I haven't decided on how to go about 2.0/Phantom. I sunk in 130+ hrs in when this game came out, beat it, beat most of everything else sans clearing each district before I put it down. Not only have I not played it for 2 years. I know my original build is nuked hardcore. I was a heavy stealth/netrunner and 90% of my hacks are much different now than then. So I'm wondering if I should just start a fresh char. Only problem being. I don't feel like sinking in obscene amounts of time to feel the changes to endgame content vs before. Not just see the new content with Phantom. But on the other hand, it almost feels like a fresh char is the right move given the game I played 2 years ago, is not going to be the game I play later this month. lol
Even if this is the best dlc/update a game has ever received that won’t change the fact that the game was awful at launch, however, cd project red still deserve the praise for not just abandoning the game and moving on to the next.

Thx for the informations :) But i have a question: would it be a good idea to start a new run before the Dlc? How much the Dlc change the game? I know the changes but the idea was to start a new run till half of the game before Phantom Liberty comes out. Its a good idea or better wait it comes out?
@@cowel8734You can. You unlock the ability to start the DLC after your encounter with the Voodoo Boys on any save as long as you have the Phantom Liberty.

When should I buy the base game and DCL bundle for PC? wait for holiday sale or just buy when released? I don't mind waiting as I already played through the base game on console.
Well depends how eager you are to play it, If it goes on sale, might be looking at 15 to 25% off on the bundle come xmas, but due to the new content it wont have like any super big deal or at least i find it unlikely, its already 8% off at least, so i mean, if you dont have much else to play it would tide you over till xmas or whatever else you are waiting for i guess heh.
I didn't finish the campaign yet, and seeing this makes me want to restart it again, might not be getting phantom liberty YET until I'm done with base game.
i just want new appearance customization stuff. expand clothing, cyberware, hairstyles etc to include the inaccessible stuff we see on npcs. that stuff should never have been mod-reliant.
Any word on the game having some missions and storylines locked out? I was in the middle of the final run and judy missions glitched out. Also ncpd missions in watson aren't giving the items.
My biggest question... did they overhaul tech at all? Because it was lacking. New trees are up on the website for builds. Tech is all about Cyberware and Tech guns now with a few other unique abilities. No more crafting in it, I see.
that's fine, the crafting/upgrade system was such an obviously shoehorned in afterthought. you spend a ton of money and components upgrading a weapon to your level, and then 5 minutes later a random enemy drops something much better or you can find better stuff in the handful of shops. i don't know who's bright idea it was to stock legendaries in the shops, those things should only be boss rewards or well hidden in the world, but don't get them too early because their stats are bound to your level at the time, so you wind up shooting yourself in the foot if you get em as soon as you can. in this way the game effectively punishes the player for early exploration of the city.
I just want them to give Red Engine to the modding scene. That's literally all I want after all of this. Please CDPR. Be cool.

I am not sure about urging to pre-order considering how well it turned out for people last time with CDPR
But on the other hand, it almost feels like a fresh char is the right move given the game I played 2 years ago, is not going to be the game I play later this month.
lol
Keep your old character. Apparently they’re going to add a thing where you can just respec all your attribute points
Even if this is the best dlc/update a game has ever received that won’t change the fact that the game was awful at launch, however, cd project red still deserve the praise for not just abandoning the game and moving on to the next.
Any news on a NG+ or are we all starting Fresh Games?
still no flashlight?
We can only hope it will be added as a mod.
God i hope so i've been carrying a sniper rifle with the night vision scope on as an alternative for too long ! 😂
I'm glad it looks like they watched the fan videos of playstyles and figured out how to make it even cooler.
Dude when I saw the jacket change at first I was like cool spy tech. But then I just realized, what if that’s just how transmogring looks like when you are out in NC and you change your outfit? Also cool lol
Please tell me you can finally reset your skills and attributes and built new builds without needing to restart a new save
Yes one of my favorite artists finally made it into the soundtrack blue stahli shame that his mentor aka the one and only celldweller isn't
Thx for the informations :) But i have a question: would it be a good idea to start a new run before the Dlc? How much the Dlc change the game? I know the changes but the idea was to start a new run till half of the game before Phantom Liberty comes out. Its a good idea or better wait it comes out?
I've wondered this too. I wonder if you can start Phantom Liberty with an already leveled up character
@@cowel8734You can. You unlock the ability to start the DLC after your encounter with the Voodoo Boys on any save as long as you have the Phantom Liberty.
@@sponge73 Thats great to hear! Thanks for the info. I tried looking it up but never found an answer
@@sponge73 yeah, but what will i miss in the regular game, if i dont start with the dlc?
@@teffile69 You can't start the expansion until you get to a certain point in the main story. I'm not sure what you're asking though.
the showed gameplay of the new classes is the best. it looks like my grandpa is playing the game.
are the mantis blades affected by the perk that you put in the blades tree(deflecting bullets, executions, etc)?.
I'm not 100% but i thought i did see the mantis blades perform a deflect in one of the gameplay videos as i am curious about this too ! On a side note tho i looked over the build planner and i've always chosen or left out certain perks to make it as realistic as possible so i'm glad i can choose the deflect perk while leaving out the perk that has them deflected back and damage the enemy.
I didn’t know that 2.0 was coming before the dlc! I’m so excited!
Welp looks like I better make a new save. This is what I've been waiting for that didn't even know I wanted.
I didn't finish the campaign yet, and seeing this makes me want to restart it again, might not be getting phantom liberty YET until I'm done with base game.
Can't believe nobody see the Doomfist reference :D
i just want new appearance customization stuff. expand clothing, cyberware, hairstyles etc to include the inaccessible stuff we see on npcs. that stuff should never have been mod-reliant.
Performance really is the same? Does that mean those who were able to play then at minimum will still be able to play when 2.0 comes?
maybe they did up the system requirements for the game so if i was you i would look into it
Any word on the game having some missions and storylines locked out? I was in the middle of the final run and judy missions glitched out. Also ncpd missions in watson aren't giving the items.
Still no Morgan Blackhand? :c
What a month for gaming, BG3, Starfield, Phantom liberty. Bro I don't have enough time anymore.
It was revealed somewhere I don't remember that crafting isn't tied to skill at all now
8:25 basically Genji from Overwatch
..she betrayed him like that..confirms that I'm not listening to her at all.
haven't played since launch. excited to get back to it.
Is the new skill tree out
Great video, Juice!
