As a 76 year young person, thank you for your brilliant videos. I’m learning such a lot and it’s never to late to start learning something new. It’s going to take me ages to go through your vast amount of videos. I’m starting with your beginner course, I’m on lesson 18. But I look forward to new ones if possible. Your attitude, sense of fun and dedication stands out as well as your clear, calm voice. Thank you again and good luck in everything you and your wife do. ❤🎉
Thanks for the kind words. I commend you on your dedication to learning a new language. I am in my mid 50's and I am not sure I would want to take on that challenge at this point in my life unless I have to -- which may happen because my wife keeps talking about us moving to Italy. Seriously, she never stops talking about it. I'm happy to hear that you find the videos useful. It makes me feel more motivated to keep creating new content. Take care. :)
It never occurred to me to do this in Spanish, but as you point out, we all do it in English all the time. A very useful tip. Thanks Paul!
Glad it was helpful!
Lots of annoying Spanish channels out there, and several really good ones. I think yours is the best for practical conversation skills. Teaching style is right up the alley of us beginners striving to be intermediate
Thanks Brett. I share tips and techniques that worked for me. You would be amazed at how many "official" Spanish teachers have contacted me to debate my "unusual approach" to learning....lol.
Really happy to see you continuing this channel. It is the best I've seen on UA-cam (and I don't impress easily, either). You present things in a way that that puts things in a logical, and understandable, progression. I am hoping to make a trip to Mexico in the near future and you channel is the only one I've used since I first found it and am sure it will be the primary resource I use.
Thanks for the kind words. I can relate because I don't impress easily either. That's why I really appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment. Take care. :)
Another good video with much info--keep them coming!!!!
Thanks, will do!
I love all of the videos that I have seen on your channel. I have watched the entire from cero to conversational and the breaking out of beginner Spanish Playlists. I've also watched many of your other videos. You are the only reason that I know of the subjunctive as early as I do now. Learning as much as i have from your channel has motivated me to watch more videos in Spanish and to listen to more music in Spanish, even if it's Spanish covers of English songs with adjusted lyrics. I have noticed significant improvement in my understanding of Spanish. I still need to work on my execution of Spanish, but I know that that will come naturally in time as well if I immerse myself in the language more.
¡Muchas gracias por sus consejos y toda la información que he aprendido!
P.S. Thank you DeepL for some help verifying my translation, also, thank you QrooPaul for advising me of word reference and DeepL. They are a big help.
I'm glad my videos are helping you. Thanks for watching. :)
Definitely need more of these. Your style is easy to follow and useful immediately. I’d love one that uses imperfect past subjunctives if you get time. Appreciate your work 💯
Thanks for the new vid, QrooPaul. Great to see you again. I minored in Espanol in college and I find there are areas you cover (like the subjunctive) which were not covered well for me back then. As an adult Gringo with a decent grasp of Spanish, I enjoy watching your vids. Keep it up brother.
Thanks for the feedback, Steve. I appreciate it.
Im 15 and planning on doing language studies. Currently im learning spanish, german and sign language to start of and its been really fun I hope I become fluent this year in spanish!
You sound highly motivated. I'm sure you will be successful with your drive and commitment.
Excellent video Paul! I really liked your explanations along the storyline. I really miss your videos, please keep producing them (as much as possible) - you're my favorite Spanish learning channel!!!! Greetings from North Floriday 🙂
Thanks for watching. I'll try to be better about posting new content this year. :)
So very happy to see your videos again! I thoroughly enjoy them. You're style of teaching is informative, relaxed, and always leaves me wanting more. Greatly appreciate the time and enjoy you invest for all of us students of Spanish. Kudos!
Thanks Richard. :)
Wow, I will definitely use this advice! Thank you :D
Glad it was helpful!
Really like your videos, good stuff. Thank you👍
Thanks for watching!
Me alegro de verte de nuevo.
Great advice. Thanks.
Great as always! Thank you, I appreciate you giving reasonable examples. Duo last night had me translated sentences about pigs cooking and horses learning French.
Haha, what an odd sentence to translate.
Thanks! I have missed your Spanish lessons. The focus on a single tip makes it easier to remember. Cheers Anne 🌻🌈
I have been missing your videos. This one is very useful. A real life situation. Gracias.
Thanks for watching. :)
Welcome back really missed you?😊
Thanks. It's good to be back.
Mucha gracias profesor.
It helped me translate an oral story.
Glad to hear it. :)
I always say people would pay for your lessons! Thanks for posting
Thanks for continuing to watch them. It's good to see your name in the comments section again. :)
Another brilliant video. Best on YT. Glad/relieved to hear from you again!
Thank you very much!
Super useful, thanks!! I never actually thought of it this way. ¡Que regreses pronto!
Glad you enjoyed it. :)
Thanks Paul. Good to see you back. An excellent video and amazing tip. Gracias!
My pleasure!
¡Presente narrativo!
¡Me encanta, gracias!
Moreover, welcome back! I've missed your videos. You make it look easy---very inspiring.
Thank you. I'll try to dedicate more time to this channel in 2023 :)
just subscribed to your main chanel. Thanks for making video here again !
Welcome to the channel!
We love you Paul. Thanks for giving us some new content. I will practice this one.
My pleasure!
It does help. A lot of youtube people make 2 minute videos and expect everyone to know what they are talking about.
When I learned how to use the su junctive I thought that everything had to be subjunctive.
The youtube community truly helps but 10 second videos aren't enough to grass the concept.
I've debated making shorts but I don't think I can explain anything well enough in 60 seconds or less.
Great to see you back, Paul! Thanks again for the enlightening video. Looking forward to the next one already.
Thanks, Joe.
I appreciate the vids! And I only say this in good humor, because you joke about it too, but ''upon ______(verb)'' like ''upon exiting the car'' is major COPSPEAK :) Akin to ''and then an *individual* approached me.'' Again, loved the video. I just found it funny.
Excellent tips! I was so excited to see another Spanish lesson from you! Hopefully there will be more sooner rather than later! Gracias!
It's nice to see you are still watching! I will try to make an effort to not let so much time go by between publishing videos. :)
De verdad, ¡su manera de enseñarnos es genial! ❤
Gracias. Un saludo.
very interesting concept for those that would have problems with using the preterite and imperfect.
Good little story for anyone to practice!
Good stuff
Thanks for continuing to watch. I remember how I struggled to tell complex stories in the past tense and then I started to notice that native speakers were ofteh telling stories in the present tense. I was like, "WHAT?!!!"
:)
Thank you for the video. I have learned so much from them. Keep them coming! Thanks xx
Thank you! Will do!
Well explained thank you. Please can we have more. Barbara N. Ireland
Thanks for watching, Barbara. I'm plan to keep adding content to the channel as I get time. :)
Great to get another lesson man! Can’t wait for the next one!
I guess I’m not low intermediate yet - but still got a lot from the video thx!
I'm glad you found it useful.
This was awesome!
That is so damn useful muchisimas gracias...
May I suggest you do a video on 'los verbos de cambio' - hacerse, se convertir se en, ponerse?
That's a great video topic. Thanks.
Me gusta este tipo de enseñanza. Ya estaba listo para que le des patadas al chulo. Solo estoy bromeando, por supuesto. En serio, ¡realmente ayuda!
Thanks!
Thank you very much!
Thanks!
Thank you!
Wonderful videos! I've learned a ton from you
Great to hear! Thanks for watching. :)
Tan útil como siempre. Muchas gracias Paul x
Absolutely excellent!
Thank you kindly!
🥰thank you
You’re welcome 😊
Nice. I predicted me acerca.... but I was thinking este wey. good explanation.
Thanks! 😃
Muchas gracias Paul.
We miss you teacher
Thanks for that. it's good to be back. :)
Welcome back! Bienvenidos!
Gracias :)
Hace mucho tiempo sin verte
Paul, i dont know half of the words u used! I have never heard of some of them also. U havent used these words and I’ve listened to all of your videos that u have made!
I do use several verbs in this particular video that I haven't used much -- if at all -- in other videos. The purpose of this video was to show people how they can use the present tense to tell stories that occurred in the past.
Good to know but no I wasn't able to switch easily. That's tough.
It gets easier with some practice. It is even easier when there is more of a dialog.
