Definitely Elvis was the best! Yes, it is a very iconic song and you would not expect anyone to try to sing it after Frank. Elvis indeed was the only one who could outshine Frank with this one
Beautiful from the beginning to the end....❤❤❤
His voice was like the rolling thunder off...from the heavens....just wow....tq
No contest, Elvis owned every song he sang.
👌
For sure looking for a song with my name in it I chose SweetCaroline. Never hand a song you wrote to Elvis. Every song someone sang that became popular and it got in Elvis’ hands was gone for good. Just saying.
"MY WAY" is Elvis's life....no one does the song better! It is so easy to forget that, even though Elvis was and is a superstar, he was also a man. A man who had disappointments, feelings, struggles, and insecurities. He always tried his best to give his all to his fans....which he did. It's just so sad it cost him so much. Rest in peace Elvis, Yes, you did it your way, and it was wonderful!
Absolutely agree! 💯. Every word of this song resonates his life. “MY WAY” will always be synonymous with Elvis.❤
Elvis didn't just sing the song with pure emotion.......he was pure emotion!!!
To me the two versions are very different- Frank’s is great, velvet voice and all …but Elvis puts his ALL into it, and his range is amazing. My vote goes to Elvis.
No one can sing like Elvis. Frank Sinatra just sang, no emotions, no feelings. Just singing.
This song was Elvis's life. I love both versions but Elvis is the clear winner for me.
Frank talks the song through, where Elvis sings it like he singing it to the world with passion as if he did it his way! No comparison !! ELVIS hands down !!
Elvis’ version of “Bridge Over Troubled Water” is so beautiful and touching, it’s the BEST!
Elvis is telling us his life story, I love Elvis's version. the emotion he put into this song i felt.
I agree 100%
he did it his way did he?
then why do Elvis fans believe he should have got rid of the controlling colonel?
Zappa fan, erzähle deine erbärmliche Geschichte, hahahaha hahahaha
@@bwana-ma-coo-bah425
His way was to keep the colonel.
@@lindasuarez1050 if Elvis didn't keep the colonel the colonel would have exposed Elvis and ended Elvis's career.
Written by Paul Anka, sung fantastic by Frank Sinatra, sung with perfection and 100% passion by Elvis.
Elvis lived this song an is by far the GREATEST ENTERTAINER OF ALL TIME. No auto tune no pitch correction just pure perfection.
"What Now My Love" is an awesome display of his vocals....simply unbelievable!
Absolutely
Frank was a crooner, and he sang it beautifully, but the power in Elvis’s voice is unmatched. There has never been another then and now that could match that beautiful baritone voice. Please listen to If I Can Dream. Maybe his best song ever. Try to learn the back story of it, and why it was so important to him.
I live in Memphis Tennessee where Elvis had his main home. We would see him around town a lot when he was home. He liked to go to the Cadillac car dealer a look at cars. He was known to buy unsuspecting shoppers new cars more than once. He really was a wonderful, God loving man. He is missed even now.
Elvis is truly the greatest vocalist of all times because he put so much emotion into his performances. Much more than any other great vocalist could ever do.
Frank's version is great, but Elvis' version is amazing, beautiful, emotional, powerful, passionate, sentimentally mixed with certain regrets!
When he sings..."regrets, i had a few"....and then the strings start to play. Goosebumps!!!
Even his bodylanguage is different. The man who can't stand still, hardly moves while singing this song and that's what makes it so very special and impressive to me!
When i first heard Elvis version it was like hearing " My Way" for the very first time. Thanks for playing and reacting to this gem!
Beautifully said sis 💕⚡🌻
@@charlotte6268
Thanks my big! ❤️
This song is so special in every way. And when Elvis gives his voice to this beautiful song, then.. .....🎶 🎶 🎶
Big sis how are you and yours. How do you feel?
I often look for you, but can't always find you.
Sending love to my one and only sis! 👭🏻☀️🌻💞
There are great singers and wonderful singers and fabulous singers but only one Elvis.
Elvis hands down, mostly because you could tell he FELT it deep down!!!!
I think you hit the nail on the head.
Sinatra’s version is timeless. Everything he did was fantastic.
BUT, Elvis’s version rips your heart out of your chest and brings the toughest to tears.
I’m so thankful we have each version to pull from depending on what we need in the moment.
Thank God we have both!
There he is...looking like royalty and singing like a king. I know Frank Sinatra's version..but Elvis version
ALWAYS brings chills and tears....ALWAYS. For me..the lyrics to this song belong to Elvis too... Bravo Elvis !!!⚡⚡
It's hard to comprehend that he thought he would be forgotten... ❤️⚡
Elvis's version, hands down. Frank's was great but the emotion that Elvis brings out , goes straight to the heart and soul. No one has or will ever, compare.
They each did it 'their way'. I do love Elvis's voice better, I admit.
It's elvis, no debate. Won't see better than that.
Elvis over Frank any day.
Any time !
Elvis no doubt
Definitely Elvis
ELVIS
Elvis is perfect Voice and performance the King👑
I only knew Elvis’ version for most of my life. My mom was a huge fan so that’s probably a good reason why, lol. I heard Frank’s and I was like, “Eh..” 😆..I relate the phrase, “My way” to Elvis so much that every time I look at my bottle of Armani My Way perfume I hear him singing the lyrics 😂 🤷🏻♀️.
I also highly recommend checking out his version of “Bridge Over Troubled Water” if you have not already. Absolutely stunning.
Elvis Presley was telling his Fans something
Elvis!! He's singing about his life.
Yes, that's exactly what i feel when i hear his version!
He really did it his way! 💘
i don't think so -- many things in his life he was unable to accomplish & he grew more despondent as the yrs. dragged on; he wanted to do other things but it never happened for him
@@alameas6358 i don't think so -- many things in his life he was unable to accomplish & he grew more despondent as the yrs. dragged on; he wanted to do other things but it never happened for him
Elvis is the best, definitely
ELVIS was like no other...NO COMPARISON. HANDS DOWN HE DID IT BEST!
Hands down, Elvis did it the best!! Elvis put so much feeling and emotion into this and far exceeds Frank's. No disrespect to Frank - just different versions of this classic. I sure miss EP!
Frank "did it his way" and hit a home run! ELVIS "did it his way" and knocked it out of the park!!!
@JustaFan Miller * 👍🤣👍🤣👍🤣👍🤣
Elvis is the best....hands down! Elvis shows so much emotion as he always does! ❤️
I feel like if Elvis was here today, he would be like me and most of the older generation...no question about it...he would probably be singing the way that he always did. This stuff today is not music, it is garbage and I refuse to listen to it. I love the older music 🎶. Elvis is still the King as far as I'm concerned.
Indeed stunning and remember frank didnt care for the song sang it live for the fans but elvis lived it as we all do.
Elvis hands down all hail the king
THE KING!!! ALWAYS, EVERYWHERE AND OF EVERYTHING!
I love BOTH however, Elvis' RAW EMOTION makes this song so much MORE !!!!
Without a shadow of a doubt Elvis. Every song he sung he made it hes own. Never ever another Elvis! Agree music today is not music!! Ty
Elvis, all the way!!
Elvis, by far! They don't make em' like they used to as you mentioned, "autotuned".
Elvis was the best! Hands down!! I was lucky enough to see him in concert in 1974. He was awesome.
I think this is my new favorite reaction of yours! Just seeing all the emotions cross your face, makes me so glad we live in a world that has Elvis' music. ❤
The Best Version ever Only 1 Elvis 😍🤩
He was definitely the best!! I love all his songs. Elvis forever and always ❤️🙏❤️❤️🥰
Elvis All the Way
Always Elvis
Elvis version is by far my favourite. “What Now My Love” from this same concert really shows Elvis range, Frank also recorded this song
I was there and watched Elvis do this live in 1976 and it was beyond powerful! so yeah I've gotta go with Elvis's version LOL. What a voice, what a man.
100% Elvis, the song fits Elvis, it is him singing his story.
A month later I say Elvis hands down! Without a a doubt.
Elvis. No question!
Elvis.
You can feel Elvis telling his story!! Love both versions but I prefer Elvis!!
That’s why he is the king 🤴🤴🤴👑👑👑ELVIS
Simply. Beautiful ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥. Definitely. E. L. V. I. S. 🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶💞💞
Franks version is brilliant but I think Elvis did a different but better version.... so much passion
Elvis
Elvis all the way.
My daughter Sarah died unexpectedly at 36 years old. She as I loved Elvis. I had this played at her funeral. This Seemed appropriate being who sang it and what the words say...described my Sarah. RIP
No doubt Elvis
Elvis!! So much emotion I have never felt like this listening to Sinatra
POWERFUL!!!!! I vote Elvis too. I loved your reaction
Frank sang the song. Elvis LIVED the song. Elvis forever😊❤️
@Prairie22 * You got THAT right👍👍👍👍
What can I say?.... It's Elvis!! Always bringing the feels ❤
ELVIS ALL THE WAY!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤
No doubt he does it justice. I love his songs Kentucky Rain and In the Getto.
Kentucky Rain is one of my faves as well.
Elvis did a lot of cover songs in both his recordings and in his live performances. In almost every case, he out performed the original. I would have to give the nod to Bobby Hatfield for Unchained Melody, simply because it was so unique and perfect, but Elvis’ version was still magnificent. His voice was just so strong that he could sing anything. I once saw an opera singer who said Elvis could have been a great opera singer if he had had the training.
I think it was Placido Domingo.
The King.................👑
ELVIS did it best and with so much feeling. I've never been a Frank Sinatra fan...but all my life an ELVIS fan...until the day I die....
Definitely Elvis! His Vibration in his voice is unique.
So glad I got to see him sing this live. ❤❤❤❤❤
elvis is the best ever ho sing this song.
So glad you picked Elvis! What a voice!!!
Elvis definitely did it the Best
Love the reaction. Elvis version is much better. It has feeling and emotion . More Elvis please 💕💕💕💕
I responded the same way ❤️ when I fell in love with Elvis, you got the look 🤣🥰 Elvis does everything best!
Always Elvis. Always.
Both Elvis and Frank did it best doing it their way.
Elvis. Hands down.
Absolutely Elvis
Elvis sang with his heart and soul…
Elvis he did it with passion.
No comparison, ELVIS all the way.💕👑
Have you ever reacted to an Aussie legend - John Farnham?
I was almost 13 when he died. I was and am still devastated. The greatest of all time. He will never be matched or forgotten. I love you Elvis❤
Elvis all day!!!,
Elvis could take any song and make it his!!😊
Elvis always
Elvis for the win. Used this on my mom's memorial slideshow. Sooo much more emotion and power!!!
Definitely Elvis!
There are 3 songs that I thought that Elvis sung better than the originals. The first is bridge over troubled waters absolutely incredible, second is what we just watched my way, thirdly unchained melody in one of his last performances, June 21st 1977 as much as he was poorly his performance of the song was nothing short of breathtaking. The whole concert was amazing. Keep up the good work on ya channel. 👍👏👏👏
Definitely ELVIS!
I bet you will NEVER go straight to Frank's version's again!!! Yes Frank was a wonderful singer, and this song is associated with him. But, once most people hear ELVIS sing it; well, THAT IS IT!!! ELVIS has the ability to take any song, in my opinion, and make it appear that it is personal...as if the song is about him! He does this with "My Way"! When you listen to it, it's as if it were written about his life! I LOVE ELVIS, could never deny it. And I am not a huge Frank Sinatra fan. But, there have been songs of his that I thought were good; but, every song that ELVIS sang was better, in my opinion, than previous singers, sometimes even the original singer of the songs! ELVIS was so gifted...he had the best voice I have ever heard! NO one compares to him! So, of course, ELVIS sang "MY WAY" the best!!! Thank you for you wonderful reaction. I always enjoy your them!!!
Always Elvis! Such passion?
Oops! Should have been exclamation mark, not question mark.
This song is definitely Elvis’ life story. It gets me every damn time.
Who did it best? BOTH! For all their differences, they were both men who lived their lives their way, no apologies, no excuses, and little regret.
Well you got your answer, Elvis
