“Let me be miserable. It’s the Irish way. You’re sad and you die, that’s it!” Hilarious
I didn’t know I was Irish
My Irish ancestry shines through me like a thousand suns in that statement!
Lol; my mother in law is Irish, that’s an actual proverb.
Lol I love Aidan so much! He's so funny!
…best line ever ✌️😂🤣 ahhh Aiden is awesome ❤ …they actually all are amazing 🔥 love this channel
I want to be honest, I think the fact that Irish folks aren't as used to sugar as American's makes the sweets videos so so much more entertaining.
Depends on the American and I think your age. I have always had a sweet tooth but as I have gotten older I find that most processed sweets are just too sugary for me. When I make something I tend to cut back the sugar by 1/4 and/or add flaked sea salt to the top. My brown butter dark chocolate chip cookies are sweet, salty, and bitter and so wonderfully decadent.
@@falconlore9666 Same. I can't do donuts or cereals anymore because they are sickly sweet. I used to have the biggest sweet tooth you've ever seen, and now there's a firm upper limit to my sugar intake.
@@nikkiboulter593 I totally get it. You have to make your own donuts for them to not make you pass out from sugar overload. I usually make just a few once or twice a month with leftover potato bread dough.
@Falconlore
I'm an American and I find so much of our foods way too sweet. Sugar's even in salad dressing. If you compare, for example, nutella from Europe to the one for the US market is much less sweet. These caramels don't seem appealing, to sweet.
@@falconlore9666 I NEED that cookie recipe. That sounds incredible.
"Lance Armstrong wishes.......he was a better person" LOLLLLLLLLL
😂🤣 Y’all crack me up! So happy to see everyone have fun. Hope Seamus and Aidan survived the sugar crash!
Good call on sending the caramels!! they looked great.
These look like something I could eat and not wreck my poor mouth!
Love those two together!
Thanks for sending those sweet treats! Massively appreciated! 😁🙏
H town in the house! I have to try the caramels next time I’m at the rodeo.
I would watch a sitcom with Seamus and Aidan as roommates, Odd-Couple-style -- just sayin'.
The thing we all needed but never knew we needed it.
Someone, please, make this happen
They were hilarious!
I would SO watch that show!!
"Stop crying" 🤣🤣🤣
"It's the Irish way. You're sad and you die. That's it!" Damn, rolling laughing!!! So Irish!! Good on you Aidan!!!
So true!! 100% 😂😂
I love caramel but I feel a little ill at how much was eaten here. So much freaking sugar!!!!! Seamus and Aidan were a riot!
"Why do you have answers for everything? Just let me be miserable! It's the Irish way!" I died 🤣🤣🤣
For those that don’t know, Basic original caramel is made of sugar, butter and cream that is it !
It’s probably the original candy, excluding single ingredient things like honeycomb or maple syrup.
Of course, I’m just saying for those that don’t know caramel is just melted down caramelized sugar with butter and sometimes cream, anything else is the candy makers own recipe
@@EarthWater86 Technically, caramel is just the caramelized sugar. Adding the other two makes it a caramel sauce or candy, depending on how long you cook it.
"A 10 yr old on a bull calf"? You need to look up mutton bustin. LOL Thank you guys for the laughs. I've needed it after this rough week!
But only in the American sense, not the Middle East sense. (I hope)
I was impressed they knew kids ride
@@ronjones-6977 you're not right! Lol yes I do mean in the American sort
Laughing as I fondly reminisce...MY 10 year old being "too tall & heavy," for "mutton busting!" Same with pee wee football, etc. Now, 15 years later at 6' 9" tall & 295 pounds...I can see why. 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣😘😘😘😘😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lol...I've never seen anyone just drop a load of caramel on a plate and eat it with a spoon. 😂
Seamus and Aidan are my new fav pairing, I had two of my fav pairings in this video but now Seamus and Aidan are here being precious and quietly hysterical and I’m HERE for it
Aidan and Seamus were the stars of this video. Keep the great work Try Channel thank you for everything.
Seamus is so shameless sometimes . I love it . Salted caramel with roasted cashews instead of almonds .
Lol
100%
OMG that sounds good!
Or macadamia nuts.
So would you say he's Seamless?
Trivia: The pecan, Pah-Kahn, Pee-Can, Pee-Kahn is the official nut of Texas, Arkansas, Alabama & Georgia. The pecan tree is the official state tree of Texas. Gartha!
I live in Arkansas. Growing up I had a pecan tree in my backyard!
@@juanita_rocksteady2761 aka squirrel factory
I say Pah-Kahn over here! Originally from the midwest.
OMG, that looked delish! Now someone needs to send them some Mackinac Island fudge. 🤣
Omg! I have some in my pantry right now!! I got it in Michigan in June! Soooooooooo delicious!!! And the salted caramel fudge was my fav!!
@@gypsysoul5513 Soooo yummy!
Aidan: "It's the Irish way...you're sad and then you die." 🤣🤣🤣
Self realization and pecan birds flying overhead! That’s good candy! 😄
The level of existentialist though Seamus ascended to in this video makes me question the validity of reincarnation, because he was espousing some thoughts that would've made Sartre, Nietzsche, and Kirkegaard proud! 🤣
He read philo at uni!
"You're sad and you die, that's it" - funniest sentence ever, lol
Texans: is it Pee-Con or Pee-Can?
Irish: It’s Pee-Kin
😂😂😂 I love y’all!
Peecan here in Western New York
I'm in Texas and I've only heard: puh-cawhn. No pee involved.
A pee-can is something used by prison inmates and truck drivers.
Puh-khan
My daddy used to say a pee-can is for late at night if you can't get to the out house 🤣
Seamus is showing his inner poet. I enjoyed watching you all really enjoy something.
It's so great to see a fellow Celiac being able to enjoy taste testing, I know how stressful it can be to find food for us, let alone good food!😂💖
I can’t even explain how much I love this channel. You guys are pure gold! The honesty makes me cry down my leg.
Slap one of these in a double boiler, warm it up and drizzle on ice cream.
Growing up in Houston and annually going to the livestock show and rodeo I am very familiar with these, and I miss them dearly since I moved away! By the way, the next trip to the states y’all decide to make it would be good to come when the rodeo is going on and visit, it’s a pretty phenomenal experience!
I live in Houston (well, I'm in the Harris County side of Friendswood) and I totally agree they should experience the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo. It would blow their minds!
If only they could get tickets! 3 weeks of sold out shows in a 75,000 seat stadium!
@@mfulkers1 tickets can always be had even for sold out shows.
I love that Seamus and Aidan are having the time of their lives in this shoot. 😂 Congrats, and savor it cuz it’ll never happen again.
“I’ve never had pecans”
“They’re the ones that look like brains”
LOL! I never thought about that, but I totally see it now. 🧠
that's walnuts!
But, walnuts are the ones that look like brains. Pecans look a lot closer to coffee beans.
I thought walnuts were the lungy ones.
Well now I think all nuts look like brains! Hahahaha
As the kids say, "Big ups" to Aiden for rocking the Julien Baker tee. She's awesome.
Eadaoin (in the plain caramel round) "Ooh it's hard"
I can't help and think to myself 'that's what she said' and she literally said it.
"It's the Irish way. You're sad and you die. That's it!"
American: I think I've identified a deep connection to my family roots.
Another candy brand you could try is Hammond’s Candy Bars. It comes in unique flavors including Red Velvet Cake, Key Lime Pie, Malted Milkshake, Coconut Cream Pie, and Lemon Meringue.
Oh the malted milkshake sounds DIVINE!
@@ladycplum it is! hammond’s is so good
To be fair, Red Velvet Cake is not a unique flavor. It's soooo overrated and everywhere.
You can melt the plain caramel in the microwave and dip apple slices in it! Fantastic!
All of these look fab! That said, i think the caramel with almonds and the caramel with walnuts should be eliminated and replaced with caramel and cashews. That is a flavor combo on par (at least) with the dark chocolate/caramel/pecan variety...which should be as incredible tasting as it appeared to be based on the faces of the TRYers. Sláinte! ~Be Blessed
What a fun gooey way to end the week - thanks everyone!
It's nice when they read an accompanying note, it adds an extra little friendly dimension
What! All that caramel and not one sugar coma?
Wow. You guys are hard core.
If you really want to live dangerously, try putting some of the plain caramel into the microwave until it's liquid, then pour it over a bowl of freshly popped popcorn, still warm from the popper so the caramel won't seize up, and stir it all around to make your own caramel corn.
They recorded this 2 weeks ago and just woke up to post it
It's the years of drinking! Their bodies know how to handle it! Lol
At the end Paul looked like he was on his way
“Just let me be miserable! It’s the Irish way.” Now THIS is the way.
"This is so rich it could afford rent in Dublin"...hilarious! 😄
Houston TX y'all need to come down! Nice! Come down to the Rodeo next year in 2023 to the Carnival and get a funnel cake, it'll be the best thing you'll ever have.
How can we make sugar more addictive? Ah yes, cook it until it turns gooey and brown!
The Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo is AWESOME! It's like a tiny state fair but with horses and other animals.
Except it’s literally the largest indoor rodeo in the world
Are Seamus and Aidan easy to please? Cuz they loved all of them!
This is probably my favorite Try. You were really enjoying yourselves. Great job!!!
Awesome video guys!
Makes me miss the nuts. I'm not allowed those any more. Great to live through you guys enjoying them though.
Thanks!
💕 Love this channel 😃
I’m from Houston, Texas & I’ll have to try this caramel at the next Live Stock Show & Rodeo in February 2023 & tell them that I saw them on Irish People Try. 😂 My daughter & I usually get a bag of saltwater taffy. So she’ll love to try the caramel this next rodeo season. ❤
The gullet? The more I listen to y'all speak, the more terms I grew up hearing from my elders, in West Virginia. The more Irish I become! And I love it!
Yep. I laughed when I heard Paddy say gullet.
All of it looks really good. I'm in central Oklahoman and you having me contemplating if I'm close enough for a road trip to Houston.
Went to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo this year for the first time in many many years...and bought some of this caramel.... regular with pecans... I FELL IN LOVE... best caramel I have ever had... when my daughter went a week later... had her get me another one... I eat it slow.. but, I am planning a trip in the fall to the shop about 45 min to an hour from me... I need some more... and after watching this video... I def need more... YUM!!!!!!!
"It's the Irish way. You're sad and you die. That's it" Is that on a t shirt?
One of the funniest episodes! Hilarious, guys! Thank you 🙏🏽
Lets go, TEXAS!!!!!! 💚☘️🍀🇺🇸🇺🇸
This is genuine madness as I've never seen someone just eat caramel from a plate with a spoon.
I dislike salted sweets, but their unsalted chocolate caramel (not featured in this video) warmed in the microwave is absolute dynamite over ice cream.
My mouth literally watered reading your comment 🍨🍫
Thanks for the great video love you all
That was fun to watch and it makes me want to try some of the pecan Caramel. Nicely done ! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 And thanks for dubbing the curse word.
Yay! I love these videos.
I always look forward to your videos, I know I'm going to get a laugh. Love the channel. Jeff from Iowa
Try'rs y'all rock! Love the channel and content! I'm here for the algorithm! Peace
This is quite a surprise seeing Miss Éadaoin ( love seeing her ) doing this video she is definitely one of my favorite volunteers for this channel.
Seamus is a riot! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This looked so good that I went to the web site and ordered some. So freakin’ good!! I bought cinnamon caramel with pecans. Yummy! Thanks TRY channel!
I went to a hole in the wall coffee shop years ago in Boston, Massachusetts. When your coffee arrived, it came with a bit of caramel on a stick (sometimes known as a sugar daddy) lol don't ask me why 😅. Mixing it in with the coffee... it was delightful!
Sugar daddy and sugar babies were and still are common treats where I grew up in Kentucky.
" the nuts are not adding much, they're more annoying "🤣🤣🤣🤣
My wife bought some of this when she went to Tennessee. It's is very good.
Those looked amazing. You could probably run a marathon after eating all that. Chocolate probably would be my favorite one and over some ice cream :)
Sit and have your caramel with a nice whiskey in front of a fireplace listening to your favorite music…there’s your evening!
Take a couple tablespoons of the plain caramel and dissolve it in a bottle of whiskey. It's frickin' amazing.
Why would you destroy good whiskey?
Why would you destroy good caramel?
LMAO well done all - one of the first episode where I laughed at all the pairs!!
Sweet and salty describes this channel perfectly!😆😆😆
Htown loud & proud on this lovely show today! 🤩🤘💙
Omg I used to show and judge at the Houston livestock show!!! I love the caramel candy company’s products but be careful not to get too big a spoonful lol it’s intensely sweet, rich and sticky
Seamus is always awesome. Same with Jesus. Great pairing!
Imagine their reaction to fudge from a shop that specializes in it.. they will literally be climbing the walls from the Sugar Rush
"Slips right down the gullet." That should go on the packet.
Or a Try Channel t-shirt! Right next to "Frothing at the gash" 😂
I could see Seamus quoting Roger from American Dad "I think I'm having a delish-o-gasm..."
I've made home made caramels many times, and it's exactly like this. It's also 95% sugar and 5% butter.
You don't use any water, nor butter or whipping cream?
@@jennross6466 absolutely no water. Yeah I use cream, but what is cream but butter to be?
Damn Jamie you hit it right on the head, like eating finger nails 💅 I can't stand almonds, I don't like caramel that much and not a fan of pecans but, pecans, caramel and chocolate are meant for each other, I love turtles, it's amazing how the ingredients are meh, but put them together🥳
I am now a diabetic just from watching this.
I'm diabetic before this, and now have a high blood sugar headache.
Aidan Greene is a new fave... he's ridiculously unstoppable here... plus those eyes. Did I get hypnotised?
BTW, you ALL are my faves...
Great Tryers
When Paddy and Èadaoin are in a video you know it's gonna be fun
Texan here, ya'll are hilarious! Caramel, AKA Texas ambrosia. Not sure about the almonds, walnuts are okay, but salted, pecans and chocolate, ooh yeah!
i have the same julien baker shirt as aidan!! love that
Seamus was on 🔥 in this episode!
Kudos to Irish Jesus for thinking of the senior citizens.
Enjoyed your video and I gave it a Thumbs Up
Having grown up in Houston, some of us take things like this for granted so it’s nice to see someone else experience this. Now you guys need to come to the rodeo in Houston. It’s the biggest one in the world
Kind of reminds me of the little fudge containers they sell with the little spoons at Cracker Barrel.
There y’all go, eating the fancy caramel. You made me crave caramel so much I had to get a Werther’s hard caramel because it was all I had.
This one had me rolling.
i very much enjoyed watching seamus and aidan have a good day 😂💓
Gonna be honest, I've heard more about the nature of salted caramel from this channel than I have anywhere else in all of my nearly 42 years on this planet
Seamus was OVERBOARD in the best way possible and Aidan and I were so here for it. 😂
Seamus has found nirvana. Who would've thought it would come from Texas lol.
6:32 "I don't know if I've ever had a pecan" "They're the ones that look like brains." LMAO. They do kind of look like brains, but I thought walnuts resembled brains more.
Jamie's laugh is great. 😁
Chocolate, Pecan Caramel, sea salt needs some toasted coconut in there too. 😊
If you've only just started watching, be prepared to cry yourself silly. The drinking videos are the best.
Yes they are
Of the drinking episodes the “alcohol advent calendar” about a month before Christmas each year is longer but hysterical. That was the first “Try” I watched several years ago... and I’ve been a fan since then! The “drink roulette” episodes are funny also.
Advent calendars are the besy
@@davidvento5481 First one I saw as my wife put me onto it :)
@@maureenboyle1926
I hope the plexiglass partition remains down when they film this years!
everything from Texas is great!! you need to try are bbq!
Now I want all of them melted over a giant cinnamon roll.
Hey, I'm watching this in a hotel in Orange, TX getting ready to work our way to Houston tomorrow. Will have to see if I can run across any of these.
