- Quest 2, Quest 3, Valve Index (and any other VR headset) - It's news time! If you love Blade & Sorcery, it's official release on Steam has happened! Love some flight simulators in VR, Microsoft Flight Sim 2024 has it's release date, and it's not too far away! Also, the Apple Vision Pro competitor from Meta (The Quest Pro 2?) may not be happening, or at least not with LG as a partner? Find out what we know so far. I use my Quest 3 everyday from when I get up to do cardio withFitXR and Holofit. I play Zenith and Medieval Dynasty. I have been in virtual reality since I got my Rift in 2017. Thank you for your enthusiasm for virtual reality. You said it when you talked about how computers weren’t first acceptable will be using VR headsets like we use computers and it’ll all be thanks to those of us on the bleeding edge!
Yeah! I use VR for part of my exercise regimen as well, but I use primarily Synth Riders, Until you Fall, and Thrill of the Fight (that last one kicks my butt!). Great to meet other people who are enthusiastic about VR as well, even as it continues to grow. Till in its infancy, and can't wait to see where it continues to go!
@@jollyjulian I love Thrill of the Fight, especially the mixed reality view. It is so neat to be boxing in my own living room. VR will takeoff. I remember when I got my RadioShack Tandy model 100 so that I could access BBS boards via my modem. Almost everybody I knew did not understand what I was doing. But now those same people are on the Internet. So our day will come.
Hey Julian^^ I was just about to ask how your new "alien" is comig along when you mentioned the followup video. ;) Glad to see you found something that doesn't compress your chest hair as much ;P I wish you a gorgeous week and always two fingers of fresh hot coffee in your cup! Oh btw: I found my way into Resonite lately. If you are creatively inclined you might wanna have a look. It's a bit calmer but that virtual world is only 8 or 9 months old as of yet. Feels like SecondLife in 3D but there are way less people. Good to simply hang out and try to do some building and scripting with the ingame tools.

Love that you've tried RESONITE! I've been meaning to do that, as I did like the couple times I was in NEOS (I think that's what it was called) which was by the same developers, I believe. Sounds really cool, and very customizable - building from inside VR instead of having to do it flat and then bring it in?
Glad to see another video, I enjoy the channel. I got a pretty powerful laptop the other day, ryzen 9 & rtx 40 series card :) can't wait to test VR on it

I have still to find some time to play Blade and Sorcery after this update, I tried it months ago and it was quite the workout...
Oh, and seeing you excited for you new PC, there is one thing I wanted to ask: have you thought about a name for it? After all, it is going to be your loyal VR companion. I hope you may give us an unboxing or first impression, cheers.
Great point - I might need to give my new friend a name for sure! Hoping to have it any day now, and going to work on videos for it as soon as I get it - give me real thoughts!
Just subscribed I am older and into VR just as much if not more. PC VR is where it's at. You should be very happy with your PC purchase...

LOL - appreciate that. I do try to find the best in what I can, but rest assured, when something ruffles the feathers in VR, I will express my disappointment for sure, but I'll always try to do it with suggestions that might make it better in the long or short term. Thanks for the comment!
VR Racing Simmer here. With my racing rig and motion. The VR experience is one of the best you can get at the moment. Going to get into flight sims soon. Deleted all of my flat screen games from my hard drive
Boy, I know that feeling. Other than the occasional TABLETOP SIMULATOR game with friends, I don't remember the last time I played a NON-VR game! Just love the immersion too much. And sims are SO GREAT! Loving Automobilista, Dirt Rally 2 and MSFS2020!
