Hey lads! Today we will be doing the wiring for the light/rain sensor, which will allow for the automatic headlights and automatic wipers to function. Furthermore, we will be installing the auto-dimming mirror.
Sorry this was not an actual install, but it was rather difficult finding wiring diagrams as their was some in accuracies in the haynes manual. - Авто та транспорт

Hi Tom, I bought a used corsa D it has the cruise control side arm and also it shows up when i start the car but it doesnt work is there perhaps a fuse that needs to be replaced?
Hi, have you got any part numbers for the parts used? For example the gray housing you used, the actual rain/light sensor, or the required stalk for the automatic wipers that you mentioned in an another comment. Many thanks.

Appreciate the video. Although it says overview I think this style of video (wiring) is something people would prefer more in depth as most ppl find it a bit wary to start with. Whilst it helps just feel not so much to make you want to attempt it. But keep it up tho tom
Yeah I fully understand really, I may re make the video in future. I had a feeling it may not have been as useful as my previous videos.

Hi Tom I have a corsa d and my glovebox lid fell off. Would you be able to make a video on how to fix it? Any help would be appreciated.
Heard the glove boxes have major faults with them breaking. I haven't had an issue, however I'd just suggest buying one from a scrap yard and swapping it over. 4 torx screws that's all.
However if your on a massive budget I suggest some sort of epoxy glue, clamping it in place
My friend do you want to make a video with lights and fog lights adjustment on corsa d if you know how. With the right hight of first and second (high) beam? And fog lights also. It has 2 Allen (6mm) key on each headlight and same at the fog light, what work does each one. Thanks.
I'm thinking of doing the front fog lights however i need to purchase some new lights which are expensive.
I checked the wiring diagram and I think you did a "mistake" (works anyway). You are talking about Pin 21 on connector D. In my case this connector is called XI4 (name doesn't matter). However, fuse number 14 is responsible for powering the mirror, as you correctly said. But according to the wiring diagram this should be Pin 6 on connector D. Pin 21 is for the ABS (fuse 12)!

Can you share the part numbers and schematic?
After installing both cables (for automatic lights) do I have to use the OPCOM to program the lights? Thk a lot

Hi Tom, did it work with out any bcm activations? Do the auto wipers work as well?
It requires activation in the bcm. Without it just doesnt know it has the equipment fitted. The auto wipers semi work since I do not have the correct stalk for it.
Do you know how to wire In the cancellation feature?
Hi Tom, I'm changing my backbox and just wanted to know is exhaust paste a must, or can I do without?
I actually did it with originally but took the exhaust off and installed it without and it's fine. However I'd recommend using it if the exhaust is after market as they never fit perfectly though.
@@TomsDriveway ah right I see. It is after market. I've also has to order a clam for the backbox because the previous owner of the car welded the clam to the old backbox 🤦♂️
That's soo annoying, hack saw time or something? Or maybe a dremel would be handy.

To be honest I'm not sure, how come you wanna remove it? I might have a look into it for you. It might just push forward from the back I'd imagine.

Ahhh I see if you remove the radio, and remove the panel on the driver footwell you can get access from there roughly.

Hi tom I have a 2013 1.7cdti now I’ve fitted heated seats, Afl headlights, electronic climate control and rewired the whole car but I have one problem this wiring for the auto lights doesn’t work, now I’ve got tech2 for programming and I can’t get something as simple to work help would be appreciated. Hi!
Currently installing heated seats into mine, got the seats in and switches on dash, heated steering wheel and already had the fuse box in the boot
Just missing the wires between the switches and the bcm, any chance you know of any diagrams as to which pins in both the connector behind the switches the wires go into and also the same on the bcm?
Can you remember from when you did yours or were they already there for you?
Any help be much appreciated!

You say there are inaccuracies in Haynes, I take it you are talking about the Fuse 14 pin at the BCM being pin 21 and not 6 as it shows in Haynes.
