How complex was feeding the video cable from the reverse cam all the way to the head unit? That’s essentially the only thing stopping me from buying one.
Hi I am thinking about purchasing a corsa 2012 with one owner hitting 102,000 I have just passed my driving now so has any one got advice if I should buy for first car or if a corsa is reliable Please let me know
@@anish_r I got the exact same head unit (well it looks the same so it probably came from the same factory in china) from Amazon. Under the Xtrons brand (yeh, I've never heard of them either). The quality and finish of the unit isn't great; I'm old enough to remember consumer electronics from the later 80's and the plastic reminds me of a goodmans hifi unit, which is not a good thing. Despite the initial misgivings of the looks (and the bably translated manual instructions) fitted very easily, just as in this video and I was pleasantly suprised that it really was a 7" Android head unit. Unfortunately my elation quickly turned to disappointment when I heard the sound quality. While its very cool to be able to watch youtube and check your email in your 2007 Corsavan, the real reason I want a head unit is to listen to some bangin' tunes. The only banging to be heard from my van was my fist on the dashboard. Oh well I thought, at least it was less than half the price of a similar spec unit from one of the big brands, so decided to live with it. All went well for the first couple of months (if you count tinny warblings as "well") until one morning when all went black. The head unit wont switch on. Fuse? Nope. Reset? No dice. Car wiring? Put back original head unit and working fine. I'll be returning and digging out my CD collection. What's that, would I buy another one? I don't think so....
Face book market page or find a second hand like pioneer blue tooth radio or even the Sony ones, the sound system will fr be way better, fitted in mine on my 2008 corsa and I loved it
Chineese radio looks awful... You could put CD 40 USB or DVD 100 NAVI or Touch&Connect with GID or CID display... Also you could put the genuine park pilot and genuine Bluetooth UHP4 module. Hence your Corsa would reply and execute your voice commands... And there are lots of nice genuine options on Corsa D that you can't even emagine...Regarding the speakers. There are enhanced genuine speakers that are used with CDC 40 OPERA... They are be much netter than the ones you put... Steering wheel... Oh my good... Man, just buy a new one with buttons or find among spare parts...
I loved the video. Its nice to see a human do human things with mistakes and all. You may not realise it, but you are relatable and fun to watch.
These are nice mods mate I did most of these for my Corsa too.

Do you need the Bluetooth stick even with the head unit?
No you don't need the Bluetooth stick if you get the head unit ... But they both work at the same time 😂 I wouldn't recommend it tho.
Link for the Steering Wheel Cover, please couldn't find the one like yours.

It wasn’t that bad I basically just pushed it under any plastic along the side
can you do a video on where all the wires go in the head unit please mine didn’t come with an instruction manual
Nice video
Do you know how to make reverse lines on reverse cam move left and right with steering wheel. Dynamic instead of static? Thanks.
I think that depends on the head unit.
