My piggie absolutely LOVES mint, basil, parsley and cilantro. She snacks on all the leftover stems when we're cooking, as well at the leftover sweet pepper, strawberry tops, and celery leaves. I think her fave sweets are raisins and cranberries. I'll give her a couple dried ones, but are really loves watermelon, apples and grapes 💕

guinea pigs are not solitary animals so they should be purchased in pairs or groups. i have just got a couple of guinea pigs and they really enjoy each others company. they like playing with each other and when they are resting they are cuddled next to each other.
I cut carrot in smaller pieces because i have 2 guinea pigs so they can eat it also my guinea pigs love tomatoes and on the video piggies looks so happy

We don't use the trolley and basket for feeding but they do look cute for photographs and video. You'd be best to go for a non-tip bowl like the Haypigs large food bowl amzn.to/3eHO3KJ or the smaller Haypigs bowl amzn.to/2YrGXnQ
I'm glad you liked the video! We bought the basket from a local department store called Boyes - they have stores throughout the North of England. I think we bought the trolley from Flying Tiger, a High Street shop you'll find in quite a few towns and cities :) x

Keep up with the same fruit and veggies - a good balance and variety of the recommended fresh food is best and should supplement their diet of limitless hay and a daily portion of guinea pig pellets :)
I'm glad you enjoyed the video! :) Pregnant piggies should continue with a healthy balanced guinea pig diet but they can also have alfalfa hay. Be careful not to make any sudden major changes to their diet though, so just add a bit of alfalfa gradually but mixed in with their normal hay.
Have you tried dandelion leaves? They can eat the dandelion flower too. This is something our piggies really love. Ours also love sow thistle. Just be careful with too many sweet vegetables and fruits - they should be given as an occasional treat or it can give them diarrhoea.

They should be ok with the same ones as adults unless it says otherwise on the packet. Baby guinea pigs can also have alfalfa hay (not suitable for adult guinea pigs though). Make sure they have hay at all times as this is the most important food :)

They should have about a cupful of veggies per piggy per day. It depends on the fruit/veggie but with fruit, we would only usually give 1 fruit a day and not even every day and that would be the size of about 3 blueberries. We would usually give at least 3 different veggies each day so a little of each and we tend to give more leafy veg and less of the other types of veggies.
Each guinea pig should have about a cup a day of fresh food and you can feed either all in one go or split into twice a day. Do whatever fits best into your routine :)

Watermelon seeds aren't safe for guinea pigs so remove these before feeding watermelon to your piggies. Just a very small chunk of watermelon is advisable as too much will give them diarrhoea. And don't feed too often as any fruit should be regarded as an occasional treat for your piggies :)

Carrot and cucumber every day are ok but only if you feed small amounts and mixed in with leafy green veg. But spinach is very high in oxalates and can lead to bladder stones if fed too often so only feed this occasionally. Kale, romaine lettuce and dandelion leaves are much better for them as regular foods. In the description you'll find a link to our safe fruit and veg sheets which you an buy on Etsy :)

Careful on the parsley. Yes, they love it, but it's high in calcium and you don't want your piggie to develop stones.

My guinea pig rarely eats greens, I’ve tried lettuce, spinach, celery, cucumber and nothing. Neither bell peppers or tomatoes. Only carrots, pears, apples, strawberries. 🤷🏻♀️ Basically sweets. 😅

Watermelon seeds aren't safe for guinea pigs so remove these before feeding watermelon to your piggies. Just a very small chunk of watermelon is advisable as too much will give them diarrhoea. And don't feed too often as any fruit should be regarded as an occasional treat for your piggies :)
But what to do if they don't want to eat anything except lettuce, parsley, dill and celery?

In winter it is very hard to surprise them

Parsley and celery.
And sprouted oats.
It's hard to combine them. Always the same😔

Carrot and cucumber every day are ok but only if you feed small amounts and mixed in with leafy green veg. But spinach is very high in oxalates and can lead to bladder stones if fed too often so only feed this occasionally.
