I hope you enjoyed some of Peter's inspiring experiences. We have a follow-up to this episode in a few weeks' time with Jacob Wall-Smith, who is currently one of the architects on the Birmingham, England Temple which has it's groundbreaking in March 2025. I hope it'll be interesting to see a past and future Temple and the processes behind their creations. As for next week though, we have one of my favourite people - Kirby Heyborne! Don't forget to subscribe!
What a great interview, wonderful uplifting stories from an amazing brother in Christ! Thank you! I was born in 1984 and consider President Hinckley "my" prophet. Wow, I just tear up thinking about him.
At the time of the temple construction, I was working at a tree nursery near Scarborough, North Yorkshire. We supplied the trees for the landscaping. I remember one of the lorry drivers complaining one day about having to take another delivery to "that new Mormon place near Preston". He said when go on site "you can't swear, you can't smoke..."
Wonderful to hear from Peter of the stories surrounding the Preston temple. Amazing blessings from the Lord for His saints and His House. Looking forward to the Birmingham temple too!
Loved this podcast about the Preston Temple! So grateful to hear the inspiring stories of how the Lord’s hand was in it and the miracles on getting support and approval for its location. And for the faith and fasting of the saints in that area❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏
This was such an enjoyable interview. My ancestors were mostly all originally converted in the UK in the early days of the Church and came to Nauvoo and then across the Americain plains to the Mountain West, but I always considered the UK as my homeland. I'm thrilled to hear stories about how Zion now flourishes there. One of my most enjoyable times ever was, after my mission to southern France in the 70s, to go visit and do temple work in the London Temple. I love that blessed land.
My husband met at the time, Prophet President Hinkley on his mission and said how amazing it was that he shook all of their hands and called all the missionaries at the zone meeting by their FIRST and last names!
Ben an excellent podcast- I recall Peter Trebilcock as a missionary serving in the England Bristol Mission keep these videos coming very inspiring Thanks Gary Wright from Coventry UK
It is a beautiful temple. My husband and I visited it in 2017, we fell in love with the temple thank you my dear husband passed away in 2022. I am so grateful for the temple and that we were sealed back in 1982 in New Zealand Hamilton temple as we live in Melbourne Australia where there was no temple but now have 5 temples . I am so grateful for the Saviour and the gospel. Love from downunder.
I loved this presentation and I wanted to thank you both so much for sharing all of those sacred experiences with us, I was particularly impressed at how the lord leads those that are trying to do his work , god bless you both
Loved watching this Ben! Peter and Beth are an amazing couple, and I was so blessed to serve along-side them both in the British Pageant. We can't wait for the temple in Scotland, and do not doubt there will be similar stories of faith preceeding miracles!
It entertains me that Brother Trebilcock's manner of speaking is similar to David Hockney. And an enjoyable storyteller; I liked learning about the process of temple symbols, and the name-drop at the end! Maybe someone smarter than me knows the answer. Isn't a single, tall, spire a common motif in British churches?

wow. Wonderful stories. What miracles ✨️
That was quite a bit of fun. It is wonderful to hear from those directly involved in the construction of the Lord's House.

I too loved serving alongside them at the Pageant! Thanks for your comment
Enjoyed these stories very much! Thank you.
Lots of chatter about incidental experiences detract from the purported messsage from the prophet picture you list as clickbait!
Thank you! You should interview Elder Kenneth Johnson!
I would love that
