so glad I am able to use the DK15 and get 25% off.....I am taking the deep dive into using tk9 today. For the last 8 years I have dodging and burning without precision and this will make a huge impact getting more precise results without struggling.

I've used frequency separaton a fair amount, but this makes it so easy. Using it to reduce noise is new to me. Good stuff, keep it coming.

Thank you for this video Dave. I have been using frequency separation for awhile but I had not tried using the guided capability provided by TK9. This is just terrific as is your video here showing us how to use this portion of the panel. TK panel has to be one of the great photo editing bargains along with your tutorials.

Thanks... when I click start fs and then ok on Gaussian Blur I do not get a layer called 'texture repair' - what am I doing wrong?
ah - figured it out. The file type made the difference. I was editing a .dng. When I switched to a jpg it worked.
