My thoughts exactly. Clearly different people make these lists, but they should keep minimal consistency, because I was starting to feel like Outlaws might be worth it, only to hear this now again.
A disappointment would suggest looking forward to a product only to be let down by release? I don't think concord and suicide squad qualify, as we knew they would be trash way before release.
I'm 50 50 on sucide squad kills, the Justice League. I didn't absolutely hate it, but I didn't completely love it. Some aspects are overhated but some I understand
Silent hill: a short message was fine, i cant believe its on this list. Its free, it did its job, and while not fantastic you cant call it a disappointment because its a free first shot at a modern version of the psychological aspects that made the originals so good.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard (still a good game) Dragon's Dogma 2 (still a good game) Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Star Wars: Outlaws Call of Duty: Black Ops 6
I remember when everyone was hellblade was going to be the savior of the Xbox series X and would put Microsoft back on equal footing with Sony, but that seems to be the speech everytime a Xbox 1st party title is released and everytime there meh or a out right disappointment.
The short message was not that bad. Ot had really cool moments but the suicide in your face every five second lost ots impact. I believe something could be made out of it.
Its mediocrity makes sense as they had to retool a live-service game after the Anthem debacle. It’s definitely disappointing though and it was almost so much worse.
@@bricktop. I played it for about 20 hours before setting it aside. I liked it at first, but it felt like game design from 10+ years ago, the graphics were underwhelming (not always a negative for me), and I didn't click with the combat.
@@thetrueknight It was weird for me too. I haven't played the Nioh games, but really liked Wo Long. I think my issue was I wanted this to have more of Sekiro's combat, but it didn't. So it's probably more of a me issue than anything wrong with the game lol.
@ yeah that’s understandable, I loved the combat after it clicked with me but it took a while to get used to the timing on the countersparks, and I have been dying for a new nioh-like game so that’s probably why I liked it, though I still have to finish wo long lol.

Why is Star Wars: Outlaws on both the most disappointing and the best games of 2024?
My thoughts exactly. Clearly different people make these lists, but they should keep minimal consistency, because I was starting to feel like Outlaws might be worth it, only to hear this now again.

“Your decisions impact how the game will play” is the biggest lie the gaming industry ever told.
I'm 50 50 on sucide squad kills, the Justice League. I didn't absolutely hate it, but I didn't completely love it. Some aspects are overhated but some I understand
So in short, it was a disappointment
I loved Hellblade and Open Roads. Rest of the list is pretty accurate though
Were Concord or Suicide Squad disappointing? Expectations were already low. I don't think anyone expected those games to be remotely good.
And you are wrong
@@tyleroutland435 Both dead games, cope buddy.
@@tyleroutland435 And you are delusional.
@justsomeguy9073 you are wrong I don't care about Concord
@@justsomeguy9073 sucide squad got unnecessary hate in some aspects
How did Concord not beat Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League
No one had expectations for it lol
Disappointing is the list not terrible lol
People were hype for a new game in the Arkham verse. No one wanted concord
I think X Defiant was the biggest one of the never caring before it came out group for me.
Failguard
13:00 Is there a game somewhere beneath that ghastly, cluttered UI ?
Leave it to JB to call something dead before even seeing it. This dude must have one hell of an imagination.
Live service this..... Live service that..... Hmm I sense a pattern emerging.

I didn't even finish the short message due to how incredibly cheap and poorly designed that final chase sequence was
Outlaws is a damn good game, that new Mario and Luigi game should've been on the list instead.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard (still a good game)
Dragon's Dogma 2 (still a good game)
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League
Star Wars: Outlaws
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6
With so many to choose from, it must of been difficult to make the list.
After the trailer,I didn't expected nothing of suicide squad
feels bad for # 1. they finally decide to give it offline play at the very end of its lifespan.
I thought outlaws was respectable with so many first attempts for both Star Wars and Ubisoft in one game
I really enjoyed it tbh, the Wild Card DLC was crap though.
These games are pretty clear why they are here but for me it’s they were all either boring repetitive or didn’t do anything with the concept they made
Didn’t you guys just list Outlaws in your best games of 2024 video? And now it’s in your “most disappointing” list? So which is it?
I remember when everyone was hellblade was going to be the savior of the Xbox series X and would put Microsoft back on equal footing with Sony, but that seems to be the speech everytime a Xbox 1st party title is released and everytime there meh or a out right disappointment.
How was Veilguard not on this list?
It can't be disappointing if it's as awful as everyone knew it would be.
Because it wasn't disappointing.
I was one of the fools pre-ordering Suicide Squad, because I love the Arkham games
SS was NOT an Arkham game
Careful what you wish for. Wonder women is still coming out. You’ll get a game, just possiblely not in the form you want.
ONIMUSHA IS COMING BACK!
what about my life game you are playing?
Veilguard should be on the list.
Did you play the game?
The short message was not that bad. Ot had really cool moments but the suicide in your face every five second lost ots impact. I believe something could be made out of it.
Dragon Age: Veilguard.
Same, made a stain on the franchise.
😂😂 have you even played the game LOL?
They haven't lol @@eddiecoker4808

Most likely haven’t played it.. just following what everyone else is commenting.
Good list 🎮👏 thanks
PlayStation store plus extra god of war Uncharted 5 2025 gratuit 😅
Only 8?
I love sark
I suppose veilguard isn't here as people weren't disappointed upon release since they'd given up hope months in advance.
😢
I love Star Wars Outlaws it got unnecessary hate and the pathetic haters are wrong
I'm just gonna slot Life is Strange: Double Exposure in here as a dishonorable Entry #9, lol.
True colors released in 2021 and easily top 2 in the series lmao.
@Dr.Bong420 Oh, right. I meant Double Exposure, but had a brain fart, lmao. True Colors is pretty solid.
@@SpanishFly120 I can agree there, double exposure could definitely be on here.
Hellblade was amazing
I hate when no one puts elden ring on these lists. The DLC was a major letdown and completely boring
Ok then....
Haven’t played elden ring and I don’t even like souls-like games and even I know that is a objectively wrong take
@@Son.D.Lollipop 😆
@Son.D.Lollipop I have 800 hours in the game and it's just boring, the dlc did nothing to make me enjoy playing
@@bigtort guess all those other people must be wrong....
Power Rangers and Tetris Forever. 💩🚽

Rise of the Ronin was a big disappointment for me.
I only played the demo form the ps store and it was so underwhelming that all thoughts of a full purchase went out the window.
