Love watching these videos about trucks because I love them. What's sad is the manufacturers don't love us hard working customers. These vehicles are for hedge fund managers. Not middle America.
@@sbenn6917 you don't know much about trucks than because they haven't been that cheap since the 90's. My dad bought a 2500 hd lt crew cab in 2004. With gas vortec. He had leather and heated seats. It cost him 50k. The diesel version was 57
so this past weekend we drove all 3, all 3 fully loaded. the Gmc was nice but the most uncomfortable, seats sucked. the Ram was a Mega Cab short bed, very nice to drive and i am a Dodge guy, but the noises coming from under the truck even surprised the salesman. the F350 was a platinum Tremor. great interior, good ride, stupid power. we ended up getting the Ford, 1st ford since my 2001 7.3 6 speed. that was the best truck i ever had

Ive always liked the stances on the powerstrokes, idk if its true or not but i feel like they have a bit more ground clearance with just stock suspension compared to the others.
Now I’ll admit I’m a bit of a GM fanboy but we had a 23 Ram dually mega cab at work and that was one of the worst riding trucks I’ve ever been in. Even no trailer if you sat in back seat you’d feel every single bump in the road
I test drove a Ram 2500 two years ago. It was a pig. Felt really floaty. I then Test Drove a Silverado 2500 a few days later. What a difference. It still had the 8" screen but the drive was so much better. Haven't been in a Ford yet.
Interesting how narrow the Chevy looks compared to the Ford and Ram. I haven’t looked at specs to see if that’s actually the case but visually looks like it. Having said that I think the GMC and CHEVY are the best looking HD’s right now.
Chevy... The Allison transmission is just so much better. I guarantee it will last twice as long as the best made powerstroke transmissions. Also even if you add all the options it has to offer it still won't break the 100k$ price tag. But if you were to spec out. the ram or Ford all the way you're looking at like 130k a piece
The 10 speed Allison is not better. The old 6 speed was actually an Allison. Look up the 10 speed Allison vs the 10 speed Ford transmission teardown on here. The Ford is superior in every way.

I put 251k miles on a 2500 4x4, 207k miles on a 3500 dually and currently drive a 3500 dually. The first two were used mostly heavy towing. Guess how many needed suspensions rebuilt?

If one absolutely has to have the biggest wee nee of course it is Ford. Had two, a ‘15 and a ‘16. After having one CP-4 blow up…… no more. There are reasons that both RAM and GM quit using that POS. Ford says the failure rate is negligible. ( They don’t say what is actually is). But when one fails on YOU, it really doesn’t matter what they say. Then the dealers don’t have parts in stock, so even IF they warranty it your truck is down for a month. Other than that, they are all great trucks. Will pull way more than the average consumer will ever need. Drag race? WTF for? Buy a Mustang, Corvette, or Hellcat.

Best thing I did was trade in my 22 Ram Cummins. 4 recalls in the first 2 months with lack of parts availability. Your right knee hits the dash while you drive because the steering doesn’t telescope, but the pedals move 🤷🤣 Best thing I did was trade it in after it started going into regen everyday. This is a well documented problem, and Ram has its head up its ass so bad they can’t fix it, won’t fix it, or don’t care. Other issue is the lifter are failing another well documented problem. I’m now in a 2024 L5P Duramax. Took a big hit on my Ram, the Chevy Duramax is just a better truck (so far at least)
Ford's bed and bumper steps are laughable. I've owned multiply SuperDuty's over the years and I can say the addition of these bed & bumper steps is a real disappointment. I don't understand what #Ford is doing ! They literally copied the worst part of the Silverado. I am now leaning towards purchasing a RAM for my next heavy duty truck, this is due to the terrible looking redesigned SuperDuty. #FORD @Ford

I can tell you why ford is the only one that sells cars trucks to illegal people they just go there with there itin number and a passport of their country and that’s it you have your truck the other two they don’t do that
The RAM actually had the highest 5th wheel capacity of 19,900 conventional and 25k 5th wheel. The Ford is 22k and 22,900 and Chevy is 18,500 and 22,500. I am a Duramax guy. So, it was pretty easy to find this info.
Powerstroke, after all, these are HD trucks not limousines and for that reason I rarely buy above XLT. What I would be more interested in is how they tow relative to each other. In the end, that may be the better metric. Thanks for the content.
The gas engine options last just as long with way less issues and low maintenance cost. If you aren't towing over 15k regularly don't waste your money on these problem children.

Is there any difference between the f350 platinum high output and f350 platinum tremor high output when towing? Which one is better overall in your opinion?
If your towing in the flats all 3 will get the job done as smooth as butter. IF you are towing out west with all those hill and grades then your going to want that Cummins. The engine break on that engine is far superior to the other two. All three will get you up the hill but coming down the hill safely without burning up your brakes is a whole different story.
You should start saying more details like Autobild Germany about Warranty,durability,fuel economy,engine protection underneath,how is driving those trucks over 130kmh....

In the long run the Chevy will end up costing a lot more. That's like comparing a Walmart tire to a Michelin, Walmart is a lot cheaper up front but the Michelin will out last it 5 times as long. So they should be selling Chevrolets at Walmart.
The new Allison isn't an Allison. There's a transmission comparison of the Ford and GM 10 speeds on UA-cam. The Ford is built far heavier. The Ram Aisin is probably the best, with the Ford being second.

The Ram being over $106k for a truck with a 15 year old cab and a 6 speed is laughable. I love my 2500 Cummins but Stelantis has lost their dang mind.

Price matters. The Chevy was $10k less than both the Ford and Ram. Looks better too.
I might be cheaper up front, but in the long run that 10K that you initially saved will end up costing you a lot more.

Ford offers the 2nd step for women as most are too short to reach but you would be surprised how many women drive these trucks because of horses.
