Because i have the smartest subscribers on UA-cam, one of them informed me, some propellers for instance of the RAF were wooden made and had brass leading edges, not silver ones. This is a great example of how this easy technique could be adapted to achieve different results: after priming paint the propeller with wooden textures, lay down some brass on the leading edges, then overpaint with the main colour and sand it gently. Et voilà.

You need to sand every layer. Иначе шагрень. Я не знаю, как это переводить на английский. Поверхность имеет структуру микро апельсиновая корка. И вообще, тут с масштабом меньше 72th выходит, что лучше использовать лаковые краски, они имеет крепче слой.

Абразив разных производителей ведёт себя по-разному. Можно и 2000 взять и наделать борозд.
А вообще, без абразива совсем никак. 😅
