For sure looking for a song with my name in it I chose SweetCaroline. Never hand a song you wrote to Elvis. Every song someone sang that became popular and it got in Elvis’ hands was gone for good. Just saying.
Definitely Elvis was the best! Yes, it is a very iconic song and you would not expect anyone to try to sing it after Frank. Elvis indeed was the only one who could outshine Frank with this one
"MY WAY" is Elvis's life....no one does the song better! It is so easy to forget that, even though Elvis was and is a superstar, he was also a man. A man who had disappointments, feelings, struggles, and insecurities. He always tried his best to give his all to his fans....which he did. It's just so sad it cost him so much. Rest in peace Elvis, Yes, you did it your way, and it was wonderful!
Frank talks the song through, where Elvis sings it like he singing it to the world with passion as if he did it his way! No comparison !! ELVIS hands down !!
No competition Elvis wins hands down, no one can put emotion in a song like Elvis did. He will always be the cream of the crop, no one can ever come close to his talent.
To me the two versions are very different- Frank’s is great, velvet voice and all …but Elvis puts his ALL into it, and his range is amazing. My vote goes to Elvis.
I live in Memphis Tennessee where Elvis had his main home. We would see him around town a lot when he was home. He liked to go to the Cadillac car dealer a look at cars. He was known to buy unsuspecting shoppers new cars more than once. He really was a wonderful, God loving man. He is missed even now.
i don't think so -- many things in his life he was unable to accomplish & he grew more despondent as the yrs. dragged on; he wanted to do other things but it never happened for him
@@alameas6358 i don't think so -- many things in his life he was unable to accomplish & he grew more despondent as the yrs. dragged on; he wanted to do other things but it never happened for him
Frank was a crooner, and he sang it beautifully, but the power in Elvis’s voice is unmatched. There has never been another then and now that could match that beautiful baritone voice. Please listen to If I Can Dream. Maybe his best song ever. Try to learn the back story of it, and why it was so important to him.
Elvis is truly the greatest vocalist of all times because he put so much emotion into his performances. Much more than any other great vocalist could ever do.
I agree , however , i'm very disappointed where is ranked in world greatest voices... Of course, I totally disagree with rankings but I am sure my bias shows😊
Frank's version is great, but Elvis' version is amazing, beautiful, emotional, powerful, passionate, sentimentally mixed with certain regrets! When he sings..."regrets, i had a few"....and then the strings start to play. Goosebumps!!! Even his bodylanguage is different. The man who can't stand still, hardly moves while singing this song and that's what makes it so very special and impressive to me! When i first heard Elvis version it was like hearing " My Way" for the very first time. Thanks for playing and reacting to this gem!
@@charlotte6268 Thanks my big! ❤️ This song is so special in every way. And when Elvis gives his voice to this beautiful song, then.. .....🎶 🎶 🎶 Big sis how are you and yours. How do you feel? I often look for you, but can't always find you. Sending love to my one and only sis! 👭🏻☀️🌻💞
There he is...looking like royalty and singing like a king. I know Frank Sinatra's version..but Elvis version ALWAYS brings chills and tears....ALWAYS. For me..the lyrics to this song belong to Elvis too... Bravo Elvis !!!⚡⚡ It's hard to comprehend that he thought he would be forgotten... ❤️⚡
Elvis's version, hands down. Frank's was great but the emotion that Elvis brings out , goes straight to the heart and soul. No one has or will ever, compare.
I only knew Elvis’ version for most of my life. My mom was a huge fan so that’s probably a good reason why, lol. I heard Frank’s and I was like, “Eh..” 😆..I relate the phrase, “My way” to Elvis so much that every time I look at my bottle of Armani My Way perfume I hear him singing the lyrics 😂 🤷🏻♀️. I also highly recommend checking out his version of “Bridge Over Troubled Water” if you have not already. Absolutely stunning.
I think you hit the nail on the head. Sinatra’s version is timeless. Everything he did was fantastic. BUT, Elvis’s version rips your heart out of your chest and brings the toughest to tears. I’m so thankful we have each version to pull from depending on what we need in the moment. Thank God we have both!
I think this is my new favorite reaction of yours! Just seeing all the emotions cross your face, makes me so glad we live in a world that has Elvis' music. ❤
Deus nos enviou um anjo em forma de humano para nos alegrar mas não por muito tempo...lógico que elvis não era humano e sim um anjo de luz enviado por DEUS !!!
Elvis is the best....hands down! Elvis shows so much emotion as he always does! ❤️ I feel like if Elvis was here today, he would be like me and most of the older generation...no question about it...he would probably be singing the way that he always did. This stuff today is not music, it is garbage and I refuse to listen to it. I love the older music 🎶. Elvis is still the King as far as I'm concerned.
I was there and watched Elvis do this live in 1976 and it was beyond powerful! so yeah I've gotta go with Elvis's version LOL. What a voice, what a man.
Hands down, Elvis did it the best!! Elvis put so much feeling and emotion into this and far exceeds Frank's. No disrespect to Frank - just different versions of this classic. I sure miss EP!
Elvis did a lot of cover songs in both his recordings and in his live performances. In almost every case, he out performed the original. I would have to give the nod to Bobby Hatfield for Unchained Melody, simply because it was so unique and perfect, but Elvis’ version was still magnificent. His voice was just so strong that he could sing anything. I once saw an opera singer who said Elvis could have been a great opera singer if he had had the training.
My daughter Sarah died unexpectedly at 36 years old. She as I loved Elvis. I had this played at her funeral. This Seemed appropriate being who sang it and what the words say...described my Sarah. RIP
Elvis could make any song marvelous. They're both good singing it and put in their own spin and voice. Elvis a beautiful and handsome handsome man. Can't help not taking my eyes off him. From a fan of many decades. Thank you for your reaction on Elvis' performance.
This song was Elvis's life. I love both versions but Elvis is the clear winner for me.
Elvis lived this song an is by far the GREATEST ENTERTAINER OF ALL TIME. No auto tune no pitch correction just pure perfection.
Elvis. Hands down.
Absolutely Elvis
No contest, Elvis owned every song he sang.
👌

Elvis is the best, definitely
Elvis didn't just sing the song with pure emotion.......he was pure emotion!!!

Absolutely agree! 💯. Every word of this song resonates his life. “MY WAY” will always be synonymous with Elvis.❤
Elvis sang with his heart and soul…
Frank talks the song through, where Elvis sings it like he singing it to the world with passion as if he did it his way! No comparison !! ELVIS hands down !!
No one can sing like Elvis. Frank Sinatra just sang, no emotions, no feelings. Just singing.
That's some very crazy statement. Frank was a way better singer and composer.
Indeed stunning and remember frank didnt care for the song sang it live for the fans but elvis lived it as we all do.
Definitely Elvis
No competition Elvis wins hands down, no one can put emotion in a song like Elvis did. He will always be the cream of the crop, no one can ever come close to his talent.
Without a shadow of a doubt Elvis. Every song he sung he made it hes own. Never ever another Elvis! Agree music today is not music!! Ty
ELVIS
They each did it 'their way'. I do love Elvis's voice better, I admit.
Elvis just puts that extra emotion into it that just puts it over the top
Elvis’ version of “Bridge Over Troubled Water” is so beautiful and touching, it’s the BEST!
Simply. Beautiful ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥. Definitely. E. L. V. I. S. 🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶💞💞
"What Now My Love" is an awesome display of his vocals....simply unbelievable!
Absolutely
Elvis hands down all hail the king
Totally agree absolutely ELVIS! 😍😍
Elvis is telling us his life story, I love Elvis's version. the emotion he put into this song i felt.
I agree 100%
he did it his way did he?
then why do Elvis fans believe he should have got rid of the controlling colonel?
Zappa fan, erzähle deine erbärmliche Geschichte, hahahaha hahahaha
@@bwana-ma-coo-bah425
His way was to keep the colonel.
@@lindasuarez1050 if Elvis didn't keep the colonel the colonel would have exposed Elvis and ended Elvis's career.
It's elvis, no debate. Won't see better than that.
I agree with you.. Elvis makes every song better❤❤❤❤

Elvis definitely did it the Best
Elvis Presley was telling his Fans something

Elvis for sure.
Elvis all day!!!,
Written by Paul Anka, sung fantastic by Frank Sinatra, sung with perfection and 100% passion by Elvis.
There are great singers and wonderful singers and fabulous singers but only one Elvis.

Elvis over Frank any day.
Any time !
Elvis no doubt
Elvis always
Frank sang the song. Elvis LIVED the song. Elvis forever😊❤️

Elvis hands down, mostly because you could tell he FELT it deep down!!!!
