Not all People understand the severity of what abuse (of any kind) can do to a human. It’s absolutely frightening at times and i pray people give grace to those who struggle. When a person says they’re being abused, do not take it lightly. It could be a quiet way of shedding light on a serious issue. This was a beautifully done interview and so many of us are proud of Mona and all she’s done to help educate institutions, elevate and protect abuse victims and families, and help advance programs to address these issues, openly.
