this is not true, i did this on my montior and even when fps is 70-90, it feel the choppiness, Gsync, vsync everything is on. tried with all kinds of monitors 120hz, 144hz, 165hz, 240hz, 360hz.. all of them same choppiness when its 70-90fps, but as soon as fps goes 120 and above, boom butter smooth experience. even if it drops to 100-110 fps.. the choppiness kicks in. i dont know what else to do… only option i see is upgrading to rtx 5090 and next gen cpu so fps always stays above 120

How would I revert if I didn't stop it before it selected my IGPU? And how would I go around disabling it for this?

The Luma line appears to support pcie 4.0 x8, and are designed to slot in the rare pcie 8 lane specific slot, and a pcie 16 lane slot. Being a matrox card, one would expect the drivers to be more focused on stability than intel. Matrox also made some cards adapted from amd's gcn1 architecture on their c line that were very stable and smooth operating; though, don't expect 60fps on modern titles. These cards are low end, and if used for gaming, are best paired with classics.

How is ARC performance impacted when limited to just 8 or 4 PCIE 4.0 lanes? I'm deciding between the Ryzen 7600 CPU and the 8600g CPU. The only reason the 8600g is in the running is to use the integrated RDNA 4 GPU for VR apps the ARC won't run, and it doesn't have a full 16 lane PCIE bus for dedicated GPUs.

All the FEAR games are playable on ARC with some mods on Ultrawide and good fps. It's been some time when i played those on A770-LE, and i don't remember what exactly had to be done but there are aolutions out there. Switched to 4080 Super so can't test right now, A770 is back in the box for now.

Hello! Thanks! No solution helped me. My Generals are with the mod. On the Nvidia video card, they go quietly, but on the Intel card they do not start in any way. The same message pops up every time. There is some nonsense with signs and something about dx8.1 written there. When I install vulcan, it outputs a log file. I can upload it to Google Drive if you want. I will keep trying to fix the game. It is a pity that the vulkan did not help. In games on dx 11, it works great and gives a lot of fps.

Solution for bad performance can be fixed "most of the time" with a piece of "software" ;) but for games not starting I think you need to head to that BIOS section of your computer, disable RAM XMP (DOCP) and try maybe again? If it works without then you know you need to optimize some timings/voltage... Besides the games in the video I also tested all of the Harry potter (DX8 game series), Silenthill 2 ... not a single game that I wasn't able to run with acceptable performance in most cases.

never buy this gpu if you are gonna play valorant, Valorant Fully upgraded their driver support to DirectX 12 and arc has degraded dx12 its a dx 12 card but its totally unstable in most of the games that require dx12 arc struggles with performance issues so think before buying it but in this price range this is a good buy it depends on your use.
