Hey sell me the old one up at the house
📼3📹📼 yes Ago now
Thank you for sharing. I am curious. It appeared the inside bottom was rusty in the Breeo. Is this correct?
Melissa's job, "Keep lookin' pretty".......she's got that down pretty good!!🤩🤩😎
It’s what all Melissa’s do😉
And she said she was going to work harder!😂
Amen lol
Thank you Larry
I've had my Breeo X24 for 3 or 4 years now and love it, a couple of things to note. Start with smaller splits so you can begin building a bed of coals ASAP. Stuff the fire pit with wood, the smokeless feature works best when the pit gets roaring, these don't run well with a small fire built in the center. It usually takes 15-20 minutes before it goes totally smokeless. Stick with smaller cuts until the coals are running hot then step up to bigger splits. Keep the wood below the rim, any wood above the rim will smoke. Place a layer of concrete pavers under the fire pit to keep the heat from cracking your concrete slab, ask me how I know 😪. Get the ridiculously priced little shovel they make for scooping out the ash, it really is easier, my kids got me mine for father's day. Our average weekend fires burn about a half of a row across the pickup bed roughly 5' x 1.5' of 16" wood in 4 hours +/-. I normally burn about a pint of whiskey in the same amount of time. Here on the Washington coast I'm burning dry Alder, Douglas Fir is good too but pops and throws a lot more burning embers in your lap.
I don't know how anyone could need the bigger X30 model, we comfortably fit 8 chairs around our X24. You would need a firewood business to keep up with the amount of wood the X30 could burn......
I was debating the X24 vs the X30 and this definitively settled it. I really like the Breeo and now I know which way to go. Thanks for this comment, I genuinely appreciate it.
Extremely informative comment. Thank you very much. Gonna get the 24 and look for some alder. 😊
Which wood would you recommend? Do you think duraflame fire log would work?
@@FeedbackFarmacy Haven't tried any of the manufacturer logs but I question those building the bed of coals that you need to heat up the sidewalls and make the smokeless action work as intended. Some charcoal briquettes in the bottom layer might help????
Great product, I have the exact model. I set mine on pavers on my concrete patio, the bottom of the fire pit gets extremely hot. Would not want to discolor that nice concrete work.
100% agree. The Breeo gets WAY hotter on the bottom then the solo stove did. Lots of folks on the Breeo forums that didn’t put pavers underneath, have discolored their stamped concrete. Love ours!
Was going to say this same thing! Definitely should be set on blocks! Or one giant paver!
Agreed with other guys. I have mine on a big block of bluestone and it cracked it from the heat first use!! Had it been converter I’d been upset, but love it otherwise.
Loved the comparison. I have a good friend from high school days wo fell against a pot bellied stove at age 4. Badly burned and scarred. However he had a Mike Morgan attitude and became a high school football player, valedictorian of his graduating class and then an MD!! Please caution you beautiful grands...
I can’t believe it after seeing your video I bought a Breeo 24” , I can’t believe you weren’t sponsored by them , you a good salesman ( I also bought your fire 🔥 starter) .
Hi Hunter , I like music and sandwiches also !!
Glad to see you got a Breeo. I have been waiting for you to get one, knew you would love it. Cooking on them is great also. I have the same, 24” X with the griddle, cooking outpost, cover and heat deflector. When cooking, let it get down to a coal bed, as it puts out a lot of heat. Looking forward to more videos when you get the accessories. Greetings from Maine
Finally! I’ve been waiting for you to get the Breeo! Best fire pit I’ve owned so far! Great for cooking over and entertaining. Enjoy!!
Love our 24"Breeo. The big positive is that it throws more heat off the assembly. The one caution is that it will heat up and dry out your concrete under the unit, so it would be wise to place it on thin fire brick.
Thanks for the “heads up”! Tim in northern TN
Guys how you get rid of the ash
Breeo makes a clever little ash shovel that fits the draft structure at the bottom. It works very well cleaning out the ashes. We love our Breeo!
You think it’d be ok sitting on 4x8 brick pavers? I have pavers over a slab
Mike- I've had my Breeo X30 for two years and love it. I sunk mine into the ground so it sits almost flush with grade...it's a Breeo approved install method. As the wood turns to hot coals, keep pushing them to the outside to heat the walls...you get the best smokeless burn and some cool flames coming out of the holes on top- which is the hot gas that burns the smoke. One note- while I don't have the sear plate (intentional decision) they do make the opening considerably smaller so while you can still fit your 16" logs in, it's just a bit more of a tight fit. The 30" has so much room (I have to outpost grills) that the sear plate wasn't necessary. If you are thinking of sinking one in W VA, I can tell you how I did it...ENJOY the Breeo.
You have all the right statements, on why you should buy something. A Master.
Yes, your wife has a beautiful smile! The way the world is it’s nice to see a smile.😊
Hi Mike and Melissa
Your new fire pit looks and works amazing and will throw more heat to a wider area so won’t all look huddled over it , I think you gave the older solo a bad rap though , it’s not the solos fault if the guy who bought it cut the wood too big to fit in it properly, only saying as the little solo looked to be doing ok ,
Glad y'all like it. Gonna provide many hours of memories.
All right Mike…you’ve sold me on the Breeo. I just love their story and that manufacturing is all in Landcaster. A tip…we’ve really enjoyed using the Solo Ranger (smaller of the three sizes) on top of a granite outdoor dinner table. We use the stand to keep the heat off the table surface and we also like using the optional heat deflector to push heat outward to provide warmth while eating outside in marginally comfortable temps. We custom produce 12” length firewood for folks using the Ranger and 14” for folks using the Bonfire. At home we use salvaged scrap end pieces from firewood logs that are inconsistent in length and just grab the ones that fit the application.
Great investment you will not be disappointed.. The grill is awesome and when you decide, the pot and hook is awesome for doing baked beans, soups and stews in the fall and early spring....
Melissa cleans up very nice, great looking fire pit
Good evening Mike and Melissa I've been thinking about a fire pit You just made up my mind
I think you'll like the Breeo fire pit and all the accessories for cooking on the grill too. Stay safe and keep up the good work around there. Sure glad that Hunter is really enjoying the table in the shade too. Tell all we said Hi. Fred.
Another great video, Mike. Thank you for sharing and demonstrating. I also enjoyed the end with the music, very relaxing. A nice fire sure can be soothing and hypnotic. Strong work!
Yes I agree it helps relax the soul
Sweet. Looks like years of enjoyment. Can't wait to see the first meal cooked on it. Other comments suggest some pavers underneath. That sounds wise. Don't want to discolor your stamped concrete. Watched this yesterday on my TV. Love it. Thanks Mike for sharing.👍🚜❤️🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸
Glad you went with the Breeo! Also highly recommend the Breeo base for underneath and the ash shovel works great on cleaning out the bottom.
Some people just have the life. Good for you sir. Hopefully you appreciate the blessings.
Got my Breeo last summer. Its been awesome. We love ours.
Outdoor fires are the best. Melissa is stunning. Everything is good at the Morgan house.
Great Pit!! I have a 2 1/2 ton rim that's 19" inside, made bricks around it!! We use we can!! Hotdogs and brats over the fire!!! Thanks Mike!!
HELLOOOO EVERYONE OUT THERE IN OWTM VIDEO LAND…. An absolute gorgeous day here in Virginia Beach….thanks for the revealing of the BREEO.
I’m currently using a stainless steel washer drum. It’s amazing for jus a fire pit. It Radiates the heat out of all the little tiny holes all the way around the drum… Not to mention the sparkles in those little holes after the sun sets and it starts getting dark. However, we don’t cook on ours.
Have a Day!
HELLOOOO Huntman 😊
The spin cycle would be gorgeous :-)
@@timrek53 lmao 🤣
That it would be
But, don’t knock until you’ve seen it or tried it 😜🤙🏻
Glad you bought a Breeo. We ended up going with a Solo Stove because they are lighter. We take ours camping and didn't want the extra weight. Cheers
I like the Breeo also , did not know it was made here in the US. That made my choice easy. Thanks for the video.
My son bought the Breeo several years ago he loves it they cook on it all the time
He bought the pot racks n everything that went with it
Lookin' Good Morgans! We've got an "el cheapo" fire pit I guess you could say... we use an old cast iron hog butchering kettle that cracked on the bottom and has about a 4x6 hole in the bottom. I just lay a piece of flat steel in the bottom to cover the hole, and that has become our fire pit. We love it... it has a long family history, makes a nice fire, and puts off a lot of heat if you really stoke it up. And it didn't cost a dime. Works great! Enjoy the fires!!
That was nice! Actually got me to just relax watching it! Nothing like a good fire to memorize!
The lord's children are all beautiful! And pretty. God bless ya folks,we love you Hunter, and so dose your heavenly father. Be safe out there in big foot land.
Nice unit. Starting to relax already!
I have a Breeo that I bought from Sam's club and it came with the spark screen, the cover and a lower panel.
I use mine mostly in the fall and winter due to it being so hot in Texas.
I love the way the outer ring radiates the heat, causing you to sometimes have a need to move away from it.
Also the drier the wood the less chance of it smoking, even when the wood is first igniting.
Have the bigger one all stainless built into a stamped fire ring on a wood plank stamped patio , love the breeo 3 years old and still looks new !
Hey, Mike. Thanks for showing the Breeo. I'll keep it in mind when I buy a fire pit.
Chris from South Central West Virginia
Great way to end the day with your family.
Thank you for sharing Mike and Melissa enjoy your night
Melissa, you look lovely. The new fire pit is nice. We liked see more of the wood and fire. Also like your stamped patio.
Melissa always looks lovely and is lovely, so much so even Mike said it tonight , 😀
Regards Davy 🏴🇹🇭
Melissa saying she was gonna try harder at looking pretty! She's funny. Everything looked great on the patio. I think the 30 would've been better, but the breoo was better than solo. Continue being pretty Melissa. Big smiles!
England here. That Solo stove, the one you said was a bit too small is just like home-made ones (or semi-amateur at least) that people here make out of the internal drum of a domestic washing-machine. Stainless steel, lots of holes and if you keep them on the rear spindle you have the workings of being able to mount the shaft into or onto a base plate to get it up off the ground. If you can get one and keep the bearing and bearing housing still fitted (they are quite robust and chunky) they can be persuaded to spin with a bit of a push, which makes the flame vortex. Obviously that can be a bit dangerous (you need a welding glove or a push stick) and who wants to spend all evening pushing a drum round?
When they have had a first use the stainless turns lovely colours of purple and bronze and gold.
They're obviously home-made but operate very well. Some industrious souls make a little side-business or cottage industry out of them in summer by collecting old washing machines off the scrap dealers, removing the drum and knocking up three legs or a stand off the rear spindle. They sell for about £50 I believe - that's about $60 currently.
Great job with the Breeo, we have just everything they make, all the accessories, chairs, and the table for wood storage Great products you will enjoy all of it.
Good evening from Upstate South Carolina. Please say hi to Hunter for me. Melissa, keep looking amazing. Mike, keep doing what you're doing. Have a productive and/or relaxing day. The choice is yours.
The family and I really enjoy our Breeo X24
Doesn't get much better in my book than sitting next to a fire. Our spring was too wet this year on the nights I was off, so we didn't have any fires. Summer in Alabama is just to hot and humid. I have a big fire pit made of a 48" stainless with concrete pavers around it. Definitely not smokeless. It is big enough for 12 people to sit around. I may look into one of these for my backyard for something smaller to use. Thanks for showing it to us.
Nice fire pit! Loved your, "cook all your food in a microwave, I don't care" comment. Made me laugh.
If you take solo pit to WV you could always just cut your firewood 14-15 inches and it would work fine.
That fire starter is the dude works super. Boy if only they had that way back when.
Good to hear that you were able to get one made "locally". The Solo fire did tend to stay concentrated in the middle, likely as the wood was packed a bit tighter and the pieces of wood feed off the heat from the other pieces, that didn't hsappen as much with the Breeo.
Same one we have. I recommend getting the grill, kettle hook and heat defused. Don't think you will need the spark screen burning hardwood.
Thanks Mike for that commentary, the first video I watched of yours was on the Solo stove, I was so impressed I bought one, still happy with it, we are able to buy 12” firewood here in the UK as so many people have small stoves so don’t have the same problem you encountered, but the Breeo does look much more impressive, sadly here it costs £2,066, probably because it’s so heavy the shipping cost are very high, maybe next year!
My wife and I are ilder and don't camp anymore but have a couple friends that still do. I bought two of tut he large bags of fire starter. One gor each of them. They love it. So easy to get a campfire started. We're under a state wide burn ban at the moment. No rain in over three weeks. So last weekend no campfires.😢.
Nothing like a peaceful crackling🔥Now for a cookin video 😉
A nice Pool would look pretty nice out in front of the patio
Hey Mike, the best fire pit I have used for 30 years is a discarded 4’ crusher cone. It’s just awesome!
Like the Breeo just right size for sitting around love you guys
Wow Melissa nice outfit 👌 Mike, I like the new fireplace 😊good size for your wood. 🔥
My nieces and nephew got my brother that solo stove like you have. It works good but you're right it's too small for standard firewood
Have the Breeo 24 in Corten steel. Love it. US made vs. Chinese, heavier duty and smoke free once a fire is established. Cook on it all the time!
Thanks for your vid 😇💟💟💟 Love and bless you all guys.
I can see using it to cook on. But, It seems for just watching a fire, a shallow bowl provides more view to the fire. With a high wall you have to have a larger fire to see the flame and you can't watch the coals from a seated position.
quarry worker said "we have extra stone, what should we do with it?" quarry forman answers "Take it to the Morgans!"
That Breeo is a nice looking unit. My wife and I want to build a new fire pit, and this would be ideal. Thanks for sharing.
Nice to see O that Breeo ..If you had White Birch gives an amazing flame.
That firestarter works real well. I think the Breeo is pretty nice but we use a big old cast iron pot.
I make my own all you need is wax and a pine bedding or can be mix with anything . Melt wax and mix it with anything it roll it in a small ball,it will burn for 15 minutes or so.Cost me only $14 and you get more than plenty.
Mike and Melissa another great 👍 video ❤😊🔥
Ok got my order place, going to try your fire starter out in the fire pit, I burn wood in the house during the winter and summer it’s the fire pit with a cigar 😊
A good informative video. I like what I'm seeing of the Breeo and Melissa doesn't need to try to look pretty, She's a natural.
Have the X series 24 and I do wish I went bigger. Breeo and the bearded butchers just did a full cow and custom Breeo. Cool stuff
I think this guy is the Ultimate Warrior
Corten does develop rust that limits the depth of oxidation. It may stain the concrete. Heat underneath the unit can damage concrete, Trex, or wood deck. I would place insulating layer underneath the unit and reduce iron stain.
Hello Morgan Family! Have a day!
That new fire ring makes a nice fire. Stay safe.
That’s what we have we really like it. Man you got me talked into trying your fire starter going to have to place a order
I have the Solo Yukon and it has a 23” internal diameter
Holy no smoke Batman! $600 for the pit and and another $560 for the cover, sear plate and grill. It does make a nice fire though.
That BREEO is a nice looking pit.
Thanks...good review
Mike that Breeo is a good choice. Perfect size and height. Love it. 👍❤️
That was a very peaceful and relaxing fire to watch from up here in Delanson, NY😊. Those are some nice fire pits and thank you for sharing and comparing!!
That’s a very impressive stove there Mike!
Great patio & furniture 😉
Thanks M&M
Central California watching
Wow awesome footage always keep stepping and fetching 💪 💪💪💪
Mike, we have the same Breeo X and have loved using it for the past three years. Incredibly durable, builds a great fire and the outpost makes grilling very convenient. Enjoy! By the way, love those butane torches you recommended. Took the frustration out of using those cheap lighters you find at every gas station and home store.
Love your channel Mike. Thank you for the videos. 👍
Mike , im surprised you dont just build yourself a fire pit . You're talented enough
This video sold me on buying a breeo.
Nice stamped patio and that is a nice fire pit
Corten steel was developed by Unite States Steel many years ago. The USS headquarters building in downtown Pittsburg is built with it.
Yeah, but they got sideways with the Pittsburg Paint Company since the steel no longer requires paint!
@@davidmorse8432 that was the point of the Corten product. No maintenance. But the sidewalks are stained with rusty looking stains😂
I bought the exact same Breeo early last year with the sear plate and screen dome. It’s gotten a lot of use here on the central coast of California.
I have that size Solo, I think it is better as a portable fire pit to take camping and such. Lightweight and they have a nice carry bag for it. I stack the wood up against the side, (kind of a half tepee) and it works fine. The breeo looks more home firepit that will normally stay in the same place.
Yea it makes a great fire and is portable
And the price of the The new one you got is a hell of a lot more expensive... 24-in that's stainless steel is 799!! Versus the bonfire you can get with the stand, and the carry bag for only 319!! You could have just got the Yukon from Solo stove which is 27 in that'll cost you only $400..
Solo stove is still the best option overall even though the one you have is pretty good..
The bonfire is perfect especially if you get the heat deflector.
ONE BIG THING YOU'RE MISSING IS WITH ALL THESE STOVES BIGGER THEY ARE THE MORE THEY EAT WOOD LIKE CRAZY!!
SO THE TRADE-OFF WITH YOUR NEW ONE.. YOU GOING TO BE GOING THROUGH FIREWOOD VERY FAST COSTING A LOT MORE MONEY... That's just the nature of these type of fire pits smokeless fire pits.
I sacrificed the smaller one getting the bonfire 2.0 because it burns wood a lot slower and then you get the deflector and it distributes heat better than the new one you just bought kind of the best of both worlds.. And it doesn't eat your firewood like crazy
I like the Breeo one. Nice fire pit
Love your show and your fire starter!! I have the Solo Yukon which fits all my logs no problem. I buy my fire wood from a local dealer and assume they the standard 16". The dimensions for the Solo Yukon are the same as the Breeo 24 but the Breeo is considerably more expensive especially if you compare the stainless steel one to the solo (apples to apples) but no matter, I'm sure you'll enjoy both.
I had several fire pits like your bass pro one, decided I wanted something heavy duty and cut a “ring” out of an old propane tank. Now have a 40”
Fire ring that will last longer than I will, enjoy your videos
INDESTRUCTABLE. That's the path I'm headed for. Thinking of using the end of one for a bowl. Not smokeless, but will last my lifetime and probably the next generation as well. May I asked where, how you located the tank you used?
I bought the 250 gallon tank at the propane shop I get delivery from, the install them and sold it to me for scrap metal price, then cut off both ends and welded on legs and a little trim ring “shelf “ around top and had some Georgia bull dogs emblems die cut at a fab shop, welded those in and sold both of those to luxury lake lot owners, the middle section I cut a ring and buried it down about 15” and put a paver patio around, like how bottom is dirt so I don’t have to cover, rain leaks out, no maintenance
@@JeffRansom770 Thanks Jeff, that is awesome. I am in East Cobb. May I ask who the company was? I need to do something similar.
@@Laughinghawg local propane dealer called “loyal gas” I am in Covington, pretty sure there is one in Marietta that could hook you up
@@JeffRansom770 👍I'll give'm a call tmw. Many thanks for the help.
Breeo and Solo type fire pits DO use more wood than the older firepits. As evidenced by Mike adding more logs a short time later.
To enable 'smokeless' they burn much hotter/faster!
I have the solo stove Yukon and I agree with that. It definitely eats the firewood.
Yup, they destroy your woodpile 😂
Solo to the cabin, plan ahead and cut your firewood shorter since you haven’t started the wood pile yet.
@@delkoke8112 Just what I was thinking.
Which is why I recommend them to my firewood customers!😁
“Gonna choke out over here” lol lol Thanks for laugh. Another great video!
FWIW We went with the X19 two years ago and it is great for patio use also!
You should get the base for the pit, you could explode your concrete. They get incredibly hot under the pit. I saw a video of a guy online that destroyed his flagstone patio....
I have the same size as you and recorded temps over 600 degrees under my pit...
