I will tell you why black people and people of other races and colors are mad at white people.
Its not the white people its the white supremacists. No one has done more damage to other races, countries as much as white supremacists did. WW one and two, white supremacists. The only nuclear bombs thrown on people are thrown by white supremacists. Mass enslavement of black people to America, France, Britain, Holland, Spain was done by white supremacists.
No one hates other racists as much as white supremacists. No one has looted other civilizations resources, Gold, historical artifacts, arts, etc as much as white supremacists.
And let me also know why you don’t run into white supremacists everyday or maybe in your lifetime. Because they stay FAR away from other races in secluded neighborhoods that are whites only. Neighborhoods you will NEVER hear about in your life time. (Maybe you will but thats rare. They keep it on the very low).
White supremacists are obsessed with themselves and obsessed with enslaving and looking down on others. And no one has done more damage to the world than white supremacists did. The ethnic cleansing and annihilation of native americans and australian aboriginals was carried by white supremacists. They would raid a town at night KILLING everyone in it, men, elderly, women and children.
This is the dark history of white supremacists. And believe me they will do it again and again in the very first opportunity that arises, even today in this century.
White supremacists are not the white people you meet everyday. Those white people are like you and you are like them. Normal well intentioned people. White supremacists are a group on their own who don’t even mingle with other white people. They are obsessed with power, money, status, beauty and putting everyone else under them by any means available even by killing them.
And I don’t want to sound redundant but I want to say it again. White supremacists are NOT white people in general.
      Now you know.

@@user-de2wv8ri8nall the approach has really proved is - give an inch take a mile.
It's just evidencing that equity systems don't work in practice as individuals take advantage of the systems in place and abuse them - so in the next decade or so it's an argument for them all to be removed as the recipients aren't using them fairly or responsibly.
At the end of the day it really shows if you want equality then it needs to be a system of the best in society succeed, the worst fail. You can have systems in place to balance wealth inequality for example through access to additional educational resources, but beyond that people need to learn to be better in control of their own lives or simply put they won't get what they want in life. I've had mental health issues myself for 20+ years yet I've had to work on that myself as they're my issues, it's not easy but life isn't easy and people need to realize that instead of projecting their own flaws onto other groups and blaming them for your own problems.

I'm a straight white male, so of course, my opinions don't matter, but I grew up poor living in trailer parks, run down houses, and once when my mom couldn't pay rent we lived in a tent in the woods for several months before moving into an old tobacco barn we found, and then an old abandoned and condemned house without water or power. When I got old enough, I had to work to help my mom pay bills, buy my own clothes (generally from yard sales, goodwill, or at best walmart). One year, I had to walk 8 miles to work and 8 miles back regardless of the weather to make just over minimum wage, I had to quit school to help take care of my little sister so my mom could work without paying all her earnings to a daycare. After she remarried and I was able to move out, I got my GED, joined the military, and went to war in Iraq. After my service, I've been employed in factories and construction, working long hours for little pay. To buy a car, home, or basically anything beyond paying bills and buying groceries means that I have to do without in other areas, such as going long stretches only eating once a day or otherwise going days at a time without any food at all. So when I hear "white privilege" or whatever racist nonsense misconception people want to place on an entire race of people, it frustrates me because those generalizations have absolutely nothing to do with my experience, and I've met plenty of other straight white males with experiences similar to mine. Maybe the problem is too much negative talk without any meaningful solutions, maybe it's just the mob mentality of each group, maybe it's the hate and anger of previous generations being passed down, maybe people are getting their impression of white people from TV where most white people are portrayed as middle class or rich with petty problems blown out of proportion and over inflated ego's, or whatever. Regardless of the cause, hate doesn't create positive change, it just leads to yet another generation of hate and conflict. We should be punishing the individuals who do wrong, not villainizing entire groups of people.

100% by design. The ones behind the race baiting are gaining power, and they are doing it by convincing white idiots that they need to voluntarily give up the very protections this nation uniquely offers everyone-equal justice under the law that is blind to race-into believing that some races are more deserving of basic human rights than others. The explicit end goal of all of this Critical Race Theory-based nonsense is Apartheid. Where the previously “oppressed” minorities now have power over the majority, and the majority no longer has any power to object or resist. They can’t do this under our current legal framework so they are working to actively replace it, and until that can happen by “recruiting allies” who will voluntarily give up their own rights ahead of time.

Old white lady here. I was a kid in the 70's and a teen/young adult in the 80's and 90's. We watched sitcoms like Sanford and Son, The Jeffersons, Good Times, The Cosby Show, Fresh Prince of Bellaire and never thought about the color of the families in those shows. They were just funny shows. I loved watching American Bandstand and then Soul Train after Saturday morning cartoons. I loved Motown. Even the music was more uniting: Ebony and Ivory, Black or White, We Are The World and many more. I wish we could go back to those times when there wasn't a black vs white mentality. The way things were going back then, I thought any talk of race or racism would be a couple paragraphs in a history text book. It's sad how the world has changed. Keep up the good work Jojo. I like watching the world through your eyes. You are a smart young man and I love watching your videos.

Older American man here. I'm a boomer from the early 60s. And I still remember my parents talking in hushed tones about atrocities, committed against Americans BY Americans. Do you remember the Star Trek episode where the captain was forced by aliens to kiss lt Uhura (Nichelle Nichols)? I thought it a bit over-drama and meh. I found out years later that moment tied up phone networks and operators for hours, by people trying to get the show off the air. George Takei the guy who played "Sulu" part of his education was done behind barbed wire. Yes he is an American and yes he was imprisoned because of his Asian genetics (some of us, thought all of us would be safer wink, wink). These are just a couple celeb outlier notes. I'm not going to dive into the everyday, gory make-your-mother-cry stories.
I bring this all up to say the 70s were FAR kinder and gentler to our fellow Americans that have ancestors in Africa. I have lived long enough to see both sides of this coin. I say this bad penny buys nothing of value and just needs to go away. Although I am expecting worse ever since it was announced that the majority of Americans are not self identifying as "Caucasian."

Do you remember those old "I'm with Stupid" t-shirts, with the arrow pointing next to the wearer? Similar thing, only their matching shirts said "My [N-word]" and "My Cracker" respectively. Not only was there no racial tension between them, they had collectively united in buying merchandise mocking such idiotic notions. It actually brought a tear to my eye, and demonstrated an ethos that dominated during the 2000s and early 2010s... before political correctness reemerged and either strangled it out or drove it underground.

This one simple fact shows that people must be indocrinated into racism and that man is creating another generation that defines themselves by the colour of their skin. I'm 63. My parents lived through desegregation in 1950s in CA which was racist and segregated though they pretend otherwise. I lived through desegregation watching the South be desegregated. There were a lot of unhappy people about and that latent racism lasted well over a decade. Then it died down for the most part. But a while back, with racism in America practically dead with the Klan essentially gone and White Power groups dying as well, things good. But the left decided that they needed to invent new forms of racism so they could keep fighting it instead of saying 'things are pretty good now.' We have micro-racism. Inherent racism (but only White people). Structural racism. Legacy racism (you know, you great-great grandparents were racist so you are too...).

To my understanding, and this isn't a hot take of mine it's something I heard years ago that seems more and more likely considering the institutional support of this outcome, people were uniting around the reality of class/wealth disparity in the early 2000's and starting to question the 1% - so race became a major focus to divide and conquer, subverting that movement. A distraction to preserve hidden power structures, that those within these positions could safely formulate and ignore. It's why now you can get millionaire black peeps insisting that poor white peeps are more privileged - because the reality of class became invisible, as intended. Meanwhile, we all get poorer as we are subjected to greater control - we're too busy looking at our unchangeable characteristics instead of working to overcome the important challenges we all face. This tells me that media and focus on image/consumerism are noise to obfuscate Truth and destroy Community.

On the contrary, the region of West Africa from which Kunte Kinte supposedly came was one of the great slave-trading regions of the continent-before, during, and after the white man arrived. It was the Africans who enslaved their fellow Africans, selling some of these slaves to Europeans or to Arabs and keeping others for themselves. Even at the peak of the Atlantic slave trade, Africans retained more slaves for themselves than they sent to the Western Hemisphere.”

While yes, Africans (black/dark skinned) enslaved others of their own “kind” what is just… absolutely flooring to me is that black, white, pink, purple, whatever skin color, _don’t know where the word ‘slave’ came from. It came from “Slav” because the Slavic people were constantly conquered and at war with places throughout all of Europe. The Slavs were also considered the most prized of “human goods.” They were sold across Europe, Africa, and Asia.
And I have yet to meet an American who was born here who knows that/the proper history (I had to learn it by a good friend who mentioned it in passing and I immediately dug into the etymology and history-historian by trade before that got semi-erased.)

This entire open racism is sad, I've noticed on youtube when people want to "research" to validate their behaviour they won't dig deep into it unless it validates them, but if they find someone who argues against them that knows their history the personal easily can pick apart their racist viewed argument.
This also goes with other recent controversial topics that is going on all over the world, people will blindly support a view with little to no real understanding and get their friends involved making that their "personality" because its the day of these people were probably told "you can never be or do wrong, you are perfect" and always had validation even when they did wrong things. (probably)
I really hope the world actually wakes up and go "this is NOT the way" so we can all continue living together without wondering "Am I going to offend someone and be labelled as whatever for no reason?"
Im only in my early 30s and I remember my primary and high school telling us "any type of racism is bad, you do it you're sent to the headmasters with it on your record and a letter and phone call home." It did not matter who was behaving poorly it was "if you behave like this, we will do what we told you we will do." Those who dared quickly learnt and never acted that way again.

To the people who use the racial slurs for white people, I only have one thing to say. Be more creative. Come on you can do better than that. I have not heard a single slur for whites that has actually offended me. If your going to be racist at least be good at it, come on.

Honestly, it really gets me how people try to drive a wedge between everyone. Everything is not a racist slight. Take micro aggressions, I’ve heard so many Black people say white people are using micro aggression against them, asking them about their hair, how they brush their hair, is it hard to take care of, etc. Literally my daughter is totally white and has very curly hair, and people have been doing that to her her whole life. Random strangers will walk up to her and pull on her curls or say oh what beautiful hair you have and touch it. Made fun of her or asked her to brush her hair. It’s not a thing, it’s just a rude thing. Also, like the example of black families have to tell their kids to act a certain way or cops will hurt them. My white parents, each from different backgrounds, my mom is from the city, and my dad is from the country, taught us growing up that when we get pulled over, we need to act as respectful as possible. That being a police officer is a super high stressed job, and there is the possibility to get hurt if you are acting in a ridiculous way. My parents status that if you run from the cops, they are going to assume you are guilty of something. they taught us that if you hang out with or act like criminals, you’re gonna be treated like a criminal. And they taught us if you were aggressive towards a cop you are likely going to get hurt. This isn’t a race thing, it’s a common sense thing.

Dawg your reassurance after looking at those comments is majorly appreciated! I didn’t even realize how I was already internalizing it. I mainly just can’t even understand how someone could hate another like that. It’s everywhere too, it’s like I can’t even go on social media without feeling hated and I feel like I’m just realizing how often I am hated based off everything that doesn’t define ME as an individual. Hope you have a good day man and again thank you for being a good creator and looking out for your viewers with that reassurance :)

The woman complaining about walking clearly doesn’t see everyone else being knocked into, or just doesn’t want to. It happens.
That first man is like the female college professor (whom I have to admit I don’t know how she got that position judging by her verbiage) going on a YT out of control rant and claiming all white people WILL BE extinguished. Don’t remember her exact words but that was the meaning. This is what college students are being taught. I never looked at anyone’s skin color until I started feeling threatened. Not long ago, I was walking at the park, said hello to four women in their early 20’s sitting on a picnic bench. If I did not have three dogs with me (two being quite large) I know for a fact at least one of them would have attacked me. She had such hatred in her eyes and on her face, it was very scary. This rhetoric has destroyed the forward steps and taken us back 60 years. It’s very sad.

i had a teacher in art college who hated anything straight, white, or male, and if you were all three then she would give you a lower grade to take you down a peg and show you what its like to be a bi colombian woman. that class was tedious and i only got dinged for being half white with a straight white male father.
this all happened around 2019 2020 and was quite shocking.

Wow... I wonder if I accidentally ran into that "won't step aside" lady, or one of her type. Some lady ran into me hard on a sidewalk. She was probably just a little over 5 feet tall and she almost ended up on the ground, caught herself on one hand. I'm 6'5, about 280lbs, and wasn't really affected by it. I think that pissed her off more than anything. But I made sure to be over-the-top nice about it, tried to help her up, made sure she knew I wasn't hurt in the slightest. Physics FTW,.

Just a little clarification for everyone but especially for the lady who complains about city , density of the city is 27,013 people for square mile . It’s not a race issue , it’s the city !! I am from upstate NY and go to city very often. It’s the dynamic of the city , you walk in fast phase , to reach your destination especially if you are not just visiting but living there they dont care what is coming on their way lol , turning this to race issue , Newyorkers are laughing right now

Your desire for knowledge, willingness to listen to various view points/opinions is so refreshing! Absolutely love seeing young adults desire education, critical thinking and making conclusions based on facts not just emotions... it gives me hope. As a mother of college students I worry about media and society pressure pushing them to allow others to do their thinking for them instead of asking questions, debating, investigating, reading numerous studies and coming to their own decisions and/or thoughts.
I love watching you talk about things going on in the world today and how you think about it. Thanks for the wholesome healthy content you provide even if discussing some very sad, disappointing topics many people seem to believe in.
