Wow, I am so proud of you young man. You totally get Elvis talented vocals. He reaches into your soul. I get goosebumps every time I hear is unique voice. Love him forever.
I'll listen to anything by Elvis BUT i absolutely LOVE any of his live performances.. its so wonderful to see him, his expressions, his emotions, and his sense of humor.. RIP Elvis
No matter how many times I've seen this video of Elvis singing this song I will never get tired of seeing this this man has a way that makes you feel it deep down in your heart and plus he was so handsome to look at too
Elvis was the greatest, his versatility and passion unmatched. But never let it go without saying that this was probably the best band/orchestra ever on tour.
You just witnessed the greatest entertainer this world will ever see. No auto tune no pitch correction just pure perfection. Elvis gave his all with every word every move, the power, passion, emotion, control and charisma like non other. When Elvis sang you could feel it not just hear it. Elvis had it all the looks the moves the voice of an angel with the power of a God. Elvis gave all to what was most important to him HIS FANS. Elvis was a gift to us all from God himself. This song really tells the story of Elvis's life as he lived it. Long live the KING
1.5 BILLION THUMBS UP SEEN IN FOURTEEN COUNTRIES.. NO OTHER LIKE HIM AND NEVER WILL BE ... MAY HIM AND HIS LOVE ONES BE TOGETHER LOOKING DOWN KNOWING WE STILL HEAR AND LOVE HIM...❤❤❤
ELVIS ... YES, THAT VOICE! LOVED HIM. I LIVED IN MEMPHIS. WENT TO GRACELAND MORE THAN ONCE. HIS VOICE ... SMOOTH, DEEP, SOULFUL, LIKE VELVET. NO ONE WILL EVER COMPARE OR HAVE A BETTER VOICE. THIS SONG, MY WAY IS HIS SONG. NO DISRESPECT TO FRANK SINATRA, BUT ELVIS DID IT BEST AND HAD SO MUCH FEELING AND POWER IN HIS VOICE AND OVERCAME SO MUCH IN LIFE. HE DID IT HIS WAY!
My father, mother and I watched this. I remember it was a cold winter day and it was beautiful in Hawaii. I don't think the smile left my mother's face for a month.
I grew up an Elvis fan; love him and his voice. He was a kind man. In fact, he loved singing gospel songs too and he wanted to be close to God! He is alive; search for . Here:
I subbed a while ago but it's always good to see you doing Elvis. Fun reaction for sure and that is such an incredible performance. I don't know what you've done before not so I can't remember, but there's so many great things to choose from. Bridge Over Troubled Water from his 1970 live Vegas performance in the white jumpsuit, but now my love from this same show and also American Trilogy from this same show one of the greatest live performances ever, and probably one of his greatest live performances, the 1968 Comeback Special Canali where he did the tribute to dr. Martin Luther King and just the general strike of the time rather than the classic Christmas song they wanted him to do to close it out. It's so incredible and I bet you've done these and I won't know till I go look through your playlist or search or whatever, but just know that there is so much good stuff out there.
@Dub Zer0- This song was originally done by Frank Sinatra but IMO Elvis did it better. Have you ever Been to Graceland in Memphis? That is Elvis house and you can go tour it. Its been open to the public since 1982. Its the second biggest attraction to the White House. I went one time and its great. Everyone that is a fan of Elvis should at leasts go once in there lifetime.
Nobody brings it in the way Elvis does, this was Frank Sinatra's orignal signature song and Elvis asked Frank he would be ok with him singing it and Frank said sure - but then when Frank heard how Elvis knocked it outta the park he was actually mad for awhile because it eclipsed Franks own version - but he got over it as they had been friends before that - I like many think Elvis' version is better but Elvis often did that with others songs - how could he not with that regal voice, stage presence and dripping charisma.
This is Frank Sinatra`s song but Elvis made every song his own. That may not be fair to the original artists but hey, that`s life. Elvis was the first solo artist in the world to perform live via satellite. This concert had more views than The First Moon Landing. Imagine that!
THIS HAWAII VIA SATELITE TO ALOT OF COUNTRIES ABOUT 1.6 BILLION PEOPLE TUNED IN. THEY SAY SOME PEOPLE DIDN'T HAVE THE MEANS FOR THE T.V. SO THEY GATHERED ALSO IN LARGE NUMBERS TOGETHER.. IMAGINE HE HAD ALL TECH. LIKE WE HAVE TODAY. THANK YOU FOR BRINGING HIM BACK TO THE STAGE. 💞💞💞
That’s right. The whole world loved Elvis, if only Elvis knew how much he was loved. People from every country mourned his death and continue to pay tribute. Elvis signs to Jesus now.🙏🏼 Rest In Peace precious man. TCB⚡️
Elvis sang My Way in1973 in Aloha From Hawaii and in 1977 in Elvis in Concert. Both were very great but somehow in 1977 it seemed almost a little more emotional.
Please watch the community black eccept Elvis Echo, part 1n2 how good he was with people aroused him, thank you for your rections, still love n miss him all this years😭😭😭😭😭
People (45 years after he's gone) still call Elvis King of Rock'n roll, but he did not like that, he considerd that the only King was God, but I consider him to be the King of Music, but what do you think, is he good enough to be called a Music King? Here are some of his Gospel songs: Amazing Graze, Take me home precious lord, How great though art, You'll never walk alone, You gave me a mountin, Crying in the chapel, Why me Lord (written by Kris Kristofferson), Unchained melody, I'm not sure if it's a gospel song but Walk a mile in my shoes and many more... . If you prefer ballad songs then look at these: My Way, Suspicius minds, In the Ghetto (written by Mac Davies), Memories (written by Mac Davies), If I can dream that is a tribute (parts of it is taken directly from the I can dream speach by MLK) to Martin Luther King JR and senator Robert Kennedy, What now my love, Walk a mile in my shoes (listen to the words in the beginning), Welcome to my world, Make The World Go Away, Bridge Over Troubled Water, An American Thrillergy, Hurt, Sweet Caroline, Just Pretend, What now my love, Are you lonesome tonight (laughing versin, or not), Oh Danny Boy (for you Irish people), a song that many might not know that he sung it is this one Yellow rose of Texas, well remember that he sang over 700 songs... There are some videos of when Elvis joking and messing up, he loved to joke around and pretend that he did not have control, but he had total control, he acctually conducted his musicans and back up choirs all the time !! He is the only person to have 2 records gone to sell Gold and 2 to to sell Platinum since he died. Elvis is also in almost every genre of Music Hall of Fame (5 that I'm sure of), no one else is in more then perhaps 2. Not bad for someone who never took a single singing lesson, yes he sang in church so perhaps he learned a little there, right? . Something else that people tend to overlook: He always conducts his musicans and backup singers, he never gets credit for being able to do that... Then imagen you are a singer, you have great musicans, you have great backup singers, no Guest Artists, no Autotune, no Lipsinging and no Fireworks, now all is about your skill, could you handle that pressure? That is what Elvis did in over 1000 concerts, despite having problems with his health, like his Glaucoma, the headlights must have hurt his eyes like crazy... He sang over 700 songs, I wonder how he could remember them all, he never vrote a song himself, so he had to remember other peoples songs, well that in it self is amazing in it self... By the way he had Glucomea and that must have been difficult being in the headlights all the time, that could be why he sometimes closes his eyes, but also sometimes squinting !! Elvis suits was made of 100% Polyester, or 100 cotton (I'm not sure witch one), it was originally a karate suit, it was very light, but it was hot, so it made him sweat a lot, he got some bad press about that, but if you give it all then you will sweat, it should be positive, right? About the deep basevoice JD Sumner (a member of The Stamps Quartet) is the Basso Profundo, I think that it's called that, it is the deepest base singer there is... About him helping others, look at this: ua-cam.com/video/CrJ1c9tm-C0/v-deo.html Elvis made a show where all the money went to build the Memorial after Pearl Harbour, He talked to the nations about taking the Poliovaccin, Elvis took the first injection himself and he helped to start St Jude hospital against cancer, he also gave away juwelery, gave away cars, gave away houses to total strangers... He also have a own organisation that helps people get out of Homelessness... A thing that perhaps you did not know: Elvis NEVER had a show OUTSIDE OF USA, NOT EVEN 1 !!! Video of Mohammad Ali speech after Elvis died: ua-cam.com/video/PO8Kq_3KTyI/v-deo.html I have to say that I loved being at Graceland and seeing his home, first we were at the house in Tupelo where he lived in his early years, he was born there!!! You don't have a guide taking you on a tour, you can go all over yourself, but stay outside of the ropes and do not attempt to go upstairs, the outside is huge, so is the house, but you don't realise that from the front of the house... I don't regret for a second that I was there, or that I stood at his grave site and said out loud that this is for the humanitarian Elvis/person/man and then I gave him a military salute, the others there just looked at me and asked if I didn't like his music. So I told them that he was clearly one of the best singers and artists ever, but I loved his big heart more, he helped so many people without getting credit for it, he didn't want the credit of helping others, he did it out of love and respect and to me that is what true charity is all about… This PLACE (GRACELAND) should be a protected part of music history and also American history forever, I think that people will keep coming for years and years and years to come !! Elvis did lots of things for America to, he helped to avoid getting Polio (he took the vaccin in a tv show that made the intrest for taking the vaccin go from 5 % to 80 % in a few days), he helped to defeat Cancer with helping to build St Judes, he helped to build the Memorial over Pearl Harbour and many other things !!!
My boy always did it his way and that is why he was and always will be GOAT. No one could ever be better.
He is the GOAT
Wow, I am so proud of you young man. You totally get Elvis talented vocals. He reaches into your soul. I get goosebumps every time I hear is unique voice. Love him forever.
I'll listen to anything by Elvis BUT i absolutely LOVE any of his live performances.. its so wonderful to see him, his expressions, his emotions, and his sense of humor.. RIP Elvis
In addition to visiting Graceland, everyone should see his birth home In Tupelo to truly appreciate his rags to riches story.
This will be played at my funeral.
No matter how many times I've seen this video of Elvis singing this song I will never get tired of seeing this this man has a way that makes you feel it deep down in your heart and plus he was so handsome to look at too
I love Elvis, so I understand
That's a standing ovation right there. Thank you Elvis
God bless you and yours young man and God bless the USA
Elvis was the greatest, his versatility and passion unmatched. But never let it go without saying that this was probably the best band/orchestra ever on tour.

Elvis donated all the money from this concert to the building of the Arizona Memorial in Hawaii!!
No, that was his concert in the 60s when he returned from the Army. This concert benefited the Kui Lee Cancer Foundation.

No one can sing like Elvis (aka Pastor Bob Joyce)!
He was so ill but his voice never gave out. 😢

Love the reaction. I can see why they called Elvis the King.
He performed For the crowd, But he sang to Peoples Souls.
I feel same way, that voice!

See he is sitting strange for Elvis
My Way is a Frank Sinatra song. Sinatra is the original. Elvis made any song his own.
Goat meant he was a Capricorn, astrology sign, the Goat.
He was great 👍
