We love our Crown limited it has easy ingress and egress, AWD for the winter months, the hybrid gives excellent MPG vs the Taurus sedan it replaced..👍👍
Both Cars look great, but I think the Crown is Stunning. I also like that it sits higher than a regular sedan. I'm willing to pay more for a car that gets less gas mileage as I'm looking for more fancy, comfort, and quietness. Just don't want to pay Lexus prices to get it, so the Crown fits the bill.

Best Car I've ever driven. Great for anyone that's does not want to step up into something or stoop down into it. I have the platinum, the Horspower is refreshing along with the lexus like ride. Most people ask what kind of Suv is that? 😂.. Just a well thought out car with pretty much all you want from both sides.
The Crown sedan will be joined (and hopefully replaced) by the Crown Signia which WILL replace the Venza Hybrid. The Signia is more wagon-like and will have more of a purpose than the sedan. Thanks for another splendid review.
Toyota had no need to replace the Avalon with this as they are the only one still competing in this dead segment and it’s not selling worse or better than the Avalon did
The cloth seats in the back of the crown are a negative for me - I toss my groceries there and sometimes groceries have liquid that escapes the bag. The trunk is too hot for the groceries. Also the JBL should be the standard low end speaker system and then JL or Focal if you want to upgrade to an audio system that people that would upgrade would appreciate.
Nice comparison review. The higher trims of XLE/XSE in the Camry have better sound insulation. From what I have been hearing, the Crown is not selling that well so there should be some good discounts on it right now.
Cloth seats is the deal breaker. If it had things like leather seats standard then a base trim Crown is somewhat price competitive with high end trim Camry, but if I have to add basic luxury features like those on for extra cost then no thanks. Went with a Camry.

Why bother when their plan is to eliminate the Venza. The Crown Signia looks more like the 1st Gen. Venza than the 2020 and newer models. More cargo room too, which is where they messed up on the redesign of the 2020 Venza. I have a 2013 Limited which I intend to keep forever. Where I live (Canada) there is a $17,000 price difference between these 2 specific models you're testing. I doubt highly that I'd find many differences that woud justify paying $17k more for a Crown, and I also think the Camry is better looking :)
I don't think there's any comparison between a Toyota and Hyundai. JMO but, when I researched used in 2020 before buying my 2013 Venza, Hyundai was having a lot of issues with their cars in comparison. So was Kia. In fact, 2009 I bought a 05 Suzuki Grand Vitara, dealer also had a Santa Fe and Sorento. After a test drive the Suzuki won hands down over the other two. It was way more solid. I put 74K miles on it, at 104K my most major repair was a radiator replacement. I'm kicking myself for not keeping that car. I see it around town every now and then. Always do your research on reliability, never just fall in love with the looks. Same as looking for a spouse...lol.
Once you step into and drive each vehicle, the difference in quality will be obvious. Differences that are not as evident on a video even though Ben describes the differences. The Crown feels almost Lexus-like, and it is made in Japan (a really really good thing). Both have proven drivetrains that will last hundreds of thousands of miles with good care. The Camry is the king of value even with price increases (and the lack of a less expensive non-hybrid option). But the Crown is a lifted Avalon, not a lifted Camry. I suspect most Americans would rather step up and pay a little extra for a Lexus ES. I'm guessing Crown sales will be lackluster which might be a great opportunity for deals at the end of 2025. The choice is easy if you're comparing a base Crown over the top trim Camry. If you're amortizing thousands of hours in a car cabin, you might as well be comfortable.
Pity nobody wanted the Avalon anymore. They’ve finally gone away from the nutty two-tone at launch. Crown feels much smaller inside versus an Avalon or ES.
I prefer look and internals of the crown, I just think it's overpriced above the XLE trim. The camry is a nice improvement on the interior styling. I'd like to see your review on the crown signia which I think should be appropriately priced for a near luxury SUV.

Makes me wonder how it handles on the open hgwy. When I punch it on my 2013 Venza Lim., 0-60 in 6.5 with v-6, the car literally seems to lift up. Front tires break loose easily from a dead stop. The front end is too light, though it does handle S turns amazingly well and fast. I know i'm not supposed to drive it like a sports car but, it seems to give you that option, to a degree...😁
To be blunt, there really isn't any appreciable difference between any Toyota products, be it a Corolla, Camry, Crown or the Lexus labelled versions.
