Evening friendos, hope you enjoy! Let me know down in the comments if there are any characters you think should return in Halo Infinite who haven't been present for a few games, or in any game for that matter! Enjoy
I’m gonna be very salty if we don’t get an offhanded line about a burnt helmet lying among the ashes of the glassed planet Blue Team are traversing in Shadows of Reach
Yeah, rumors and hints about the Spartan II's backstory leaking past the ONI censors would be amazing. Heck, one of blue team using the "Olly, Olly, Oxenfree" whistle/signal in a poignant moment would be amazing. One of blue team having a heart-to-heart with Halsey after all these years would also be fantastic, even if it isn't chief. If I remember correctly, Halsey is one of the few people that SII's ever open up to emotionally. Demonstrating that fact, perhaps using some of the lines that Cortana quoted in the opening of Halo 3 to do it, would be absolutely phenomenal.
Theoretically, when Jorge activated the slipspace drive, he teleported to a random set of coordinates along with the ships he was on. If he got through the covenant on the ship, (which he probably could, involuntary slipspace teleportation is pretty surprising) he could hold out long enough to send out a distress beacon. Even if it’s unlikely, it’s still more likely than Cortana in Halo 5.
Jorge would probably be dead within a couple seconds of the jump due to him being exposed to space without a helmet. Unless I'm magically wrong the close proximity to a slipspace portal opening would kill him or the shields blocking him from "breathing" in space would not be powered due to being cut from their power source. Assuming the ships engines are located in the back by the thrusters.
@@Lastashio Jorge wasn't on the supercarrier though. The Corvette he was on was fully encompassed by the event horizon of the portal, so it's possible that it just popped out wherever fully intact.
ThatChuckwagonGuy not really because if something with insufficient shields, (the chunk of supercarrier) were to go into slipspace, it would be crushed into itself and spaghettified much like a black hole. So yeah, Jorge is gone
Andrew Iorio uhm that doesn't makes sense, unsc ships aren't shielded and they can use slip space just fine, not only so, we saw the In Amber Clad hitch hike on a covenant slipspace field, and ho out normally. Not only so, we see banshees slips space in in reach constantly, so yeah, whatever you get that from, it's not true.
Yeah... Really hope they actually tell us who/what brought the SoF to the Ark at some point, in HW2's intro they made it seem like it was going to be a big plot point but it was just forgotten immediately after
@@HiddenXperia Considering the banished are likely to be in infinite, we might find out. Let's hope they can do this whilst keeping it "a jumping on point"
In Halo 2, Mendicant held Truth's Dreadnought in High Charity long enough for the Chief to get aboard and slowed down the destruction of Installation 00 in Halo 3 so the Chief could escape. Mendicant could be worked in.
Xperia: and we could have been playing the demo by now Me: sees the scene when the marine pilot cries a solitary tear at the same time. Me: *Acts as arbiter* Interesting
The only thing as bad if not worse than Arby and Chief's reunion being in a book is Jun becoming the lead Spartan-IV recruiter in a book and yet never has even his mere existence so much as hinted at in Halo 4 or 5.
Imagine this: It's revealed the Sangheili have been struggling in the time between 5 and Infinite and their irukan has run out. Quite a few keeps have chosen to go over to Cortana out of desperation. The camera switches to Arbiter, who is obviously becoming demoralized over these occurrences. Despite being informed that the Swords are making headway against the Created, he is still demoralized. Then Rtas comes in and gives a Cutter-style speech to Arbiter and the Swords, uplifting everyone's spirits. With newfound strength, the Arbiter gets up. No one knows what he's about to do. He walks to a hatch and looks back to everyone. "You are right." The hatch opens to reveal the Arbiter's silver armor from Halo 2 and 3. He removes his gold helmet from Halo 5 and puts on the silver helmet. He turns back to the group gathered around him. "What would you have your Arbiter do?"
I agree with putting the silent shadow's in Halo infinite's campaign they would have a bad ass boss battle or encounter just imaging is gonna be AWESOME
I hope there'll be atleast between 1 to 3 levels we actually play as The Arbiter (like Halo 2), in Infinite, that is one of the reasons Halo 2 is my favorite in the series
This is a very weird thing from my childhood of halo. My brothers and I called the elites "chicken fighters" because of their weird looking chicken legs. Even now we still call them that

maybe we can take blue team with us in like missions where we want to liek imagine a main area like a batcave-ish area and then we can go up to the blue team and add them to our fireteam like the marines in reach
If Blue Team does get missions, I want cutscenes where Fred takes charge. He does hold the rank of Lieutenant Jr. Grade, making him Blue Team's highest ranking member. I know he defers command to John, but still.
@@andrewhodgson2566 I'm aware of his rank, but Master Chief Petty Officer is the max rank for Enlisted. Lieutenant Jr. Grade is an Officer rank, and Officers outrank Enlisted. John is only in command because that's what Fred is used to. He still outranks him.
As much as I like him and would like the younger generation to experience a badass, how would he return? Because it can't just be fan service since that would make most of the community a hypocrite because people didn't like how Cortana just returned.
I’m a little disappointed, man. If anyone should make a return in Halo Infinite...it’s the Main Marine, himself. The man, the myth, the legend...Chips Dubbo
I can’t believe everyone’s just forgetting about Infinity Comms that guy was easily the most important character in Halo 5. (shoutout to ActMan’s H5 review)
All jokes aside though I definitely would want noble 6 at least mentioned in some way in infinite considering his skill were comparable to the chief when he was alive
Actually, no, if going in detail, not at all. John spent a lot of his time going balls deep, or leading a squad, being a leader (as in he literally decided to be last in the pelican part of the training, knowing the consequence). However, Noble 6 was a great assassin/marksman, and also a pilot. Breaking this down, because I don't want to type an essay on them yet, basically, Chief *mostly* was experienced in fighting enemies that were of massive concern and lethality, and threat -- the Covenant. Noble Six's history tends to reflect on him being primarily against insurgents, which, if taking into account insurgent technology, is light work compared to fighting the Covenant. I'd argue one relied on manipulating senses (Noble Six) vs Running in gunning, etc... I could be wrong, please correct me where I am wrong if I am.
@@bamicinder7635 im fairly sure he was referencing the fact that 6 and chief both have "hyper lethal" status and are the only ones to ever attain said status
@@bamicinder7635 noble 6 actually had the genetic disposition to undergo the spartan II program instead of the spartan III which was why he was pulled out midway for extremely rigorous training conducted by a spartan II with spartan II tactics and experience, training which was said to surpass even masterchief's and the rest of the spartan IIs
Let’s admit that cheif and mobile 6 are both crazy sychos when it comes to killing the enemy I mean mobile 6 took out a whole elite ship bye himself and was possibly a head hunter and cheif blew up a covemet ship by himself as well kinda
@@bamicinder7635 well it could've been both for Six, considering he was put on the team in Operation Torpedo, yet pulled out last minute by an ONI directive, he also lived fighting an entire covenant fleet by himself on reach for 4 hours, no backup, just leftover weapons and his courage. Which is such a badass way to go out fighting the entire covenant alone on Reach till you finally get taken out while fighting 2 zealots, a field general, and a Marshal all by yourself simultaneously
I just want Arby and Chief to have a solid reunion moment. Like “hey man I missed you. It’s good to see you’re alive and well”. Something to that affect. Especially from Chief. And they shake hands.
@@Boom__6678 Maybe you need to read Silent Storm then. Johnson taught Chief a lot and they knew each other for a very long time. John hasn't seen Mendez for a very long time.
@@0121D0ONE So? Not seeing your father for a long time doesn't make him not your father. Mendez still basically raised him and taught him to be a Spartan alongside Halsey. He was *the* male authority figure in Chief's formative years and taught him all the essentials. That's a father figure and, no matter how you slice it, supersedes whatever influence Johnson had on him later on. Without Mendez, Chief doesn't become Chief. Period.
when hidden sees the silent shadow and lasky is in halo infinite: oh wow this is amazing did they listen to me? Lasky gets killed by a silent shadow Hidden: wait that's illegal
What I think would be cool is one of the silent shadow is actually secretly a human sympathizer, and saves Lasky from a Banished brute chieftain or something.
Just keep it as the OG helmet so it’s a nod to him at least, or copy the armour from the players OG Reach and place it in that location with his body metres away.
He 's prob not gonna be in the game because I think i heard he's not cannon from somewhere though I forgot where but it would be really cool if his was in the game.
I think it’d be best, if they were to make an actual Movie for Halo, that they make it animated and use Blur studios to animate it. Only way it lives up to expectations imo.
I use a lot of vpns and one of those is coincidentally the sponsor of this comment, nord vpn, nord vpn will keep you protected in the internet because wanting or not the internet is a dangerous place, and j am not a boomer for saying that, with nord vpn you can appear like you are in other places and have access to content that isn't allowed in your region
@@Wi11D Yeah, the bastard took down multiple Brute CHIEFTANS and their back-up SOLO and that's not even mentioning the hunters, so the fact that he wasn't even given the honor of being killed on-screen is bullshit.
Bro just imagine chief gets kidnapped at the end of a mission and you know he's pretty much fucked, it cuts to nothing, then it fades from black, you hear hefty footsteps and it reveals arby's stumpy ass foot at the top of a cliff. All the sudden your like oh shit, and it goes from the cutscene to first person view and your now the arbiter having to save chief for a mission. Even if it was one level that would be so fucking epic. Sorry I'm kinda drunk but I think that'd be dope lol.
While the overall shape of Arbiter’s armor in H5 was bad and shouldn’t come back, I really liked the patterns and designs that were embedded on the surface of the armor. It would be awesome if Infinite gave him his H2 & 3 armor with the patterns from the H5 armor.
I see a lot of hit and miss with the reclaimer saga elite armour. Some elite armour and features are total shit compared to earlier designs, whereas other armour and features can even go above and beyond earlier designs. I feel that the main thing that really claws at the newer designs is that they are too smooth. None of them are too flashy, but then when they do become flashy it is in this odd, round, smooth look that doesnt work. However, take an armour like the H4 zealot, or even the lower/mouth part of H5 Arby's helmet. These armours and features work surprisingly well, and in my opinion are even better than those seen in previous games. What I hope for is for the best of both worlds. Some part of H5 Arby should stay. The arms, the mouthpiece, the overall torso. Other parts of H5 Arby need to go. The top of the helmet, the weird lump on the back, the off-brass colour
hell yeah. Have him replace Tanaka or some shit like that. Tbh, i feel like Tanaka is the worst one on Osiris, because in my experience she always had the worst AI.
If they do go back to Reach though, they should land at the dockyards and have an option to explore around and find Six’s helmet, and maybe give him a little homage even though they might not know who he was. “Rest well”
@@fishethos I think I remember checking up on the creator once last year and he was still making content. More like movie reviews, but it was still nice to know that he was out there.
Alright, my thoughts blow for blow. Be warned, spoilers for the list below: For Noble Six, I feel he should still be in there as a tribute line. Have Linda notice it and say, "Hey Chief, remember this guy?", and have Chief have this kinda bittersweet, "He's the one who got us (Pillar of Autumn/Chief/Cortana) off Reach," or something to that end. Just a cool little line to show that Six didn't just die forgotten to all but a handful of people who knew about the plan. For Lasky, I loved Lasky in 4, and I hope he comes back. That talk he has with Chief hit me square in the feels when I first heard it, and I love the idea of a younger soldier imparting some wisdom into a grizzled child soldier who's been fighting twice as long as Lasky's been alive. Not to mention that Lasky is a capable soldier, who could even provide us some field support. You can watch in the video as he just runs up to a knight and hits it with a leaping horizontal buttstroke. Lasky would be a solid addition to our line-up. Blue Team, oh Blue Team, what did they do to you? I agree beat for beat on your suggestion to use them sparingly. But yeah, they were most definitely Chief's family, and they've been on countless missions together. I hope we get some callbacks to their past where Chief gets injured/trapped and tells them to leave him behind, but they free him and just tell him "We're not losing you like we lost Sam,". Halo 5 did to Blue Team what Berserk (2016-2017) did to Berserk. It was an atrocious representation. I distinctly remember in Halo: Legends when Fred faces down a squad of elites with nothing but two knives and just stares them down saying, "Alright. The Great Journey ENDS HERE,". Not to mention Kelly just flat out blitzing past Chief in the latter part of their sprint, and Chief's documented at hitting 60mph. Then there's Linda in one of the books LITERALLY sniping banshee pilots directly. Linda has the skill to put a sniper shot in the minute gaps of a Banshee while it's flying. One of her AI interfaces is just a 26th century aimbot - change my mind. Silent Shadow, a group I'm curious to see how they're implemented, given they're specialized in stealth. That would be really cool if Chief all of a sudden gets a bad feeling as he's on a mission, and then gets ambushed in a small chokepoint with a lot of close-knit cover/concealment to have them dash in and out of. I loved them in the Headhunter short, and I think it would be cool to have a cinematic style boss fight, alternating between them using hit and run tactics and mocking Chief, before a rainstorm comes through and has them silhouetted by the raindrops. Something like that would be amazing. Chief fighting the Sangheili version of ninjas, only able to see them through rain-outlined silhouettes. Rtas Vadum, the one who considers 3 to 1 an even fight. I thought he was an okay character, but I don't know much about him. So, this is likely going to be my shortest one. Don't know much about him, but it would be cool to see a familiar elite face. The Primordial, my god, I was not expecting this one. I do hope to see some sort of callback to some older lines from Halo 2-3, or maybe even a reference to Halo 1. How creepy would it be to walk through a flood hallway and hear the walls whispering "Keyes, Jacob, Captain, Service Number..." and "This is not your grave, but you are welcome in it," I would love to see the flood play a bit of mind games with all the knowledge it has collected, along with its memory of Chief. Maybe even have the Flood try to capture Cortana again, now that she has an entire network of AI to infect. The Primordial could make Cortana the Mendicant Bias 2.0, which is quite a terrifying thought, given her command of the Guardians, and our own lack of any equivalent force. Next up, Old Mendy himself. Mendicant Bias would actually be a bit of a tonal fit for Infinite, just because of the current AI threat. I would love to see Mendicant serve as the Crucible for Cortana's redemption. I want Mendicant to appear part-way through the game and just start tearing sh** up, especially towards Cortana. Have Cortana see what a Domain AI with the Logic Plague is like, or maybe even show that that's what happened to Cortana. She may have dodged Rampancy, but she sidestepped right into the Logic Plague, given that (from what I gathered from the Halo 3 terminals) Mendicant Bias is still within the Domain, and could have somehow transmitted it to Cortana. Somehow. Not sure how LP works, but it's a thought that came to mind. Edit: Now that my memory's been jogged that Mendicant is trying to help us, it would be very interesting to see Mendicant and Cortana go head-to-head, old god vs new prophet. I personally would love to see Mendicant as a supporting ally, more than a background puppetmaster. And last but certainly not least, Arby. Oh, you beautiful Sangheili bastard, you. I agree with you here, that not showing their reunion is Heresy worthy of being hung by your entrails and having your corpse paraded throughout the city. I would've loved a scene of Chief stepping up to Arbiter and saluting with a simple greeting of, "Arbiter". With Arbiter holding out a hand for a handshake and just replying with "Spartan", and the two shake hands. Chief greets Arbiter, as soldiers, the only life he's known, while Arbiter greets him as a friend, even when Chief caused him this suffering and demotion. A true respect for each other. They're basically space best buddies. We need that sense of Elite-Human brotherhood again. Hell, I would love to see Blue Team roll up to a place and see Arbiter fighting against the Banished, and just have the five of them completely turn the tide and send the Banished running for their lives in less than a minute of their arrival. Linda popping people off from a distance, Kelly bolting around the battle like a coke-fueled super-rabbit, Fred cutting baddies up so nicely it'd make an anime protagonist jealous, Arbiter taking guys out left and right with a plasma rifle in one hand, and an Energy sword in the other, and Chief just tearin' through with his AR tried and true. 343 has so much to work with for Arby, and they just... don't capitalize on it. Well, that concludes my thoughts. TL:DR - Solid list, with Blue Team and Arbiter being MUST SEE candidates.
@@ewanayres9576 halo 4 actually makes sense halo 5 doesn't. The thing that doesn't make sense is that in halo 4 Didact has biological form of logic plague but it isnt mentioned anywhere in game. Also they could just say that some how domain or something inside it corrupted cortana or is just saying that its her when actually its something else.
Shadow Guardian That was probably just tacked on to explain why the Didact was locked away and why he was so evil and illogical (really, what was his plan after Composing all of humanity? Not like he can reproduce with any Forerunners to restart the Forerunner Empire).
I want Sgt Stacker back he's the closest replacement to Sgt Johnson. He was in every game except 5 and Wars/2 and was recognizable enough to have a firefight voice in Reach. Also there's more than just elites and grunts that follow the Arbiter show them.
In Infinite I want to fight with marines as chief. What I love is their reaction when they see you and say stuff like “No way a spartan!” or “When I asked for backup, I didn’t think they’d send a spartan.” It makes you feel special and I’ve missed that feeling from the games.
Id love to see Jerome and red tram show up at some point. I'm not a huge fan of Halo wars but I've always loved Jerome. Also, being able to find Noble 6s helmet would be sweet. Him being alive would ruin Halo Rrach, despite him being my most favorite character in any halo game I've played.
"Hrrrrnngh! Supreme Commander! I'm trying to Hunt the Demon, but I'm dummy thicc and the squeaking of my undersuit keeps alerting the Humans." - Zuka 'Zamamee (September 21st, 2552)
I doubt it would work all too well but Blue team could be treated like the Arbiter was in Halo 3. During single-player they would only be part of certain missions but each co-op player would fill in one of them on the team through the game
7:10 I'd handle it as a combination of Reach and Halo 3, eg: have some missions with all, some and none of them (such as a sniper centric mission with Linda) and make them playable in coop like Arbiter, N'tho and Usze.
Jun and Fredrick might be confirmed from mega construx cause you have this figure that appears to look like jun with the banished banshee (not to mention the dialogue in halo infinite flight test with the shooting range “Jun him self would be proud”) and you have Fredrick taking on a banished chopper
Honestly? I've made my peace with it, so when he was like "prepare to get angry", I was pretty much preparing myself for the worst; a delay of the game or something else like that, so it was actually a relief when he said E3 was supposed to have been last week (or whenever he said it was).
I would love a Republic Commando style Halo game. Occasionally Boss would be alone, or only with 1 teammate, but sometimes you’d have epic fire fights issuing commands to snipe, revive others, man grenade positions, or slicing into terminals.
@@BiomechanicalBrick Such a shame. People aren't complaining about how complex it was, people are complaining about how poor the writing was and how bad they messed up on the execution of good ideas
I would love to see Blue Team appear in Infinite, and I honestly think they will. Possibly Fireteam Osiris as well, as I felt they had potential. The problem with 5's depiction of these characters (both the old established and brand new) was that they didn't give them any depth. Just look at Buck, he went from this wise-crack but ultimately very caring and pretty damn serious character carrying his own burdens in ODST... into the wise-crack "just there for comedy" character of Osiris. They really missed the fact that anyone who knew this character would know serious he could be when it comes to those he cares about. As for Blue Team, it kind of felt like 5 just assumed we'd know all about them so didn't bother to actually give them more than a handful of lines of dialogue. It was a real disservice to the characters, demoting them to essentially just invincible marines... hell, I'm sure even the generic marines had more personality than Blue Team shown in this game. If you want a good example of how to write a SQUAD for a videogame, look at Star Wars Republic Commando. The characters are (ironically enough) clones of one another in the sense that they all share the same skillset and capabilities... yet the way they are portrayed in dialogue makes it seem like each has their specialty (which was intended originally). The reason they have this personality is that they talk to each other during gameplay, small bits of dialogue like comparing kill-counts or even Fixer just telling them to focus on the job at hand. I do want to see Blue Team again, or maybe some of the other Spartans (how many are still alive by this point?) but I don't want them in the game if they're just going to be treated as invincible marines with no dialogue like 5 did. They really need this Republic Commando style of interaction, if only to remind the player that they do actually HAVE a team with them.
Imagine having Rtas fight a Silent Shadow leader, that would be so damn satisfying, like have him and Arbiter show up at one moment and take on the Silent Shadow, it'd be so epic
Hey man noble 6 is still alive. Spartans never die. Even if they are stabbed by an energy sword through the abdomen. I like to think he managed to get outta there.

The Arbiter's Halo 5 armor is just something that needs to stay in Halo 5. Changing an elite tradition going back generations just isn't realistic.
Agree Halo 2 and 3 Elite styles was in my opinion the best out of all the other Halo games and they should stick to those.
I want Jun back, I don't care about his relevance, I just want the sarcastic sniper to return

OMG thx sooo much for the likes
Alright, my thoughts blow for blow.
Be warned, spoilers for the list below:
For Noble Six, I feel he should still be in there as a tribute line.

Noble 6? Well of course I know him, he’s me
U wish
No, I'm pretty sure you are Master Chief
No. He's me!
Wat is your real name
That's what I think
Hes everyone who ever played reach, my noble six was black primary maroon secondary
"Noble 6? I haven't heard that name in years."
I would love it if Thel still had the Prophet's Bane
The weapon variants, especially Prophet’s Bane was the one thing 5 did right
And of course you forgot the UNSC's best Australian soldier to ever be:
Chips Dubbo
Asteros' arius or his brother fisch (fish?) Dubbo (fish and chips)
I just want to see Literally anyone from the hw2 cast in infinite more specifically the spirit of fire crew like anders cutter or red team/ Jerome
I swear I'll pass out in excitement if I see Chief in his beautiful Infinite armour alongside the Arbiter. It'd be Halo 3 all over again.
The entire cast of Seinfeld, except for Kramer, who was executed for his part in the Spartan II Program.
Wait they were executed
Why kramer tho
I would love a Republic Commando style Halo game.
Occasionally Boss would be alone, or only with 1 teammate, but sometimes you’d have epic fire fights issuing commands to snipe, revive others, man grenade positions, or slicing into terminals.
Racism: Exists
HiddenXperia talking about an elite: "This man"
Wholesome 10/10
I love how he shows the gravemind when he says pandemic.
Id say for an Honorable mention: Offensive Bias and maybe Gray Team haven't seen them since "The Cole Protocol"
Gray team was featured in "envoy"
@@danuhadipura8932 oh that part was insane. Poor Sangheili.
Danuh Adipura absolutely loved that book
Unfortunately 343i promised to make the story very simple due to the backlash from Halo 5 so don't expect any book-only characters.
@@BiomechanicalBrick Such a shame. People aren't complaining about how complex it was, people are complaining about how poor the writing was and how bad they messed up on the execution of good ideas
10:48 I just realized that the Elite in front is a Field Marshal.
If 343 wants to make this game amazing, bringing back Johnson through plot induced stupidity would be the way to go lol
Back in time. Flash backs
tf u everywhere
I would like his final words played while going to see cortana " don't let her go. Don't ever let her go"could set up a choice
how did you survive the halo AGAIN
thats confidential
You’re all forgetting the one thing that NEEDS to return. The Moa
What’s that
Anthony You know those birds you see sometimes on Reach? Those
Oh the weird ostrich things
Mall of America?? 🤔😂
Hey man noble 6 is still alive. Spartans never die. Even if they are stabbed by an energy sword through the abdomen. I like to think he managed to get outta there.
It was the head
