well as having 200% magic absorb, 15000% health, magicka, and stamina regen, +25000 points to each, and +6000% one handed damage. I discovered a similar exploit without the enchantment and alchemy. Using the secret of sorcery power from the filament and filgree black book in the dragonborn dlc, you can activate powers with no cost for 30 seconds. However, with spells that cost magica per second, you may use them as long as you’re casting the spell. This works through loading screens and fast travel. Please go try it out sometime it’s a lot of fun and requires little to no effort

Here's a fun exploit for infinite levels using magic:
Get your alteration spells to zero cost
Get the Telekinesis spell
Pick up an item, and then fast travel to the other side of the map while holding it
It counts the ingame time needed to travel, and gives you alteration experience from holding telekinesis for that amount of time
It will take you from 1 to 100 alteration, give you several levels, and then you can reset alteration to start again
It does also work if you wait instead of fast travel, but fast travel is quicker
I had no idea that worked - I always just rushed to solthseim to grab ash shell, spammed that until paralysis became available.
Get the soul trap spell from any court wizard and repeatedly cast it on a dead body, it goes faster if it costs nothing but you can also wait to get your magic back. Easy level 100 conjuration
Go in console add experience
Shouldn't be an issue if you've got some big bandit/forsworn camps.
@@imadecoy. And that's where it particularly shines. You can all but clean out a dungeon well before you've reached the end just because the cloaks don't care whether an enemy is behind a wall, but if they're in its radius.

Yeah, Vanilla is lacking sometimes when it comes to crafting. I miss having custom spells like we did in Oblivion.

When playing Skyrim, no matter what intent I have for my character build, I always end up a sneaky archer by the end game.
Most people do, stealth archery is broken af lol
It’s the opposite for me, I make an assassin build but then end up specialising in magic (for the invisibility and detect life)
@@shadowwolf12398 Same. Magic in TES is so cool it's hard for me not to specialize in it. And when I do manage to stay a stealth character, I usually transition into a dagger wielding assassin. You haven't lived until you've sneaky-stabbed a dragon on a wall lol.
For me, necromancer
I have dabbled in every playstyle. For shear fun without care the tanky 2-hander is great. Less satisfaction for showy kills, but there's something about being able to walk up to a giant at 7th lvl and shove your boot up their ass without worry.
Plot twist: Satan is allergic to soap, which makes bubbles super effective.

I like that despite reanu's near infinite health, there is still one vanilla weapon that can kill him
Remember, he swapped his infinite health armor for his infinite magic armor

I did made a magic god after learning the fortify restoration loop on this channel. My enchant potions are 1538% stronger. I made a circlet with 3961% faster regeneration and 1538% alchemy, as well as a ring with the same regen and 3961 extra Magika. I never run out of magic. I then keep destruction potions making my spells 2450% stronger. I can make even stronger stuff, but don’t want the game being too broken. I kill Revered Dragons in about 3 hits on Legendary.
Yeah like those numbers dont scream broken
The problem of course being that is a lot of work for something that can just as easily be done by just making all schools of magic cost 0 magicka.m for less work.
@@stevenviljoen160 not sure how to do that one. Is it really faster though? The fortify resto loop can be done in like 5-10 minutes. 0 magika spells also don’t make the spells stronger. The potions do.
@@PrinceSamurai45 More magic and regen also does not make you magic stronger, by using the resto loop you can buff the fortify illusion/destruction and so forth enchants to make spells cost 100% less l, that makes all spells cost nothing and that means you effectively have infinite mana, its faster than going for a insane magic and regen amount using the same exploit while at the same time giving a infinite yield compared to a finite cap.
20:57 Hilariously I thought the same when I encountered this, but I was curios enough to just go for it and it turns out, they really just want to give you a drink and then go off.
Or you can get a necklace
I loved Oblivion's spell creation system. I created a series of spells for any situation, including a pair of spells called Elimination and Elimination (Touch) that sapped all my magicka but spelled instant death for any enemy hit with them. No mods.
