Thanks you Dave. TK8 Friday is extremely valuable to me. The greatest benefit is learning practical uses for all the tools. Your compositional solutions are extremely valuable as well. I always look forward to a new segment!
Hi Dave... I would love to see a blending tutorial. It would be a great help in learning this invaluable technique. A great tutorial once again this week too..!.
Learnt a lot from this tutorial - especially how little I know about editing. Will keep persevering and soon my knowledge level will increase (I hope ). Thank you for the encouragement.
Happiness is TK Friday. Great tutorial. Very helpful. I would love to see you combine multiple images using luminous masking (instead of HDR) software. Later today I will send you a bracketed set of exposures so you have an option for a future tutorial. Thanks Dave!
I also would love to see combine multiple images(3 bracket 2 stops apart) blending using luminosity masking. Is it overkill when using Dave's usual technique or complimenting it?
Dave, I too would like to see how you blended the images as an alternative to Lr and Ps HDR routines. Your TK Panel tutorials are always very thorough and expand my understanding and use of the panel. Thanks so much.
Hola Dave, Muy interesante el video, como siempre, y me gustaría ver como fundes las dos imagenes .. Muchas Gracias por compartir tus conocimientos. Un saludo 👍🤠
Hi, Mr. Kelly! I'd like very much to watch a video from you showing how to blend two (or more) photos. It would be very helpful. Best regards from Rio de Janeiro/Brazil.
Hi Dave: Another wonderful video and thanks to Mathias for sharing his lovely image. I enjoyed seeing the variety of new techniques that you have used in this video. I would be very interested in seeing your approach to image blending as I do find myself using this technique fairly often. Keep well . . . Keith
Thanks Mathias. I thought it was a sunrise. Great image and thanks again for sharing and sorry for spelling Dahner wrong. I don't know how I missed it.
Hello Dave, thank you for another superb TK Friday. For landscape photography, I find that image blending is a great way to balance an image between the sky and the land under great dynamic range conditions. Unlike HDR photography, image blending allows me to remain in full control of the editing process and to produce a more natural looking photo.
Thanks Dave for another helpful TK8 tutorial. Yes, I would be interested in a video on blending. It would be great to get some tips and tricks. Also, a tutorial devoted to the edge mask would be nice. I use it occasionally but know it has a lot more applications than what I am using it for. Please keep up the good work!
Hi Dave. Great video. I always learn so much. I would love to see how you combine the two images for sky and foreground. You always seem to put a new spin on techniques. I do however have some ongoing confusion as to when to use a brush to darken or lighten or when to use burn and dodge through selections. Do you think you could help explain that? Thanks so much and keep these terrific vlogs going!
Hi Dave. Another excellent video! Leaving the mistakes in is in many ways as helpful as the 'right' stuff. Your take on exposure blending would be good, thanks.
Dave, This is totally off the subject BUT could you please do a show on the TK edge finder! I have a difficult tree to select and the edge finder does a great job BUT I can't quite figure out how to use it as a mask. I think it's going to be really helpful - after you show me how to use it! Thanks
Dave, I actually think it was better not doing a road map because I like you walked us through your edit processing decisions and this to me is what is so helpful. Many thanks Dave!!!!
I use Soft Pop on many images and really like it. Thanks for another great TK Friday. I especially liked the edge masking on the CA layer and using Screen Mode to lighten the image.. You are always teaching us something and we all look forward to Fridays to see what you have for us. Thanks very much Dave.
Another beautiful tutorial. I use Soft Pop all the time. I have never felt the need to adjust its smart filters so I rasterize it to keep the file size down. If the result is too warm, I will cool it with a Deep Blue Photo Filter, typically with a Layer Opacity of 50% or 100%.
Thanks for another great TK Friday tutorial. I have really enjoyed working on the image using some new and established techniques. I did notice some con trails in the sky, which I took out, although this very much a personal thing. Yes, will be interested in exposure blending. Oddly, I forget about the Soft Pop and will now use in future. Must write down my workflow.
Regarding exposure blending - yes please, I would appreciate a video on techniques for blending multiple exposures. I've tried it in the past with limited success. I'd also appreciate it if you could include blending multiple handheld exposures (using auto-align layers).
Hello Dave! Another great TK Friday. I'm really enjoying these type of tutorials where you go through different techniques to tackle different scenarios. So cool! Great job Dave. By the way, I've used the Soft Pop on a couple of images. The TK panel is one of the best investments I've made.
Thank you Dave for this excellent tutorial, every Friday I am learning a lot of new retouching techniques. I am very interested in the double exposure a Tecnique I'm very bad.
Dave - another great one with some really good new ideas. I especially liked how you used the CA action with the edge mask. FYI - I use the Soft Pop action a lot but often have to reduce opacity to between 25 and 50%.
Hi Dave, great image and tutorial thanks a lot. I have been looking to find a way to add micro contrast to areas of my images e.g. in this image the foreground rocks where there are light and dark areas where you can really bring out the detail even though its quite dark overall. Maybe for another TK Friday :-)
Another great video Dave. I actually really like it better with no road map. It just seems to flow better, and it is more like real life what we go through in deciding and trying different things on our own images. I love how you give us redundancy in some techniques and yet you are always showing us new things.

Awesome video once again Dave! I would love to see a blending video as well. Thanks
Would love to see some demonstrations on exposure blending - so, thanks in advance.
Sean Bagshaw has several great videos about blending images.

Blending works well. Sean Bagshaw uses it in his TK8 tutorials. A new one from you would be welcome too.

Hello Dave,
Thank you for the great video and the effort you put into it!
The photo is of a sunrise.
Thanks Mathias. I thought it was a sunrise. Great image and thanks again for sharing and sorry for spelling Dahner wrong. I don't know how I missed it.
Absolute no problem, Dave!
Yes please show how to do complex exposure blends with trees.. please

Hi Dave! Great presentations. I really appreciate your video training! Please add the training on the blending, please.
Hi Dave, The area where the tree branch in the mid ground touches the cross on the rock is a definite problem area for me.
