Elvis was unique. No one dressed like that. His jumpsuits were custom made to fit his body and adorned with beads and jewels costing thousands of dollars. For this special concert he chose a red, white and blue theme. He was very patriotic and his jacket and cape had an American Eagle. Very appropriate for the concert was the first to be transmitted via satellite over 1.5 billion people watched. The whole concert was memorable and so many iconic songs. You checked them all.

I love watching your reaction. You’re so up & respectful & I close my eyes too because Elvis can grab your soul but then I pop open my eyes 👀 so I don’t miss his emotions. Beautiful voice. He not only was unique with the jumpsuits but he actually started them because he kept ripping his pants when he danced so hard & would have to change them. His designer came up with a flexible fabric in a one piece & alas ! History was made. Elvis always liked different fashions. When he was in school he’d dress differently & would get bullied at times for his hair and clothes but he never stopped being an individual. He shopped at a ply called Lanskys where whites and blacks shopped. They had bright clothes and he loved it. Unfortunately he was so poor he couldn’t buy much. But as he started making money he told the store owner, one day I’m going to buy you out. The owner said don’t do that, just buy from me! Elvis stated ok & that’s what he did. I recently saw an interview with the mans son who now owns it and it’s with another big named store in Memphis. He has certain racks set aside that are exact imitations of what Elvis wore in the movies or a special outfit he’d been seen in. Elvis kept his word and the Lansky family got rich. A wonderful story. Thanks so much. Really enjoy you & God bless.
Elvis was the 1st Rock & Roll Star. Everyone and Everything came after Elvis... John Lennon of the Beatles said: "Before Elvis, there was nothing"... The Smithsonian Institution in Washington D.C. named Elvis: "The Greatest Entertainer of the 20th Century". I am 70 years old and followed Elvis from his Start in 1954 to his death in 1977. I saw Elvis 23 times in concert. There was nobody like him. He was a once in a lifetime phenomena. Elvis is the only entertainer inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Country Music Hall of Fame, Rythm & Blues Hall of Fame, Gospel Music Hall of Fame, and Rock-A-Billy Music Hall of Fame. Elvis' first record in 1954 for Sun Records in Memphis, Tennessee, called "That's All Right" (Little Mama), Has been called the first "Rock-A-Billy Record by Music Historians... Elvis... the one and only, could sing any genre of Music. He loved Gospel. Listen to " How Great Thou Art" from "Elvis On Tour" 1972.
My beloved Granny died exactly two weeks before. I found her dead, lying in her bathroom.....just like Elvis. It was my 11th birthday. My Granny loved Elvis. I hope she met him in heaven! 💫 🌠
Elvis is and was the greatest musical genius of all time. I’ve been a fan for 65 years had the honor of seeing him in concert as a teenager eight times. It was the highest honor of a lifetime do jail house rock. It’s an old video but it’s a classic God love God send Godspeed.
When he went to Vegas he became friends with Liberace. He gave Elvis some tips on being an entertainer. So he was using the Liberace swag with his own twist.
Hi Da Real Adogg, Elvis was a Southern man just like you. your goosebumps that you feel is a gift from God understanding a Spiritual goodness!! which is called discernment... Man, you are blessed with that!!! I enjoy you Analysis of a song. Any of your different gender of music that I follow from your reaction.. Keep it going my good man You get 10 🌟s reaction.
Elvis was the first: to dress like he did, and to sing like he did with so much emotion and physicality - and the only one ever to have that incredibly beautiful voice.
Elvis was the best dresser throughout his career. Elvis set styles and people wanted to dress like him. Even now, he's outfits are still the best around for coolness.
Oh, yes American Trilogy next; same concert,..this was broadcast around the world.......there was only one Elvis ...........he was an original in how he dressed.
Seeing Elvis live was to say the least "ELECTRIFYING" ..... AND SO THERE I WAS ..... AT SEVERAL ELVIS CONCERTS ..... THE STADIUM WAS AS LOUD AS COULD BE ..... PEOPLE EVERY-WERE ..... THE ELECTRICITY JUMPED FROM ONE PERSON TO ANOTHER ALL THROUGH THE PLACE ..... FULL OF THE STATIC ELECTRICITY ..... ONE PERSON TO ANOTHER ...... THESE CHARGES BUILT UP ON EVERYONE OF US ..... MAKING OUR HAIR STAND ON END AND MAKING ALL OF US CRAZY TILL YOU JUST HAD TO FIND A WAY TO RELEASE OR DISCHARGE IT..... SCREAMING SEEMS LIKE THE WAY MOST GOT RID OF IT ..... " I KNOW THAT FOR SURE" ..... AS MY AUNT ..... MY SISTER ..... AND MY DATE MADE ME INCOHERENT FOR AT LEAST THE NEXT WEEK OR SO ..... AND THIS WAS JUST WAITING FOR THE SHOW TO START ..... THEN THE FRONT PART WITH THE BAND AND COMEDIAN CAME OUT AND SOME ENERGY WAS RELEASED FOR THE MOMENT ..... BUT THEN CHARGED RIGHT BACK UP AGAIN AS THE BAND STARTED AND THE COMEDIAN CAME AND WENT ..... IT SEEMED LIKE IT WOULD NEVER GET TO ELVIS COMING OUT AS THAT IS EXACTLY WHY WE ALL WERE THERE ..... THAT'S RIGHT ..... WE ALL WERE WAITING FOR ..... ELVIS TIME ..... THEN ..... SPACE ODYSSEY 2001 STARTED TO PLAY ..... MAN ..... WOMEN AND CHILD ..... WE ALL KNEW ..... ELVIS WAS NEXT ..... IT WAS DEAFENING ..... THEN SPACE ODYSSEY STARTED PLAYING ..... THE CHARGE WAS ELECTRIFYING .....THE CROWD WAS SO LOUD YOU COULD NOT HEAR YOURSELF SAY ..... THINK OR HELL ..... EVEN SCREAM ..... " YOUR BREAKING MY EAR DRUMS PEOPLE " ..... EVERYONE WAS COVERING THEIR OWN EARS JUST TO SAVE THEMSELF FOR GOING DEAF ..... IT WAS ALL-READY TO LATE FOR ME ..... AS I COULD NOT EVEN SAY HIS NAME WITHOUT MY AUNT ..... SISTER ..... OR ..... DATE THERE WITH ME WOULD LOOK AT ME THEN START SCREAMING ..... EEELLLVVVVIIISSS ..... EEELLLVVVVIIISSS ..... EEELLLVVVVIIISSS ..... BUT THEN JUST BEFORE THE BLINDING LIGHTS OF THE CAMERA'S STARTED ..... THANK GOD ..... IT HAPPENED ..... THE KING HIMSELF CLIMBED UP THOSE STAIRS AND AT THAT MOMENT ..... I REALIZED THAT THE CROWD ..... AUNT ..... SISTER ..... AND ..... DATE ..... COULD SCREAM A WHOLE LOT LOUDER THEN THEY DID JUST MINUTES BEFORE ..... EEELLLVVVVIIISSS ..... EEELLLVVVVIIISSS ..... EEELLLVVVVIIISSS .....WAY LOUDER ..... THEN ..... THANK GOD ..... ELVIS WALKED UP TO THE MIC ..... And the screaming that was ear piercing and probably making my ears bleed already to say the least stop on a dime ..... It was Quiet as hell now with the crowd ..... And with my Aunt ..... Sister ..... And yes ..... My Date..... As Elvis was just about to sing ..... Throughout the concert anytime Elvis was to say anything or sing..... Or ..... Hell ..... Just moved around ..... No-one moved or made a sound ..... WHY ..... We were Mesmerized .....We wanted to hear everything and see everything he did ..... This Is the true Impact that Elvis Aron Presley had here on Planet Earth ..... You can ..... Fight it ..... Argue it ..... Cuss at it ..... Disagree with it ..... Be Jealous of it ..... You can even claim others his equal or his better if you want ..... But every time the dust settles ..... Elvis is still king ..... God said ..... That ..... That son ..... That there is something you just cannot change ..... Can't and won't be done ..... Elvis won the world over with his abilities ..... Far above mortal man ..... Able to leap high notes in a single breath ..... Or blow the roof off with some low tone tornadic whirlwind of a grinding persuasion flowing out of him with the greatest of ease .....To start a song off as if it would be soft and sweet .... Only to have it take you up to high heaven and beyond ..... Making you think ..... What the hell just happened ..... Was that earthbound what you just heard and saw ..... Or direct from up above that ..... God sent just for you ..... Yes sir ..... Whatever happens ..... YOU CANNOT OUTRUN THE POWERFUL .....SOUNDS COMING OUT OF HIM ..... NO SIR .....It's those powerful sounds coming out of him ..... That His tornadic voice creates .....Winds that can blow you into others around you ..... Into laps of perfect strangers ..... Causing turned over popcorn ..... Spilled drinks ..... Stepped on candy bars ..... Hell ..... Even screaming in your ears ..... I KNOW .... Both of them ..... All at once ..... Coming from both sides ..... Even from the front and back of you ..... Doesn't matter if it is your Aunt ..... Sister..... Or Date ..... And thousands of Pictures being taken ..... Even at hundreds of feet away ..... Maybe even thousands ..... All from the lights of the cameras that just keep on flashing ..... Thousands at a time ..... Practically Blinding you the whole time ..... But man ..... look-Out ..... As he can change direction quickly Vocally ..... And send you to La-La land in an instant ..... Hell ..... He's been known to lift up people in cars and trucks ..... Even houses and toss them into happiness ..... WITH IN ONE NOTE ..... So hold on man ..... Elvis is king ..... Borrowed talent from God himself as history has proven it 73 YEARS AND COUNTING ..... Once in a while God sends a mes-sager to his people ..... Elvis was one such mes-sager ..... Mankind can try to change it and proclaim some-one his equal or better if they want ..... BUT God already said ..... That is something that will never change ..... The man had everyone {Including Me} ..... looking up on the stage as we wanted to watch every move ..... And listen to every sound he made ..... Yes sir ..... I saw Elvis live ..... And I will tell you right now that hearing him on CD's or Records or seeing him on TV or here on you-tube ..... I can tell you right now ..... It is nothing like seeing him in person ..... Take it x1000 ..... to him In person ..... He was that Absolutely fantastic ..... A wound up tesla coil ..... With bolts of lighting feeding the crowd ...... Simply ..... He was like the Suction of a f-5 tornado ..... Once in his grip ..... You are a fan ..... PERIOD ..... And so as you are determined ..... To jump into the whirlwinds created by the king himself ..... "REALIZE YOU ARE NOW BEING OFFICIALLY SUCKED INTO THE F-5 WHIRLWIND TORNADO " ..... WE BID YOU GOOD LUCK ON YOUR JOURNEY AND WELCOME ABOARD .....PLEASE ABOVE ALL .....Keep your hands ..... Arms ..... And legs inside your seat at all times ..... To avoid hitting nearby ..... Supporters ..... People ..... And other objects ..... Try to Sit properly in your seat without twisting around ..... kneeling ..... Or otherwise rearranging your body in a way that may compromise the effectiveness of the safety restraints built -in ..... Which are the arm rests ..... Seat belts ..... Or a handrail ..... Or any other form of safety device if so equipped ..... OR .....You may just end up holding on to any other life forms in your area ..... After all they too are being sucked in ..... Or hell ..... You may have to just hang on for dear life on your own ..... Above all ..... Enjoy the ride ..... As he left all his recordings just for us .....And so here is another gift from the king ..... Elvis Presley - " Life " ..... ua-cam.com/video/T4cWkMXrGjo/v-deo.html ....{{ Elvis recorded EXACTLY 769 songs }} ..... And he did them better than ..... ANYONE ELSE COULD ..... ANYONE ..... PERIOD ..... Once you know Elvis ..... You'll know pure Talent ..... No Brag ..... Just Fact ..... BIG N ...
Elvis had the most beautiful voice, always pitch perfect, exactly soft and also exactly rocking when called for. Everything that happened on Elvis's stage, he put together, from the band to the backup singers. Elvis was music! Little known fact thought, about this particular show, and I can tell as I'm a huge fan, but Elvis was extremely nervous throughout this show, It was the first ever satellite broadcast concert to all corners of the world. Because Elvis's shady manager didn't have a passport, he held Elvis back from ever being able to perform overseas so, this was the compromise. You can tell Elvis was very careful and measured in his performance and it's said he was just beside himself nervous. Can you imagine this powerhouse of talent ever being nervous? but he was. One that you should definitely check out from this Aloha from Hawaii show of Elvis' is An American Trilogy though. You'll love that one! As always thought, true #King Great reaction again!
I lived in Memphis for many years. I even toured his home when it opened up for touring. Yeah Elvis had his own way of dressing. He was cool. Loved to see him in black . He was the best in the world and there will never be another person or intertainer like him . He loved his fan's and he love to sing . He also loved gospel music he sang it well. He loved the lord.
Amazing song! ELVIS sang this song with so much passion and emotion, much better as Sinatra! Yes, only ELVIS could wear this Jumpsuit and looks amazing! Thank you for this great reaction!
Live, at the end of most songs he remembers he's Elvis, and let's rip. He knew he was in a class of his own and always sounded utterly perfect every time ❤
There was no one before Elvis so he created his own style and made the jumpsuits popular in the late 60's and early 70's. Everyone copied Elvis he created that wardrobe with all the glitz and glam on the jumpsuits.
This performance is from "The Alternate Aloha". This was a rehearsal performance taped the day before the live broadcast. It was taped so it could be used and played in case there were technological problems with the live broadcast.
When Elvis started live performances in 1969 in Vegas, his outfits were based on his karate garb (he was a black belt) because he liked the freedom of movement on stage. It just expanded from there with his own personal designer. His look was unique in concert, but his street clothes was fairly regular for the day.
@@latachia_2981 I have heard it several times before. Always thought Elvis' version is far better than Sinatra's which I find a bit boring. The end of Elvis' performance is simply amazing.
It's so nice seeing him at his peak like this. I've just finished reading 'Elvis: What Happened' written by 3 of his bodyguards . It was shocking re his later years. His Manager 'The Colonel' Tom Parker took 50%. To pay his huge gambling debts , he had Elvis on 7 Vegas shows a week, despite his health issues of glaucoma, prescription pill addiction & a painful genetic bowel condition. At one point the book describes his personal Dr was dunking a semi conscious Elvis in ice water to revive him. The Colonel left the room saying "All that matters is you get him on that stage".
I'm loving your Elvis reactions!! I know you like the dancing and don't we all?! I recommend Elvis Presley's Dance Moves and also Top 10 Elvis moves. "Tigerman" from the '68 Comeback Special is a fun one. I hope you'll react to it.
And no, no one else every dressed like Elvis, not then, not since. He had his own style, and he's the only man I know that can wear a cape and it looks totally normal, because he was a real-life superhero! :) #theking
The Osmonds followed because Elvis told them they should start wearing jumpsuits. He became friends with them. When he was in Vegas they went to his shows and he actually went to theirs. He would invite them to stay at his suite when they were there. He loved their mom (she was a big Elvis fan) - always calling her just to talk. He once told them to get to know your fans and get out there and meet them. Today so many of their fans have become friends in which they keep contact with. That is way after 60 plus years in show bizz, they still have such a big fan base. They were never given credit were due.
That song fit him like a glove❗ He definitely did it his way❣ It's still unbelievable that only 4 years later, he was gone. 😪 So happy to have experienced him 🥰
Jane H commenting ….. Loved your Reaction to this Aloha Elvis performance, which was the very first Ever concert to be broadcast across the world via satellite. That’s why Elvis’ costume has a big eagle on the back plus an eagle on the upper sleeve, to show his pride at being American. I watched this performance on television in New Zealand. I’ve been a big fan of Elvis since I was 15, & I’m now 72. Could I please suggest that you open an Elvis playlist, because you will get lots of Elvis fans visiting your channel to watch only Elvis. I just went to see if you had any other Elvis Reactions, but I gave up after searching about for a while. Thank you.
No one dressed like Elvis he was the man check out American Triology and You gave me a mountain and What now my love all from the same concert the 1st will definitely give you the goosebumps I get them every time I hear that song thank you great reaction 😎😷✌👍
He was a black belt karate. I think that is why the jump suit. And then the rhinestones and decorations. He could wear it like no one else. For a long time country music stars have worn flashy clothes,,but not one piece. ELVIS will always remain #1.
Yes Elvis created her own style and no one else dressed the same on stage .. Elvis took on the influences of karate outfits..After all, he practiced karate for many decades and was the black belt of many dans ..
This is one of my favorite songs Elvis's voice puts so much passion and emotion plus the stage presence is so amazing and that voice is so strong and powerful like no one ever will
Elvis had said he dressed differently even in high school days. He used to go by Bill Lohmann's clothing store. He would save his money to buy flashy shirts with high collars etc. When he became famous he would go to that store and bought clothes and Mr. Lohmann dressed ELVIS throughout his career. They were lifelong friends up until Elvis died. Think he even dressed ELVIS for his burial.
In reference to your comment, no one in musical history has ever dressed like Elvis Presley. He created his own designs with the help of a designer. It was his signature statement. No one has ever before or after duplicated him.
I don’t know if you know this but this concert was the first concert via satellite seen by 1.5billion people throughout the world and he is the biggest pop icon and the Beatles said that before Elvis there was nothing and Elvis certainly did things his way and he is still remembered 46 years after his death and he thought that he would be forgotten
Elvis will never die as long as reactors like you Adogg play his music. And I just hope that you don't just listen and forget it but replay and absorb his greatness into your being.
Elvis felt the music and closed his eyes too. I’m 80yrs and get goosebumps every time I hear his beautiful voice. He touches my soul.

No one dressed like this, only Elvis…..I have loved Elvis my whole life
This man could make the angel's cry. He was so perfect
*ELVIS was way ahead of his time. Since there was no " Rock Stars " before him, he had to create the image. He also invented, " Being Cool ".*
There will never ever be another sing that has a voice as good as Elvis's
THAT REGAL VOICE-! Like the roar of a mighty lion. RIP ELVIS

Right back from the very beginning he did it His Way...he was unique...no one else like him.
Roy Orbison said it very well......"Elvis was the first with the most"
Elvis was the 1st Rock & Roll Star.
I remember exactly where I was when Elvis died. I remember my momma crying so hard.
My beloved Granny died exactly two weeks before.
I found her dead, lying
in her bathroom.....just
like Elvis.
It was my 11th birthday.
My Granny loved Elvis.
I hope she met him in heaven!
💫 🌠
@Norma Jean Vandever
Thank you so much for your kind words Norma! 🙏
Elvis was the only person to dress that way and people got inspiration from him.
Elvis is and was the greatest musical genius of all time. I’ve been a fan for 65 years had the honor of seeing him in concert as a teenager eight times. It was the highest honor of a lifetime do jail house rock. It’s an old video but it’s a classic God love God send Godspeed.
Lots of people TRIED to dress and sing like him, but never stuck. Elvis was a true legend!! ❤❤❤
P.s.
You have BEAUTIFUL teeth
When he went to Vegas he became friends with Liberace. He gave Elvis some tips on being an entertainer. So he was using the Liberace swag with his own twist.
Hi Da Real Adogg, Elvis was a Southern man just like you. your goosebumps that you feel is a gift from God understanding a Spiritual goodness!! which is called discernment... Man, you are blessed with that!!! I enjoy you Analysis of a song. Any of your different gender of music that I follow from your reaction.. Keep it going my good man You get 10 🌟s reaction.
I’m from the south… my homeland is Mississippi where Elvis was born… I’m in Tennessee as an adult! ❤️Tennessee
Just Pretend by Elvis is a must see!
Yes he was the first to dress like he did. WOW !!!!!
Reminds me of my Mom. She loved Elvis and this song embodied her life as well. He was one of a kind!🔥🔥🔥
Elvis was the first: to dress like he did, and to sing like he did with so much emotion and physicality - and the only one ever to have that incredibly beautiful voice.
I dont think there were trends b4 Elvis, he invented style
And that, is how you do THAT-!
American Trilogy from this same concert is a MUST!
Elvis was the best dresser throughout his career. Elvis set styles and people wanted to dress like him. Even now, he's outfits are still the best around for coolness.
He was the first to dress like that, a trend setter since the 1950's.
Own swag for sure... back in the day
Elvis.. You Gave Me A Mountain from Elvis On Tour 1972.
Oh, yes American Trilogy next; same concert,..this was broadcast around the world.......there was only one Elvis ...........he was an original in how he dressed.
This is actually from the rehersal concert 2 days before on January 12th.
He was the KING!
♥️😭👍This song makes me cry everytime!
Me too!
Me too!
French song
I played this song one too many times on my parents console stereo! Mama still has his albums!
ELVIS IS SO POWERFUL. HIS WAY YES. HE MADE THIS SONG "MY WAY" HIS OWN.
Aloha from Hawaï 1973
Paul Anka wrote this beautiful song. Elvis sang it perfectly.
Elvis was unique & dressed his way, he was the king 👑💗
Another success, well done.
Please YOU'VE LOST THAT LOVING FEELING from Live 70 Vegas.
His voice is amazing,
Elvis at his best. ❤
Amazing song! ELVIS sang this song with so much passion and emotion, much better as Sinatra! Yes, only ELVIS could wear this Jumpsuit and looks amazing! Thank you for this great reaction!
French song wonderfully sung by Elvis and Sinatra.
Yes
French song.....
Yes the Osmond's wore Jump suite's a few time after Elvis ......
Live, at the end of most songs he remembers he's Elvis, and let's rip. He knew he was in a class of his own and always sounded utterly perfect every time ❤
What an entertainer !!! Love his music thank u for your great reactions !!!
The goose bumps, that's how you know someone has aced their craft😁
When Elvis started live performances in 1969 in Vegas, his outfits were based on his karate garb (he was a black belt) because he liked the freedom of movement on stage. It just expanded from there with his own personal designer. His look was unique in concert, but his street clothes was fairly regular for the day.
from 1970 (BRIDGE OVER TROUBLED WATERS) LIVE EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE
Классная песня с глубоким смыслом жизни.
Dang.. look at that ring.... love Elivis.. he was his own man
You must really see this whole concert for yourself to get the most of his performance.
React to “American Trilogy” from this concert also please. You will get goose bumps I guarantee.
Indeed! Or from Madison Square Garden in 1972.
@@carlpeterkirkebo2036 Yes, plz react to this one...you'll be glad that you did!
@@latachia_2981 I have heard it several times before. Always thought Elvis' version is far better than Sinatra's which I find a bit boring. The end of Elvis' performance is simply amazing.
American trilogy from same concert will blow you away.
Elvis was one in 7 billion
One of the best singers ever!
:) #theking
Elvis starting wearing the jumpsuit then The Jacksons, Osmonds and David Cassidy copied him!💖
Think the Osmonds were nearly exact copies in style with the belts and collars. Couldn't stand them.
That song fit him like a glove❗ He definitely did it his way❣
It's still unbelievable that only 4 years later, he was gone. 😪
So happy to have experienced him 🥰
Jane H commenting …..
You can't go wrong with horns, back up singers, dramatic music, what a show...
elvis was and is the voice of emotion
Your fun to watch while your watching the greatest entertainer there ever was. 👍
Video is from the day before, the rehearsal, notice he forgets a couple words in the middle. Still an awesome version!!!
Don't care much for the song but Elvis hit it out of the park. Thanks for sharing.
Yes Elvis created her own style and no one else dressed the same on stage .. Elvis took on the influences of karate outfits..After all, he practiced karate for many decades and was the black belt of many dans ..
This is one of my favorite songs Elvis's voice puts so much passion and emotion plus the stage presence is so amazing and that voice is so strong and powerful like no one ever will
Perfect.. I ❤ Elvis❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
No one comes close to this Man..Gorgeous
The Undisputed KING! GO RAMS! HORNS UP! 🤘 🤘
