I watched a documentary on malnutrition and starvation... They said that the effects of malnutrition and starvation don't only affect just the current generation. They affect The health of your children, your grandchildren, and your great-grandchildren.
So it's very important that whatever your grandparents gave you or didn't give you, you correct with nutrition as best as possible. Not only for yourself but for all of your future generations to come.

      Thank you!
That's what I always questioned when someone told me that the illness in question ran in the family, that it was just hereditary and there was nothing you could do about it.
Until now, I've never been taken seriously with this line of thought.
Do you remember where to find this documentary?

@@AP-hr3qm It was on PBS... About a year or so ago. They were talking about the starvation that occurred somewhere In and around the 1600-1800s In the UK.... Hi Dr. Berg. It works! I had an essential tremor in my right hand that got bad on exertion. I do not take any prescription drugs but was transitioning to a carnivore diet. Also had cramping. I need to take some carbohydrates. The tremor was exaggerated when I yawned or stretched. I am a 72 year old male. I took 4 100 mg B2 and 4 100 mg CoQ10 capsules in morning and before bed. In 3 days the tremor was almost gone. Thank you very much!

    Dr Berg notes:
There are essential tremors that are more progressive and aggravated by movement and resting tremors that occur when sitting still.
There is a high correlation between mitochondrial diseases and movement disorders. The nervous system requires a tremendous amount of energy, so it also requires very healthy mitochondria. When someone has a neurodegenerative disease, they usually have dysfunction in the mitochondria.
Vitamin B2 and coenzyme Q10 are essential for FAD, which is vital for turning food into energy. Vitamin B2 also helps support the myelin sheath of your neurons.
People who are deficient in vitamin B2 sometimes have neurodegenerative problems, neuropathologies, and swelling in the nervous system. Vitamin B2 acts as a precursor to help protect the mitochondria and help correct tremors.
Coenzyme Q10 plays a similar role, helping to transport electrons from food so they can be converted into ATP, which provides cells with energy.
If you take statins, you could become deficient in coenzyme Q10. This can cause all sorts of neurological and muscular symptoms, including tremors, which are a side effect of statins.
If you have tremors, consider taking 800 mg of B2 daily, split into two portions, 400 mg in the morning and 400 mg before bed. Also, try taking 1000 mg of coenzyme Q10-500 mg in the morning and 500 mg in the afternoon.
    Thank you Dr Berg!

My husband has been on statins since '09. He had been on atorvastatin 80mg until recently when I asked his Dr why such a high dose. The Dr agreed and lowered it to 49mg daily. We were never told to get on Q10 or told to Amp up fish oil nothing. Now, he is suffering from dementia and has tremors. We will try this today. Also, eating healthy was not in his diet plan. Now, he is very open to eating healthy low to no sugars (processed) and healthy fats (tons) . Statuns block fat good and bad and I assume that's why my husband is experiencing these ill effects. The dementia meds; donepezil and memantine are not helping one bit. Honestly, they are a blanket, meaning -here you go let's stand back and see if this works- frustrating!!

00:00 🧠 Essential tremors can be misdiagnosed as Parkinson's disease but are a distinct condition that worsens with movement.
00:56 ⚡ High doses of vitamin B2 and co-enzyme Q10 can alleviate essential tremor symptoms, possibly by supporting mitochondria function.
03:13 🫁 Vitamin B2 deficiency can lead to neurological issues, including tremors, due to its role in supporting fatty acids and nerve cell membranes.
04:23 🚫 Statins, which lower cholesterol, can deplete co-enzyme Q10 levels, potentially leading to neurological symptoms like tremors.
05:02 💊 Recommended daily doses for alleviating tremors: 800mg of vitamin B2 split into two doses, and 1000mg of co-enzyme Q10 also split into two doses.

My boss at a job about five years ago had a nervous disorder of some sort where he would move his right hand in a certain repetitive pattern. It was somewhat subtle unless you noticed it more than once. If you only saw him do it one time you might dismiss it as hand gestures or too much caffeine maybe. But if you saw him doing it day after day for months and years you'd realize it's something neurological. Maybe early parkinsons, or even some injury or illness. I know that he slashed a major tendon in his right hand when a plate glass table he was throwing into a dumpster split in half. Perhaps it's nerve or muscle damage or residual pain. I know he went through several surgeries to repair major nerve and tendon damage. By he is also in his early sixties, so I was always little worried that it might be an early symptom of something worse.
He also drank alcohol moderately but fairly regularly so perhaps it was simple alcohol induced tremens.

Suffered from muscle spasms and twitches for years and it forced me to retire early. After 4 neurologist and 4 different major medical facilities they couldn't figure it out. Turn out it was my cells dying off from EMFs which is radiation poison. Start looking into the long term health affects from smart devices like TV, cell, smart meters, cell towers, wireless headphones, smart watches.... The emfs are microwaving out cells and causing them to die off. Like a microwave heats the water molecules in the food, it's doing the same thing to the water in body. I was able relieve and cure my spasms by sleeping grounded, walking barefoot, detoxing heavy metals and cleaning up the EMF exposure.

And this is why I subscribe to Dr. Berg. I've had problems with nervousness all of my life, I was born with a glorious singing voice, had a 4 octave range and I used it all when I sang in choirs--in my teens and 20's. But I could never do a solo because even a little nervousness would bring on tremors to the point I couldn't sing at all. In my 60's I'm on low dose statin for a year now, I'm having those tremors more often, even just a little stress will start them. I'm still singing ok, but my speaking voice is badly affected now, daily. I've been researching to know it's probably not Parkinson's, Essential Tremor fits better, and suddenly Dr Berg does a video on it...
For anything that's not life threatening, I prefer to research and try a natural remedy first before I go to a doctor, so I plan to increase Riboflavin beyond what's in my multi-vitamin, which also contains 60mg of CoQ10. I'll report back in a month if this helps, wish I'd known about this in the 70's and 80's! :-)

Statins are like poison to your body. There are natural alternatives you can take. I used statins for 5 years when I did not have the information I have now. It destroyed my short term memory and I had severe muscle cramps. I stopped taking it on 6 Dec 2006 and never took another one. I have quite high cholesterol, but I manage it with alternatives and will never take statins again.

I discovered the B2 on my own. 50 mg is plenty for me, and also it is crucial to balance the B vitamins. For me, I need B2 balanced in equal amounts with B6. I learned this by experimenting and watching the symptoms. When the B6/B2 ratio got too high I would see nervousness/shakiness and sensitivity of my eyes to bright light. If you take 400 mg a day, as Dr. Berg recommends, it will not hurt for a while, and it will tell you if that is what helps you. But, I recommend doing that only for a few days, then get a B complex pill with 50 mg of most. I take the Now brand B50. I also found that I need 500 mg of B5 to balance 50 mg of B1, so I take an additional supplement of just B5. I am 67 and my hands are steady. High B vitamin foods like liver and brewer's yeast are also good to keep it balanced, and I occasionally just stop taking the pills for a few days. The kidneys balance things out if you stop for a while when you see some unusual symptom appear. B2 turns the urine bright yellow, by the way, np, as long as you don't get scared.

@@marklopez4762 I started taking B vitamins over 45 years ago, but after a while stopped, because it seemed like I didn't need it; I was eating pretty healthy. I started again in earnest about 10 years ago, when I was having trouble sleeping, and also I was having some memory issues, which B vitamins can help with. I had also had some shakiness. I take just one a day, either in the morning or at midday, with the B5, no set time. I skip some days, when I forget because I don't have a set time.. It is not like a drug where dosage has to be precise. It is a nutrient. If you take twice the amount or skip two days, nothing much happens. I notice I need more when, after a couple days, my sleep quality worsens.

I'm 55, I started having strange kind of tremors sporadically, sometimes days in a row and then nothing. When they happen it's always when waking up or sometimes just before waking. I feel them in my head, maybe upper body, sometimes pronounced sometime very light. Not sure if it's just stress related or something else. They haven't happened now for about a month, maybe more. They seem to have gradually decreased.

I have had tremors since I was 11 years old. Kids made fun of me saying, "why are you shaking". I was not nervous and my hands shake. My hands shake a lot when I am actually nervous aka public speaking. My hands shake still but I could still work and function. Going to try this out and see if it works, G-d willing.

@@mariaa8224 as a speaking confidence coach I know that one of the symptoms of fear is shaking so you are right on the button in the vicious cycle. Do you know, though, that there is more than one thing going on here. Essential tremor is going to be different than the fear you feel when speaking. And it requires a different approach. I am going to be following this supplemental advice for essential tremors, but for the fear of speaking, the best thing is to uncover the root cause and clear away and some of those causes are going to be the times that you were made fun of. Wishing you the best and your journey to become steady grounded and confident and you’re speaking and your movement.

I'm always looking for information on this subject. I've had ET since I was about 13 & I'm 64 now. After a car accident in 2013, I was seeing a neurologist for a number of problems and he formally diagnosed my ET at that time. I was put on Propranolol which is a beta blocker. It does help. I also began taking vitamin D as there is research showing it can help with tremors. I am going to begin taking B2 and Q10 as advised and hope it helps me even further. Thx so much, Dr.

Here's something interesting I've been doing. Whenever I've gotten a twitch, spasm, or pain, I align my heart energy and brain. It's called heart and brain coherence. The moment I align them, whatever I'm experiencing just stops immediately. Having heart and brain coherence puts your body into your parasympathetic state, which is when you feel calm and relaxed. I have yet to try it and it NOT work. It's so fast and it feels amazing. It used to take a few minutes when I started practicing it. Now, I can align them in under 5 seconds.
    Look into Heart Math. ❤❤❤

Thanks for mentioning this. I've never heard those specific terms, but sometimes I instinctively "feel/think of" the heart and mind at the same time, and can "direct" their energy at a any painful spot, or an upset stomach for instance, where I then kind of focus my breathing for some moments, breathing love and awareness, for lack of a better way of describing it.
And yes, it does at times help noticeably.
It is, though, perhaps not the exact same thing as this Heart Math you speak of, and which I will be looking into.

My sisters both have medical backgrounds, one having been a pharmacy tech for many years. They keep a close eye on his medicine intake and timing.
I might try this regimen myself out of curiosity. My hands get shaky at times, too. The brain/neurological issues are my main concern. Sometimes I just cannot focus or recall. That is really tough for a detail oriented carpenter/mechanic/handyman.

I have Internal Waking Tremors. You can't see them but you can feel them. It feels like an electrical vibrator full blast every time I wake up. They are horrible. I do take B2, 300 mg a day.. it helps with the heat that these tremors set off but nothing else. Do you think that Q10 would help these kinds of tremors even though it's not a muscular type of tremor? The weird part of these tremors is they attack my system and I have to sit real still or they'll get worse and worse. Can you explain why? There's a lot of people that's suffering from this condition with no answers mainly because these can't be seen. So doctors tend to chock it off as anxiety. It's not right. It's too consistent and only comes when waking up. Never starts during the day. They do linger though. It's a horrible, horrible condition. Many people don't even have anxiety that have this. And then there's others thst have worse anxiety that don't have it. A psychologist that diagnosed people with anxiety had this condition too and said that there's no symptom in the medical journels that related this condition to anxiety. We would so appreciate if you could help us in any way Thank you so much.

A somatic therapist shared that it could very well be unprocessed emotions/energy, a disturbance in the chi to not allow to properly move through. I also theorize that it was the anti depressants, especially the 10 year ride on Zoloft that contributed to this symptom. Look on the side effects of Zoloft… I think that anti depressants like Zoloft block the natural flow of energy in the nervous system to artificially direct the energy to the other energy centers.. Went on a tangent but that’s the gist
