I was in a Toyota showroom just this Saturday. The prices were OUTRAGIOUS! They want 68k for a GR Corolla. The same for the new 2024 Tocoma SPORT! like.... it's not happening, not at these prices. Rather drive a junk yard car around before dropping that kinda cash.

Owned Acura, Lexus and everything in between. This car is a Lexus without the 10k you pay for the L and without premium gas nor premium service fees. Made in Japan top notch quality, no rattle drive like floating over water, enough power, great gas mileage, this car will live 20 years and beyond. Very exclusive look and you don't see them everywhere, plenty of leg room, every safety feature you can think of, easy in and out of the car, top notch interior, everywhere i go people ask what is it and how sporty but elegant it is. Get it in XLE black in black and you would be amazed, another color doesn't look as good however the 2025 storm cloud looks good in pictures but the black in black luxury fabric is so underrated and it's a sleeper and we love it. If you want a greater value with ground clearance of 8.2 inches get the limited 2024 Venza. It's also a NX 350h in disguise trust, a lot of people are not aware how classy and Lexus like car it is and it's the last year here in the US but not around the world sold as a Harrier. all components are shared by Lexus and other Toyota so no shortage of parts, trust me grab one before they are gone, it's a classic quality, soft like silk and it's made in Japan. Have them both the venza in wind chill pearl is a beauty and have every luxury you can think of period. Both cars for 2k under MSRP not to bad for Lexus quality without the bage premium.

Online, it doesn't look that good, but people need to see this car in person. In person, it's got more presence than most Lexus models. There's a reason why Toyota finally decided to bring this version of the Crown to North America for the first time ever, even though the Crown name has been around for over 70 years.

Drive nice but not a comfortable cabin for long drives. I'm 5'11' 210 lbs and it's cramped. The way the center console is my right knee rest on the center console and steering wheel doesn't go any higher to get a good driving position. For a large sedan we got 40 mpg driving from PA to SC. It's not a bad sedan. But unfortunately for me Camry a more comfortable car

I drove a Corolla in my 20s - 30s, then a Camry in 30s - 40s, and I was in the market for a 2025 Camry to replace my 2012 Camry. I stumbled across the Crown XLE and I was able to get a good enough deal that I felt like it was a splurge and an upgrade from the Camry, for less than the cost of some 2025 Camrys. Now that I am almost 50, I love the smoother ride and higher seat. I had never even heard of the Crown a few weeks ago, and now I can't imagine my life without it.

Massive congrats on your Crown! It truly is an excellent product. Many are only able to judge cars based on specs and they wonder why they should pay up more over a Camry to get this. Answer is quite simple, this simply drives better, feels more solid and refined. It’s truly a luxury car driving experience that transcends the economy car experience of the Camry.

The ground clearance is great, there's ample room inside (maybe just a little short on head clearance space), the larger wheels don't compromise anything - it's a very smooth ride. So I had mine equipped with just the stuff that I needed and I don’t regret it at all. It performs well is comfortable is very quiet as well as economical. Gas mileage was 40 miles per gallon on a 1200 mile trip that I did in April. What I recommended to others? Yes I would.

PS Toyota needs to do a better marketing campaign on this car. I have not seen that many only because Toyota is not doing too good a job at advertising them. The Japanese name is Crown Crossover.
The Crown is Toyota's second-largest car after the Century. The previous generation was exclusive to Japan, but the current model is now available worldwide. Although he is well known in Japan and sells well, he may not sell well in North America as he is a newcomer.
The 2.5-liter four-cylinder hybrid is the same as the Camry. It's a little big and heavy, so the ride quality is mild, but it has the performance you need. Its appeal is that it has more rear seats and cargo space than the Camry.
The 2.4-liter 4-cylinder turbo hybrid generates 349PS/460Nm and exhibits high driving performance. The downside is that it costs $25,000 more than the Camry.
We are also looking forward to the design, performance, and price of the Japanese name Crown Estate (a crossover between a wagon and an SUV) scheduled to be released in the summer of 2024.

While I am not an owner of a Crown, I am interested in the Crown Signia when that comes out later this year. I was also in Tokyo for vacation a couple of weeks ago and I saw a good amount of Crown sedans on the road used as black cars/taxis. They're very nice cars, but we're just so SUV crazed here in NA.

Great review Kevin, I agree it's a great car, my wife wanted to look at them and I kinda nudged her to the ES300h. I really think the interest rates combined with the price is the problem. Without trying to sound arrogant or wealthy I'm a numbers guy, the numbers I see infer that many of the average consumers and families with all the other inflationary conditions simply cannot afford them. Combine people paying market adjustments and other nonsense it will get worse, because many will be buried in the cars they would like to trade. I would not be driving what I own if I was not able to have borrowed the money from myself.

My wife and I went to our local Toyota dealer yesterday to test drive the Crown Platinum. As a senior citizen, the ride height is very appealing, and real easy to get in/out. The car has plenty of room and lots of technology on the inside. The turbo is blisteringly fast. The ride is smooth, but not as cushy as you might expect at this price point. We liked everything about the car……except the seats. I found them to be one level up from the wooden seats at our local sports stadium. I have a 2010 Infinity G37S, and those seats are light years ahead of the Crown. They should have used the seats from the Hylander Platinum, which are very comfortable. We were both really disappointed, since we were actually ready to buy the car if we liked the ride. Guess we’ll continue our search.

A $47,000 car without a headup display! The $36.000 Camry has it.
