Well done. The first video of DIY Cruise Control for Corsa D.
Congrats
Fábio Vasconcelos Thank you very much!
Great video. I might just add this to mine once I've figured out the wire to make the steering controls to work.
is that one cable from A to B
you used black en red en one with 2colors red en black?
give een answer please
What would you recommend if we don't have a spare connector with the pins? Any known good working Chinese replacement?
Quick question, did your instrument panel show the cruise control light? before and after programming??
Where did you buy the column from?
Top man
Works this with a Opel Corsa 1.2 bi-fuel colour edition 2012?
Hi Tom, when i try and connect to vaux-com i always get an interface communication error, any idea why this might happen? Cheers
where do you get the red cable?
Hi Tom. Which county/district are you based in? Could you fit cruise control on for me (paid)?
I want to install cruise control for 2013 corsa d do you want to help me
Does anyone know the part number for the pins? Without this information it is impossible to make the wire lead. Thanks
Would be good to see a video on drum brake replacement. My 2010 Corsa D has about 60k miles on it and I’ve not long done the front disk brakes but not had the time to open up the rear drums
I was thinking of cleaning and lubricating my drum brake contact points as they are squeaking, however I think the have a lot of life left in them yet to change them. Although definitely in the future!
thanks
Hey there,
My car has a brown/green wire running from the column. Is the cruise control wire?
Aron van der Plas.
Almost certain that it isn’t, I don’t know what it is but I don’t think that it’s the cruise control wire.
What year is your corsa
How to activate cruise control? Thanks..
My 63 plate Corsa came with it as standard but I've never used it.
What about the switch on pedal how we connct it and where?
I didnt have to do that so I dont unfortunately know myself.
Hi man! I don t have the icon for the cruise control in the computer bord , It will work if i would do your operation?!
Yeah there is a few stages to set up cruise control, if u watch my two videos on them. It will tell you how to do it!
Yes i have seen your Videos, But like i Said i don t have that icon in the computer bord . I will try It aniway. Hope It will work!
Im not too sure what you mean by computer board? Sorry. Yeah fingers crossed
On the turometer, the green icon ..
Odometer buddy or speedo haha, thats why i didnt understand. You have to ensure u activate cruise control using opcom or other programming interfave
Hello Tom, awesome video mate but I am a bit confused! I am new to all this so bare with me haha. I have a 2007 Corsa D, how would i go about installing the cruise control? I know I need the new stork and new to reprogram something but I don't get the re - wiring element. Would you be able to explain the process? Cheers mate :)
Hey buddy, all i can say is watch the video. Be very careful and if you arent comfortable dont do it.
Be very careful with that stork, they can be hard to catch. The first two i tried flew away but the third one i got! Not to find out how to instal the damn bird..
Tom's Driveway that’s the worst advice to help someone 😂he’s clearly watched the video and doesn’t understand
would it work on 2007 Corsa D 1.4 Petrol, Automatic transmission???
Did you get it to work?
@@TACTICAL1TY didn't try yet.
I can't see the reason why it wouln't work. Especially if you can totally ignore the clutch pedal switch, because you don't have one.
Do you know of anywhere I can get the pins for the connectors? Or what they are called?
I think someone i know ordered them from the vauxhall dealership. Although they came in packs of 100. I dont think it was expensive.
Tom's Driveway Thanks for the quick reply mate, any chance you could get a part number or any more info on these? Really struggling to find them
I shall have a look later today for you and send mine along. So you can check if the correspond!
Tom's Driveway thanks a lot that would be appreciated :)
Did you find out the part number or name ?
Can you add old text for Turkish expression?
Is it an addition of cables? Or a modification? Because I see that there is a lug on the cables that go into the connectors. If it's an original pod, where was the cable going? If not, why not enter the cable directly into the connector and therefore not have to solder? How did you discover that it was on those pins of these connectors that you had to act? Did you find any wiring diagrams for the car?
And my car already has 150,000 km, I do not know if it's really wise to install cruise control.
It is adding 1 cable if you dont have it already. Some corsa have the loom. I soldered them because i didnt have the tool to put the pin on the cable. Yeah i had a wiring diagram. Cruise control has no effect on the car in terms of wear, so i dont see why you couldnt.
Don't you have to install a clutch switch?
It's already on the car
Are the connectors the same on both ends of the cable?
They are indeed!
Mate, does your dad have more of these wires ? ;) I need some pins for my cruise control.
My thinking too- it looks like it could be a fairly standard 1.5mm female pin but it is hard to say. Anyone who has done it got any idea?
@@thomaspike9053 actually problem sorted. I went to scrapyard and ripped one connector off some car. It costed some silly money. Now have already another car where I've done CC same way.
I ordered the part 13191079 , and opcom from the bay. lets see if my corsa accepts the transplant.
my 2007 corsa already has the 4th wire at the steering wheel connector. its a brown-green wire. Didn't check at the bcm because its quite out of reach behind the fuse box. Still waiting on the opcom, lets see if it works without tinkering with the wiring.
@@okhascorpio Did it work without having to do any tinkering with the wires?
@@ant1plant1 yes, it worked without doing anything to the wires. Mine already had the wire.
@@okhascorpio if u have wire u can programming on opcom and working?
@@balkanytshorts yes. Here is my attempt video: ua-cam.com/video/UGsR2b9nWjc/v-deo.html
Mate good video, would you be interested in fitting one for me? Obviously pay you of course!!
no programming in the bcm computer Have a nice day Regards from Holland
Thank you very much, have a nice day to you too. Are you having any issues i can help with?

You have to program the bcm otherwise it will not work.
