For bar stool tops, turn disk out of some nice rustic/weathered wood you can also harden with cactus juice epoxy and then clear cast epoxy into center so you can see the sprocket and what now from the top. Would look amazing. Also build little front room on the man door, so you dont let too much warm air out from the new garage when you walk in or out. Its also good place to store some beer to keep it nice and chill with out freezing it.

So genuinely happy yall are growing and doing things like this. Watch your videos every week and want nothing but success for you guys. Can't wait to see the new shop progress and even cooler projects. Way to go guys!
As a viewer that has been watching GHPC right from the start. I definitely want to say congratulations to you guys with the announcement of your brand new shop or should I say build center or perhaps GHPC headquarters. since from the way you described it will be so much better, not only for the AWESOME build's and creations that you guys produce. but also for every aspect of what you guys and GHPC as an entity do and making it operate like a well oiled machine so to speak. I probably wouldn't be too far off in saying that a large amount of the success that GHPC has achieved. is due to you guys thinking outside the box. and the remainder is from a lot of diligence and hard work. those zip lines are an interesting mode of transportation getting around your property. and Edwin answered a question I had, what if for some reason you get struck in the middle of the zip line? and the answer is sort of what I thought it would be. and that is to be flexible and monuverable enough to get yourself up on to the zip line and right the dolly. and to have Ethan somewhere nearby to throw him a rope good save guy's. I would have to guess that it wouldn't be too good to have to drop from that highth. that would almost for sure mean the possibility of some broken bones. those are the times when it's great to have a good buddy around to help you thought. and because of you guy's partnering up and making GHPC happen it has allowed you to live even more of a great life. where you can live life at wide open throttle and get the most out of it. and the bonus is viewers like me can ride along with you. and get to experience some of it vicariously through you and GHPC. so keep up the great work guy's I sure appreciate it. oh and I wanted to mention AWESOME Job on the house. it takes a little extra knowledge to build a house that will hold up well though North Idaho winters. and the consideration you give to repurposing is amazing, and lot more people should consider that since it's way too much of a throw away world these days. it's sad to not have Sam as much of a part of GHPC he really seems like a decent guy and seemed like a really good fit with GHPC. I had a conversation with Edwin and he said due to the same circumstances it was sad that it had to happen. and he said that Sam would stop by and possibly make an appearance, every now and then when he could get the chance to. and you have two new members to the GHPC team that are similar to Sam, in the respect's that they seem like decent guys that will be a good fit with GHPC. and each one has respective skills that will be quite helpful to GHPC, to ramp up productivity which should add to the incredible success that GHPC has been already having. as a viewer that has watched GHPC from the beginning it's amazing to see how much you guy's have grown and how much you have done. and that the old shop has served it's purpose and with the new shop this Will usher in a whole new era for GHPC. again keep up the good work guy's you deserve it.
While I haven't personally worked on them, a good engine that I think you guys could use for the firetruck is the LDT-465C engine that was used in the M35A2 military trucks. The C's with the whistler turbo topped out at I think 190 horse and 400 ish footpounds of torque, but they could be turned up for relatively cheap. The biggest benefit to using this engine would be that it is a multifuel engine. You could run engine oil cut with sawdust if you so desired. I would also recommend converting the oil filters to modern canisters with anti drainback valves, since the original design let all the oil drain back into the sump, which starved the engines in the first 20 seconds of startup (every time they are started) These engines go for around 4 grand in good condition, which is comparable to a more powerful cummins 6.7 or 8.1, but I think if you guys don't want to worry too much about what you fuel it up with, or you want to make use of all the oil changes you're making, it makes for an excellent disposal system. Oh yes, these engines are 478 CUI inline 6's
These guys making dreams come true not only for themselves but for other people and they deserved it you can't wait for more dream house and dream garage We'll accomplish each other
Would be great to see videos on the house and new shop but definitely recommend slamming a Cummins in the fire truck, probably the bread van flavored variety for the beefier transmission.
@@TheSteveac if you're gonna do a common rail might as well get a 6.7, the guys at power driven diesel are more up grindhards alley if you ask me. And much closer.
One of the best upgrades I ever made to my shop was a diving wall. I had a clean room and dirty room. Clean room for engine work and painting and dirty for grinding, cutting and welding. It meant I didn't have to cover the car when I was was grinding and didn't have to cover the tools when I paint.
LOVE the bearing cap handles idea - with alloy ones from a head you could easily chamfer or radius them and polish and have them look legitimately great. With the steel ones it'd be more work but you still could, and could laquer or paint or whatever. Cool idea!
You guys deserve this so much, still mind blown it took you so long for you all to hit a million subs. You’re so talented, thanks for all the great videos, keep it up
Great video, fantastic! Good to get a summary of the vehicles and a better look around the land. Your house is lovely and has some great features. Can’t wait to see the completed new shop and wish you all the best for the future guys. Glad you’re growing and continuing the great content!
This is so awesome - thank you for taking us on a tour. It looks so much like my dreams. The house is beautiful, I tend to decorate with my past projects as well. The new building is going to unleash the potential - so much room! Should you reinforce part of the roof so that it can be a sky jump? Yes, not a ski jump, sky jump..
Really cool house! The zip lines look like a lot of fun for you young guys. I'de have to have some kinda stand/sit in one. Enjoy as much as you can while you can!
been following the channel since barbie mustang and its truly heartwarming that you guys are still doing these videos for us and upgrading your content and achieving our goals! Greetings from Finland!
One of the most talented fabricators on UA-cam! Its amazing watching you guys engineer these crazy with pen, paper and some cardboard! If the back of the new shop is going to be so close to the ground you should consider blending it into the hillside and making a living roof, it would save even more on heating and cooling and totally blend into the outdoor paradise you guys have there.
Finally! Id like to see some of the house/shop builds. You guys deserve a MUCH better shop and have for a few years! That one might even be too small. Your kitchen is laid out exactly as mine wtf lol
The motor itself is what creates the 3rd phase, the capacitors in that electrical box are to reduce the in-rush while starting the relatively large motor. The motor is able to do that using the relationship between the windings and spinning magnetic fields. Relatively simple concept, but the best way to create 3ph power these days is to use a vfd.
I would love to see a Cummins in that truck backed with an Allison transmission. I truly love seeing your guys energy and love even more to see your builds.
Wow the house details are awsome, wood and car parts i love it 👍 I never miss a youtube video up here in Quebec, Canada. Cant wait to see the new shop, you guys are great 🤟🤟
Hey, If you ever were to complete the exhaust on the 2j mower, a stack of some sort would look amazing! My Dad once put a little tractor muffler on a wheel horse and have never seen anyone do something similar.
Congratulations on starting the shop! You guys deserve it, you've been killing it. Awesome to see all the new employees and how well the channel's been working out for you. Hard work can pay off! 😁👍👍
You lads have come really far in the short time I've been watching. Came across you with the barbie build and have watched every vid since. The builds you make are crazy and you have a laugh while doing them which really comes across in the vids. Can't wait to see the new garage being built, will be great to see what mad stuff comes out of it when it's done! Keep up the great work guys. All the best from the sunny UK!
I believe Mr. Demo Ranch knows a guy in Texas that can make your dreams come true on that toy hauler engine build....awesome content! This is what this country needs right now, outdoors, zip lines, engines, and toys!
I like how you have Dupont tyvek and then you have the competitor house wrap on the same side and you have a little bit of the original green siding that you had up there when it was your parents house
Wow this is crazy so much progress since the beginning! I’d say a c15 caterpillar would be sweet, or the 12 valve will be the simplest with a few bolt ons to get more power. Congratulations Ethan and Edwin can’t wait to see future episodes in the new shop!
If you get any more 3 phase equipment, you can buy cheap 3 phase vfds (variable frequency drive) off of eBay. They serve the same purpose as the phase converter but are smaller, simpler and fairly cheap. I use an 8hp vfd rated at 25 amps continuous load to run my 3 phase compressor at home. Works great and you can wire in e-stops and other things. Just a little tip, hope it helps. Awesome videos as always.
You guys just keep getting better. You're brand is just gonna get huge and you'll become widely known across the motoring/motorsport fabrication world. Wicked to see!!
The fire truck should definitely have a Cummins! And the first guy you wanna contact for that project would be Rick from DEBOSS GARAGE. ua-cam.com/users/DEBOSSGARAGEfeatured You could make some seriously cool colabs with him on many future projects. He's basically doing his stuff in the same spirit as you guys, but from a more automotive perspective. And he's a wizard with any engine and a well seasoned diesel mechanic with an eye for weird projects exactly like your old fire truck. He has done a ton of colabs before. I bet he would love it.
I've loved watching you work in your current shop, but the new one will be awesome! Have Merlin from "Old school garage" help you put in a 12 valve Cummins would be my vote for the fire truck.
You guys should definitely do a motorized trolley build for a longer zip line. Also, some house builds would be fun to watch and a good way to find time to get it “finished” up
One of my favorite videos. Always wondered about the house, all the personal touches are very cool and even the glow in the dark epoxy in the Osage orange blew me away. Like the personal info, keep up the good work guys.
Thank you for your awesome content. Been here several years and am happy to support y’all and I’m always glad to watch your amazing videos whilst enjoying my lunch. The cinematography, editing, and obviously your builds and fabricating skills are truly incredible…
The new shop is going to be EPIC, I agree about house episode would be great. Your house is incredible. Love your guys work & getting ready to purchase a set of knifes for myself, X-mass gift.
Firetruck engine suggestion: If you like something a little different, see if you can fnd an aircooled Deutz diesel. They've been making those since forever and can be found in some trucks, agricultural equipment, mining machines, etc. They come in straight 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 cylinder as well as V6, V8 and V12. With or without turbo. They're not the most powerful, but they should last pretty much forever, plus they look damn cool.
Ethan your place is awesome, looks like you're living the dream. Thanks for sharing with us. Just got to work o getting more projects closer to finished but I'm all for growing the power wheels fleet!
Dude I think I'm just as happy for you guys as I would be if it was a shop for me! So we'll deserved. You guys are always positive, always have a great attitude and seem to never take your blessings for granted. I absolutely love seeing people be able to make a living doing what they love. God has blessed me with the same and God has certainly blessed you two. I love also having a channel I can watch with my son and daughters without worrying about filthy language or inappropriate content so thank you! Keep crushhing it and Edwin is killing it with the new music mixes!
There are a lot of engine builders that will build you a 632 big block, and will build a better one for less money than the GM one. There is a shop called Raymac racing engines in Mansfield Texas that sells a 747 cubic inch big block designed for large rv’s and duallies that tow heavy. Insane torque and runs on cheap gas. That being said, a diesel swap would be better in my opinion. Cummins would be cool, but maybe a Common Rail instead of a 12 valve. It’s a little more involved, but you can tune them with the right software. They start easier in the cold, where the p-pump 12 valves don’t like to start in the cold. The older VE pump Cummins start great in the cold, but the pump won’t support near as much power. The Common Rail (03 and up but 04.5-07 are the best) spool big turbos the quickest, and are really the most drivable anywhere from stock to tuned to the max. You can detune it from crazy to towing with just a laptop, or a 5 tune switch kit, where a mechanical diesel needs some real work to turn it down.
You might want to think about having the brackets for a 2 floor at the front and a gantry to pick up and place stuff on that 2 floor. The gantry can even help make the 2 floor later on. Good job keep on going having fun and giving content to the masses.
It’s so cool to see the UA-camrs I grew up with making huge progress and constantly upping their game!

You guys deserve a big new shop with heat !!!!!! Keep up the great work.
Should team up with Holden Bros. Common Rail 12 valve
It’s crazy to see how far you guys have come and keep coming! Happy to see it honestly! Keep pumping out the content!
Thanks man! We appreciate the support!
LOVE the bearing cap handles idea - with alloy ones from a head you could easily chamfer or radius them and polish and have them look legitimately great. With the steel ones it'd be more work but you still could, and could laquer or paint or whatever. Cool idea!
Loved the house tour. As a woodworker I appreciate a side of you I never even knew about.
His house is freaking awesome!
Man I am so excited for the Grind Hard team! This will explode your production and productivity!
Thank you very much!
That sink is amazing! The house is so pretty. You should make some more episodes about it. Finish everything up.
been following the channel since barbie mustang and its truly heartwarming that you guys are still doing these videos for us and upgrading your content and achieving our goals!
Greetings from Finland!
Thanks man!
Been here since the beginning, you guys are killing it. My friday's wouldn't be the same without you!
Glad to see you guys are doing so well and have grown so much🤘🤘
Probably got the setup with the old china mill. A vfd sure is nice for speed control for about $500
I would love to see a Cummins in that truck backed with an Allison transmission. I truly love seeing your guys energy and love even more to see your builds.
Wow the house details are awsome, wood and car parts i love it 👍
I never miss a youtube video up here in Quebec, Canada.
So happy for you guys!!! can't wait to see the new shop, lover the tour, wanted to see something like this for quite some time! thanks guys!
Man good for all you guys you’re living the dream keep it up
I love seeing you guys succeed!
Should definatly go a diesel for a toy hauler, you will go bankrupt on gas otherwise.
Would love to see a colab with deboss garage
Awesome work boys!! Been watching since the start of the channel 🤙🏼
Thanks man! Glad you’ve stuck around!
"it just happened to catch fire at just that right moment"
That should be a T-shirt :)
We need a video of you just working on the house 💪💯
This episode is so cool on so many levels
Glad you like it!!
I like how you have Dupont tyvek and then you have the competitor house wrap on the same side and you have a little bit of the original green siding that you had up there when it was your parents house
Best house ever. Ziplines are awesome. The new garage is gonna be super rad. I can't wait to see the next phase of GH
"That box is live?!"
"Yes, yes it is!"
😂
I'm stoked for you guys! I can't wait to see what you guys do with the extra room. :)
thanks man!
Thanks for the tip!
You guys just keep getting better. You're brand is just gonna get huge and you'll become widely known across the motoring/motorsport fabrication world. Wicked to see!!
Thanks man! Glad you think so!
whats going on with the triumph, i know you were having a lot of issues with it but it'd be a shame not to finish it, such a sick build idea
This has been a long time coming, I'm so excited for the new shop and its development process!
EDIT: Thanks Steven!
The fire truck should definitely have a Cummins! And the first guy you wanna contact for that project would be Rick from DEBOSS GARAGE.
ua-cam.com/users/DEBOSSGARAGEfeatured
You could make some seriously cool colabs with him on many future projects. He's basically doing his stuff in the same spirit as you guys, but from a more automotive perspective.
And he's a wizard with any engine and a well seasoned diesel mechanic with an eye for weird projects exactly like your old fire truck. He has done a ton of colabs before. I bet he would love it.
You guys are living the dream, so jealous of what you have created. Keep the your awesome content coming. Love from Down Under.
I've loved watching you work in your current shop, but the new one will be awesome! Have Merlin from "Old school garage" help you put in a 12 valve Cummins would be my vote for the fire truck.
You guys should definitely do a motorized trolley build for a longer zip line. Also, some house builds would be fun to watch and a good way to find time to get it “finished” up
Those are both great ideas!
One of my favorite videos. Always wondered about the house, all the personal touches are very cool and even the glow in the dark epoxy in the Osage orange blew me away. Like the personal info, keep up the good work guys.
Super proud of your growth! Representing North Idaho correctly. Keep killing it.
You could put the editing loft up in one of the corners and run a staircase up to it in with windows in the editing loft can look down over the garage
That’s a great idea!
The shop plans sound great! Kind of a life goal to see your builds in person. Maybe after I build my next project.
Thanks man! We appreciate the support! We are stoked too!
Nice house by the way really sweet little touches
Thank you! Glad you like it!
I live in south Jersey. We lack, the hills, snow, and open space to have what you have. I live vicariously through you. 👍
You might want to think about having the brackets for a 2 floor at the front and a gantry to pick up and place stuff on that 2 floor. The gantry can even help make the 2 floor later on. Good job keep on going having fun and giving content to the masses.
Ethan's house its just what my dream house looks like, it has random reporpossed things, not to big but not that small either, love it🔥💓
