Your channel is surprisingly small given your quality of reviews. I have consistently liked your videos. Suggestion: Do experiment with including a synopsis of similar movies or films that seem like inspirations.

Thank you so much Bharat! It’s hard to breakthrough all the noise on UA-cam and I’m sure I could be doing something to promote the videos more but I think consistent content is really the best path to not burning out. Im interested in your suggestion, can I ask what more synopsis would add for you? I feel like the synopsis is usually the most “boring” part of the videos so I want to understand what you’d like about more of them. Thanks again for commenting.

I finally watched this movie based on your recommendation, I’d have to say I really liked this movie, I’m no fan of horror movie genre but had real fun watching this movie
You were right about approaching this movie as a comedy, they were lot of funny moments, like you mentioned even I have no idea was it meant to be intentional or unintentional
Overall I don’t think I will be checking out out brandon cronenberg’s filmography, I feel this kind of horror movies are really hit or miss for me, they really are my cup of tea, I like the visuals and cinematography but didn’t like the screenplay and wasn’t able connect with any of the characters
I know I shouldn’t making this comparison and it isn’t fair but I feel like David is much better director, Brandon feels like an amateur director I mean on a technical level

Thanks man, I'm glad the recommendation worked out. I agree if horror isn't your thing then BC's other movie Possessor isn't going to be your thing. Both movies have pretty stoic characters you can't form a connection to. I think that's because of his focus on the visuals he has in mind and general ~weird stuff~ he wants to do beyond tell a compelling story.
      Hope you'll keep watching!
