Unfortunately, Evoto's payment model is not acceptable for me. I don't pay the manufacturer of my drilling machine for every hole I drill or the manufacturer of my car for every mile I drive it. If the running costs are the cost of the cloud connection, then Evoto should think about an offline version of their software.
Evoto is a game changer in my portrait work flow. I photograph a lot of high school seniors and schools. The acne and glasses glare removal alone are amazing and save me so much time and money. Not to down play the rest of the tool kit this software has and it there is a lot it has to offer. The cost per image is the most reasonable I've found.
Thank Jiggie for this video. For me, its disadvantages outweigh its advantages. First, it's a web based app that means it accesses all of my photos whenever I use it. My clients don't like it when a third party has access their photos. Besides, it's a subscription app. From my experience, subscription costs will soon get out of control. I've know quite a few photographers who had to cancel their adobe subscription during the pandemic because the reduction of their income during hard time.
Just a heads up also. It is pay per pic export.... However, you can export the same image multiple times with different edits for no charge. They only charge once per image.
Another subscription software to keep you paying forever. It may be a good tool for a much wanted quick touch using the demo version of this software without a watermark if there is that option.
Joey Wright put me on to evoto last year, and as someone who like to shoot and nit picks too much when editing making it a 2hr per image edit it’s a life saver.
amazing software, just wondering when editing group photos does the skin retouching apply globally to all the faces? or is there a way to individually retouch each face? watching your video this software would really speed up my work flow. PS is too complicated to use for me.
Hi Jiggie. I'm a New York-based portrait photographer and I share your enthusiasm for Evoto. Just one question: did you receive any compensation from Evoto for making the video? I have no recollection of that subject being addressed.
I batch process 500-700 photos every other day, and I used this program about 2 months ago to see how it works. It works well, not really great, but it has a makeup function, and it's good. But overall, AL and Capture are better to use. Spending money on each photo is not a good reason to switch to it, considering that I have 9,000 photos per month, and calculate how much I'll spend on it. And also consider the batch processing ability of the programs I mentioned.
Seems obviously you’re a novice and also didn’t understand this UA-camr. I want you to try to get a group picture without background distractions. Try it. You’ll be able to answer your own question.
From what I can tell from the video, it’s giving you new edited copies and not changing your original files. I have no idea if the new files have adjustment layers.
Sure PS will have this feature, and if you’re still paying the monthly ransom for PS then your all set as you’ll get this feature… I’m one of a growing number that have no interest in Adobe anything.
It's cool but I really do not like this current trend of pay per use software/credits. It should be the case that you do not pay for the credit while just experimenting only on final output.

Nice features, but price pro picture with a credit system is a complete no go for me.
I think the latest update of Photoshop will have this feature natively.

Thank you for sharing Jiggie! Evoto is amazing!
I think photoshop just did a preview of this feature in their application. Like it took out the electrical wires from the city skyline. Legit insane.

What is AL? Lightroom?
@@_HMCB_ yes

Neat! I like this a lot.
Wow, thanks Jiggie!!
❤❤❤. Thank you for this tip!
You’re welcome
Great video! Greetings from Peru
Isn’t it easier to just take the image without all the distractions in the first place?
Seems obviously you’re a novice and also didn’t understand this UA-camr. I want you to try to get a group picture without background distractions. Try it. You’ll be able to answer your own question.
Does it comeback as an adjustment layer or is the process destructive and permanently alters the file?
From what I can tell from the video, it’s giving you new edited copies and not changing your original files. I have no idea if the new files have adjustment layers.
Subscription software isn't worth it.
No culling feature?
For me to pay 10-25 c per image export is not super cheap. If you are procesing hundreds pictures your cost will get out of control soon.
Sure PS will have this feature, and if you’re still paying the monthly ransom for PS then your all set as you’ll get this feature…

Not another subscription based service...........
Learn how to use photoshop and you're going to find it works well

So far everything that I’ve paid for in credit is still not close to what I would pay for my yearly subscription for photoshop and capture one
Did you give your daughter a family discount? thanks for the info... may be useful for when friends finally convince me to take pictures of people.
Never charge your family. Make them look amazing and they will be the best ambassadors for your services.
