Hi there. Neighbour to the north (Canada). Thank you for the great overview video of this truck. I just bought the exact same model (pick it up in a few days). You did an excellent job with the overview. Thank you
Great information and thorough video. Love the channel. I just purchased a 2500hd. LTZ Z71 gasser. I have a question on my options I hope ypu can answer. Mine has multiplex tail gate does it not have power up and own with that option? Also, when looking up the Chevy build and price page it is confusing about the LTZ premium package. I also have the same LTZ premium option, but the description on the page says it comes with 20” chrome wheels. Is this correct or is it an additional up charge for the 20”
I see it does list 20" chrome wheels under that package but it doesn't change the 18" wheels on the build and price tool. It could be an error with the tool online or incorrect information. Sometimes depending on the other packages, it removes the larger wheel option (such as Z71 or another package) but I am not 100% sure. As for the tailgate, it is not power up/down with any multi-flex option.
@@CarsMadeSimple Thank you for the reply. I had the vin number check from Chevy and the rpo codes indicate 18” wheels. So like you said probably a print error. Also mpg so far is now where close to what you are getting. Hope it improves
So I have a 2020 2500hd diesel. Love the power train but the horrible electrical problems that plaque these 2020+ trucks is just wrong. Losing trailer brakes and trailer connections randomly is not, "Working As Designed" like GM says. Ford tows the same trailers without issues.... These problems are listed all over the forums. Check it out before you buy.
I have the exact same truck other than the Z71 package. folding steps, and the fifth wheel package and I paid probably from sticker price $200 less than what you've shown. Makes me irritated to see how dealerships will F their customers over.
It literally turns it into a 3500 without having to put the actual numbers on the door stickers, which there are reasons to not want the 3500 capacities on your truck.

Can someone explain what the max trailering package is on the 2024 2500’s?
The Max Trailering package includes the 3500 HD Frame,
3500 HD Leaf Springs, 12" Rear Axle and 3500 HD
Shock Package.
It literally turns it into a 3500 without having to put the actual numbers on the door stickers, which there are reasons to not want the 3500 capacities on your truck.
$82 grand LOL who's buying these things? Whoever they are, dealers are gonna run out of customers like that soon.
