    Another well presented good video. Many underestimate the difference changing the engine air filter can sometimes make (same with spark plugs).
    I honestly think the car is well ready for passing on, even putting air in the tyres might be over valuing it. 😁

      I’m my opinion a very under rated car and much rubbish is said about its reliability. In the D format they got the handling spot on and the build quality in the main is very good, (glovebox lid and parcel shelf being the exception)
      The D model has some issues if you don’t pay attention to maintenance.
      They have ABS pump issues if you don’t keep your eye on the water content and condition of the brake fluid. This is a Bosch issue to be honest and it affected other makes and models of a similar design age including the Fiesta.
      They also suffer from timing chain issues if you don’t ignore the manufacturer’s guidance in change intervals, (change sooner than later)
      Some variants can suffer with a swirl flap rattle on the petrol models which can be misconstrued for a timing chain rattle.
      However, name me a car manufacturer that doesn’t have issues that arise from less then attentive maintenance on some models they make.

    I bought a 2010 corsa D back in 2014. £4.5k, 24k miles. It’s at 88k now. I service it myself regularly with oil change, filters, spark plugs, new tires. It recently had a new subframe as the old one was ready to give way.
    Would you be able to do an all around review of the corsa. E.g. problems you are likely to encounter when it gets some serious miles on the clock, what bits start to fail on the car and need replacing. Anything else you can think of as well lol
    And then a shout out to T-lager man on the video if you are feeling up for it 😅

    Is it normal for a little bit of the air filter to be showing on the left hand side of the box after you fit the box back into place and screw it up

    • @CarSpyTV
      @CarSpyTV  12 днів тому +1

      I'd expect the box to close properly. Best wishes from CarSpyTV.

      I have the same car as you, you can slightly see a little bit of the air filter outline the red edges on the left side of the filter box but the box won't go any further into the clips I just wanted to make sure in case I cause any problems
