If you need custom FAN Curve and not constant % fan speed then you need to watch my other video where we "hack" that into Intel Arc Control Panel here: ua-cam.com/video/biTl_M_REeI/v-deo.html No W overclocking there though well except to the stock 228W max limit. EDIT: You watching this video ... go here: ua-cam.com/video/QXoJ3Vx9XAM/v-deo.html Intel finally added fan control in the new drivers released!
Thanks for pointing this out! I'm using it with Intel Arc A750 and can finally tune fanspeed. I could not edit the config file from your other video so this is the only way i can adjust fanspeed! It works on Windows 10!
@@graphicarc weren't you already getting like 2750MHz even before this power limit? I know Intel GPUs overclock pretty weirdly, it often happens that you can set the frequency way up but it will never reach it until you raise the voltage up as well. Other GPUs just crash if you increase frequency too much and voltage isn't enough. Maybe it's possible that Intel GPU can even get different performance at same clockspeed. For example 2700MHz at 220W limit could produce lower performance than 2700MHz at 320W limit
How do you manage to keep your card so chilled under such high wattage and clock speed? I could push so much more, but I'm concerned about the thermals! (A770 16Gb LE)
I am wondering myself how my A770 can be so chilled under such loads with 100% fan speed though. Not that there is much difference from 80% but yeah I doubt open testbench has something to do with it. I have to open it up sooner or later to inspect what is going on but don't have the time right now. On AUTO fan curve my GPU overclocked usually sits at around 70C.
@@graphicarc That's absolutely wild. At a full 228 draw /w 100% fan speeds my own can run from ~74 - 78C. I would really like to see any info you have on your thermals! Thanks for your time, really enjoy your videos!
@@jaredbush1866 Yeah sure. 78C at 100% with 228W is insane ... well wouldn't be for me if I didn't have my sample here but yeah. I would say maybe repaste in the future but you will need a lot of glue to put it back together xD
Since bios changes are with driver updates (at least on LE), we can assume this might have happened? I could be wrong still havent gotten my hands on bifrost to test.
Very nice Video, but sadly it seem to not work anymore with trying to set the Watts up to 320. My Maximum of Card is 276 and i can´t modify it. I have now to find out what frequency and voltage i can get out of my Card with 276 Watts. If you can help me there, it would be really nice
Hey there! I have an ARC 750 Pci-express 4.0, an x99 k9 Pci-express 3.0 motherboard, and a Xeon ES2640. I'm experiencing a serious issue with my motherboard and was hoping you could help me out. Thank you so much!

Hi . How can I ensure that my GPU stays under 10 watts when idle? It currently consumes 40 watts when idle. Can I also set this in the file shown here in the video?
Sadly its not possible to have 15w on idle on most motherboards? You need to set some things up including power saving feature in power plan (got video for that). 40w in idle for a770 is "normal".

That is wierd as I tested this on A750 Asrock and it worked just fine :) talking about the config edit not the acer bifrost predator software.
Thank you friend. Always improving. This is great.👍
Pop filter coming, already got the camera setup for livestream ... slowly improving stuff yeah ;) happy OC!
@@graphicarc Do you run a770 overclocked all the time? At 270W? No overheating problems long term? Was 1.17V too much?
@@paulboyce8537 Not all the time as you can see in the videos. Only when I am gaming "offline" and no apparently it can do 1.2v and be fine?
@@graphicarc I was looking at the other video and that I think was 1.16V and I saw 1.17V on this one I think. Great to hear there is room to move. 👍
Borderlands 3 was one of the best stability tests for me, and it can easily push the card over 300w. Saw ~350w with ~1.2v and 2750mhz.

my arc a770 is on max rpm alltime no matter what i do with fan control, there is a file or something that can be modified to configure or set the rpm?
You can set now in arc control center or use bifrost app to set fixed %.
the text in mine appears as a js file type should i change it?
I forced frequency the same way you changed the wattage in the predator software ;-)
Well that doesn't lock it to the frequency so it will downclock or oc. Didn't work that great for me so I just still use Arc OC tool.
