I finally managed to install it on my Corsa D 2011 facelift model. This car has engine code A14XER and the wiring is pre-installed. All you need to do, is to install the stalk indicator and just enable it from the opcom. Unfortunately, none of the available opcom clones fully support this engine. You can buy it by yourself and check: although you can read all sensors, you are not able to program the bcm module. I just paid 20 euros to an authorized opel repair shop and they did it for me. They used an official opcom interface and yeah! The result: 2 liters less consumption in 110km/h speed.

This is very interesting, but how the cruise control works? Did you fit any controller for that ? How do you set it?
And most problematic for me is the Security Code - dealer asks 40 quid for that - which is too much as for xx years old car.
Any idea how to get it out of 2011 corsa D cheaper way?

Hi, which Windows Version do you use vaux com with? Ich have issues with Windows 10. have installed everthing and interface Test works Succesfull! While trying to a Access to a ECU it dies Not response.. did you have same issues ?

Hello Thomas, I see you stopped posting a while back, but I just got into your videos. Maybe you still check your channel from time to time so here it is: I already have the cruise control on my Corsa, but the „witness„ light on the dashboard does not light up when activated even though the system works. Did it light up in your case after you coded it? One of the mechanics I talked with said he had a Corsa also and had the same problem and that it comes like that from factory, which I find hard to believe. If is there it must be a way to make it light up when the cruise control is active.

Vauxhall corsa d's do not have radio codes. They are linked to the display in the vehicle. You can unpair them using opcom.

I watched some of your videos about the Corsa, all really helpful. I'm trying to activate the cruise and I'd like to know the Op-COM version you used (1.59 1.70 1.95...) because I tried with a 1.95 but it doesn't have all the options in the ECU menu and also It doesn't let me in in the BCM Menu, only programmed the IPC.

I got it off a reputable Ebay seller, its a china clone one.

Were do you get the security code? The carpass card? And do you have any ideas on how to enable the board computer modes? And how to enable front fog lamps?
You get the security code from the vauxhall/Opel dealer will cost tho. Mines was 30 gbp as it didnt come with the car.
As for the programming, I do it using opcom. Got a few videos covering different things to give you an idea. As for the fog lights I'll be doing them in not top far future so look out for that!

Where did you buy opcom
Great video! What is ofcom and where can I get it? Also did you have to get any clutch pedal/brake pedal switches? Don’t suppose you could do a quick video showing where these are or what to look for?

Hello george, opcom is just a piece of software/hardware that allows you to interface with vauxhalls. You could look at the pedal and brake and the electrical boxes that they connect to. Take the parts numbers, post them here and ill tell you mine.
Which version of firmware did you use? 1.65?

I installed the comodo. And my car has already the cable. Fortunately! But the dealership told me that I could burn out the on-board computer when I change the programming. Does anyone has already that problem?

Hey man. So I thought I had cruise control on my 20090 Corsa D as I saw the symbol and some arrows where the light switch is (I'm referring to the rotary dial which controls the lights, sorry for not being clear)...does this mean I have CC in my car or not? I was thinking no because my left stalk doesn't have the CC symbol on it and therefore no way to engage/disengage the CC...really confusing because the arrows to adjust the speed are on my car next to the lights!

Hey, it potentially could have had cruise control activated in the past. And they realised the work involved in changing it. So potentially it could be and also may not. Hope this helps a little!
@@TomsDriveway No, those symbols on the lighting switch are nothing to do with the cruise control. CC is only ever operated by the left hand stalk on the column.

You have to take your v5 to the vauxhall dealership and 30.00 pounds its costa for them to retrieve it. And you will need the opcom cable interface. Not silly at all.

Have you ever experience a loss of power or hesitant acceleration in your corsa Tom?
Interstingly enough, i sometimes do Mahammad. When its cold it can feel sluggish when accelerating. When it warms up it usually feels bettee..
Tom's Driveway good to know. It happens to my brothers corsa whenever he is going uphill and sometimes when driving on the dual carriageway.
Mine doesnt do that, id just recommend the following plugs ignition coils air filter the usual. If you get a code though, can investigate more. Mine annoyingly never records one for me to investigate.

Its quiet a comfortable town city car, good styling nice interior. On the motorway it lacka power although it can do it, I drive a fair amount of motorway and it definately can do it. Just dont expect to have much power to accelerate at 60 to 70. Personally the 1.4 maybe better.. and use less fuel. As it aint amazing in the city i get like 38 mph and 46 mpg motorway. With a few fast accelrations

Witch version of Windows did you used to install OpCom?
It is windows 10 64 bit, can be awkward sometimes to install post windows xp.
I ask you about that because i ordered 2 times from different buyers from Aliexpress the opcom but the Windows10 can not recognise the interface...can you write me the seller name from witch you got the opcom..thanks !
I bought mine off Ebay, it was over a year ago i purchased it so i no longer have it. I did have issues myself with win10 but with fiddling i got it to work.
I try to find one on ebay but all of them witch i find Working only with Win7 or XP.....
Tbh they will work with win 10 but its just awkward, the driver for the interface u have to install in a certain way.

The security code comes in the cars paperwork, sometimes called a vauxhall pass. If lost you have to buy from dealer. As for the engine number its on the block near the oil dipstick
Yes, the model is in the car's papers, but I didn't find the code. But I can read on some forums that we cannot enter in the BCM menu because it's bridated. Is it a link with the code that I can't find? And what's the name of the document where you found the code? Thanks.
I had to buy my security code from vauxhall, the code is individual to you car. And is hardcoded in.
That is true though, somw bcms cannot be reprogrammed howevwr i have tested/ have much knowledge on that to comment.

Unfortunately you can’t program newer bcm’s using opcom anymore. There was a issue with the bcm bricking under certain conditions nothing to do with opcom silly things like changing the battery or jump starting. Vauxhall revised the bcm to prevent this and now the knock on affect is tech2 only. You can change the bcm to a older one but the cost of programming via tech2 and the risk of it bricking. There’s a guy out there on the Vauxhall forums he’s a bit of a legend like the A-team just ask around
I havent had any issues at all programming bcms, what year is this from?
If you use OpCom 150406, VauxCom 160115a or OpCom 170823c you have excellent access to all the modules on the Corsa D. However, some BCMs are locked and can not be programmed, even by the dealer with Tech2, so check you can change the variant coding BEFORE running any wiring.

If you google opcom, you can buy the official one. However if you are cheap like me, use Ebay and type opcom and you get a clone version. Still work fine though.

how do you use the the cruise control?
Twist the end of the stalk forward to turn on the cruise control, press the button on the end if you want to turn off the cruise control. Twist backwards to reduce the speed or twist forward to increase the speed.

Hey Shandy, you find it in your owners manual with your vauxhall. However if you cant find like mine, you have to go to a vauxhall dealership with your v5 and i think £30 it costed me and they will get it you.

the Corsas dont have one. The garage I bought it from said the radio
did not have a code but he didnt seem too sure.
I am indeed talking about the vauxhall car pass.
No need to worry about radio as its linked to the clock, as im sure you know already.
But to program you need the sevurity code off the vauxhall pass unfortunately.

To program it, depends if you just wanted it programming. £10.00 i guess. To run the wire and program i guess £40.00. Idk really hard to quantify the price.

Yeah it could be done in a day providing you have the security code, the stalk. The brake/clutch switch is there. But with it bein club its likely. Even better if the wire is already there

Sorry for slow reply, hmm sounds strange. Only thing i can suggest is there a way you can get a newer opcom release. I recall i had issues finding it orignally. As mine is china clone.
Tom's Driveway I also tried with tech2 (in Opel official service) and I can confirm that I've some limitation in my bcm. Talking with mechanic, he tell me that Corsa D with enjoy equipment can't add some feature (like cruise control or rain/light sensor) because Opel/Vauxhall limit bcm.
I can only try to change it, but I don't know if made it worth to try..

Yeah that is true that some bcms do have limitations. Tbh im not sure if changing your bcm is worth it. Out of interest what model of corsa d do you have. Mine is life.
Mine is enjoy. Opel use a different equipment name, but I think that we have the same equipment (with different bcm)...
