Cool video man! Great format! I have noticed that once it’s good and hot if you put something in it that crates smoke you can really see the reburn in action.
Nice looking stove Rusty Mike. With all these Solo type stoves being shown on the various YT Channels, I'm just waiting for Mr Kenny at Open Air Adventures to show off his Cape Breton version... 😉😉
You are going to think I am nuts but here goes. I start fires in my wood stove with just 3 or 4 pages of newspaper and a wad (1 bales worth) of plastic haystring. it burns completely up and will burn long enough to get even wet wood started on fire. Never tried net wrap but I bet it would work just as well. Nice stove you have there.
Mr Paul I have never heard of anyone using hay bale twine. I have heard of using newspaper. Thats cool to hear your process. Whatever works and gets it going even wet wood is great to learn about
Best stove out there IMHO……keep the fire below the upper holes and it almost stays totally smokeless…..even when adding wood (Below) the upper holes. Bonfire is a great size……and very mobile 👍🔥🪵👏🇺🇸 Rick
Looks like it works well!
Yes sir Mr Ted. So far it's working great
Good review Mike 💯
@TravisDoesFirewood thank you Mr Travis
Those are really cool and way better than choking on smoke lol
Mr Dustin I fully agree. It is working great so far
Nice stove
Thanks
Yes smokeless for me! 😉 oak, sycamore pine and other scrap wood! Love it!
We are really enjoying this fire pit.

Thank you Mr Joe. Yes it does smoke when you add wood to it for just a bit. Overall Happy with this purchase
@@TheRustyGarageandHomestead awesome!
That stove is pretty nice mike! I might have to get a mini one.
Mr Tony so far we are enjoying it.
Looks good Mike, I think you guys will enjoy sitting around the Solo stove for sure 🚜👍
Thank you Mr Len

Hey 902. He needs to show his off lol.
Haha, funny ya mentioned it. We just finished a stove for the cabin. Might see it in a short.
@@OpenAirAdventure cool man!
That reburn was going well. I like the ash pan option. They are becoming popular, it seems.
Yes sir Mr Kenny. The wife and kids are enjoying it so far.
Mike, try a top down burn……set up crossed pieces starting larger at bottom, cabin build up. Light at the top……works very well in the Solo.
Thank you Mr Rick we will give that a try.

So I have been burning in one but it’s just an old dryer drum. Works pretty good for free, I do just burn normal 16” size stuff in mine.
I never thought of a dryer drum. I think that would work really well. Thanks Mr Tony
@@TheRustyGarageandHomestead it’s does work pretty good, was going to scrap it then was like 10$ in scrap or use it as a fire pit lol.
Thought I saw some more text on that stove.
lol I was surprised when I seen it. I didn't know that was an option to customize
@@TheRustyGarageandHomestead pretty cool idea!
Joe has one he causes an old smoky

@ call's it old smokie , I'm driving my parents 1/2 way to Kentucky to my brothers , the hand off in Ohio

@@TheRustyGarageandHomesteadlove it Mike
Yes the fatwood almost burns like plastic.
Thats what it was reminding me of. I guess its all the sap in the wood.

Mr Rick, Thank you. We are really enjoying this stove. I feel like its size makes it easy to be portable.
