I have a Mandello V100s now, and really like the bike, the extra leg room and larger capacity fuel tank are a plus. I might get rid of my Mulitistrada V4s for a Stelvio. Lovely machine!!
Hey Bob, I'm suprised you and none of the UK press covered the new Moto Guzzi V85tt 2024 with has been completely revamped and looks a more affordable proposition for people wanting a bike in the £10-12k price range.
i bought a V85TT Travel in August and love it but now I want this even more. The V85 has terrible head buffeting above 50mph so I'm glad they've actually done some aerodynamic work on this one. I've had to modify things myself to fix the issue.
The Stelvio looks to be pretty close to a Goldilocks bike - right in the sweet spot of mostly on road but a little off. Agree its weight is a bit high - is 246kg wet or dry weight? If wet, the extra fuel would be a few kilos extra with it. Great report - very nice looking bike, looking forward to your ride review!
Thanks for the coverage. I have a 2013 Stelvio closing in on 130k km. I would like to have seen a better bash plate and engine guards like my stock Stelvio.
A lovely bike and potentially a good buy for me when I replace my Guzzi V7, but I’d like a ‘low tech’ one of these which would increase reliability in challenging conditions. How about it Guzzi?
Yo MOTOBOB, Please do a comparison between this rig and an Africa Twin. I was all over an Africa Twin this past Friday. I'm pro Honda anyway but I loved it. But I am also pro drive shaft. 👍😎🇺🇸
Fantastic review Bob 👏 NOBODY on UA-cam can throw out the specs as good as you SPEC RAPPER that's who you are. And you could be right about the moto guzzi being the best bike at the show.
This looks a lot comfier and more characterful than any of the other "mid" ADVs - the 900s and even AT 1100s. BMW should probably do better than just pushing up their I2 range capacity to kepp close but not quite at the competition level - dump it and bring out a (big) mid capacity flat twin (not sleeved down!). Like the good old days of the orig 800GS and not just have one max capacity flat twin engine.
Even based on the positive reviews, I’m still not sure. Is the V100 a good bike, or just good for a Guzzi? Sadly, given the rarity of dealerships and even fewer demo opportunities, I guess I’ll never know.
I loved my tt85..loved it..I got fat and giving Harley a ride now...if I find myself shedding the HD then I'll consider this on or maybe a GS, but I'm not liking the silly headlight look on that one.
Wow nice and good looking bike!! But!!!.. my complaine is!! It doesn't have a versión more kind a "R" with longer travel suspention, 21 " and 18" wheels!
I have the V85tt and I hope 🤞 they done some LONG testing on the screen as the V85tt screens ( short or long are complete CRAP 💩, the buffing is horrendous. The small screen extensions help a lot .The weight is terrible even my V85 is only 230kg , my old 1050 Tiger Sport was 235kg by memory ( any bike over 230 kg wet is HEAVY
Longitudinal crankshaft, transverse cylinder heads. Generally, Guzzi's are referred to as "transversally-mounted" to refer to the unique cylinder orientation.
It's a shame they're not considering having a trim with semi-active suspension. I'm genuinely devastated. I would absolutely love one with semi-active suspension.
A really nice bike ;). I have Mandello, and now I want to switch :D. About the missing wind protection, Stelvio has a bigger gas tank compared to Mandello, so the deflectors might not be needed for the same effekt. Is the Stelvio comes with Öhlins semi active suspension as option?
I'm 6 4 not sure if my knees will be touching motor

woot woot bike of the show is a big thing. I do prefer the mandelo as I would ride it more intown rather than long distance, but the cool thing about new things in the Stelvio, they will be also on the 2024 version of the mandelo (i.e. new clutch, and improved gearbox) that from all I could see, it was the only complaint. THe adaptative thinggies... meh... marketing, undoubtedly, maybe, just maybe worth it in the rain. Also... There is a new Black mandelo coming (entry level) with gold rims... IT IS GORGEOUS!!!
I hope Guzzi sell a end cap kit, because so many engine\ frame bolts look ugly and could do with a rubber bung to hide them? Otherwise crackin' looking bike.
550 lbs might be a little porky for an ADV bike, but I think most people will use it mostly as a touring bike, anyways that's light compared to most full on touring bikes.
hmmm I wanna see a new Griso....! The the look of this one... dont like the tech. What did Buck Rogers say.? "turn off the tech and you might be able to shoot something..."
246kg is really to hefty and the wrong direction for this bike. Guzzi need to be reducing weight not increasing it for their new bikes. The competition is all becoming lighter. It is a shame because it looks good and no doubt will go reasonably well but they must try harder to reduce that weight.
I personally would not touch Moto Guzzi with a ten foot disinfected barge pole after an expensive and unsatisfactory experience with an 8-valve Griso that turned out to have chocolate cams and electrical problems. The MG club UK took MG to court over the cam debacle, but MG (Piaggio, their owning company) could afford bigger lawyers who threated the club with massive legal costs if they won, so the club had to withdraw. Not a way to treat customers in my book.
Not for mostly a road bike it isn't, good for crappy roads and occasional dirt or fire roads. I would never take this to places I ride my DR, even that is to heavy at times being 400lbs.
I have a Mandello V100s now, and really like the bike, the extra leg room and larger capacity fuel tank are a plus. I might get rid of my Mulitistrada V4s for a Stelvio. Lovely machine!!
Me too , px’t my V85TT for one as soon as they are available in the UK👌🏼
Your EICMA coverage is epic! Thanks for covering all the new bikes!
Really like this bike, a specked up GS is coming in well over 20 grand this Guzzi makes far more sense as well as looking much better than the GS
Hardest working man at EICMA.
Tough job eh?
Must be such a chore 😅
@@micklebladeHours of editing, why Itchy Boots only rides to lunchtime
This man is the Shmee150 of the motorcycle world 😅.... Fastest and most importantly consistent! Love ya BOB😇😇
If I was into ADVs this would be the bike to get. Italian styling combined with practicality. Amazing.
Great walk arounds Bob. This is defo my bike of 2024. Deposit already down😎👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
How the hell do you smash all these videos out so fast?! Great work 👍👍👍
I reckon he follow the motto "I sleep when I am dead" :)
Absolutely perfect, the shaft drive makes it a proper adventure bike 👍🏻
Are you reporting on the new V85TT range Bob? Many people think this has stolen the Stelvio's thunder!
Very nice video and great overall work at the show!
I have never wanted a bike as much as I want this one 🤩
Thank you for covering up this great event.
Hey Bob, I'm suprised you and none of the UK press covered the new Moto Guzzi V85tt 2024 with has been completely revamped and looks a more affordable proposition for people wanting a bike in the £10-12k price range.
Bike of the show hope it sells really well
Love the tail light.

Love Moto Guzzis this looks awesome 😊 looks lovely 😊 I own a V7 Special brilliant ❤ Pete
I really like this bike. They did a great job of making it look like a refreshed TT85 which I love with the modern power train. Thanks, man!
TFT screen same as the MV Agusta Tursimo Veloce ;-)
Awesome vids mate, keep it up!
Nice, very nice
I don't like the 1300GS so I can see a swap for this from my 1250GS
Nice to see Guzzi has kept their old school thinking...a rack for your Walkman cassette tapes! 😂
I've been riding Metzler tyres for years on a moto guzzi Norge and find them excellent.
lol the guy at 8:17 trying his best to break the windscreen
The kind of comments I love 😂👍
Riding V85 and loving it. If wasn’t for the high expected price tag I would get Stelvio without a test ride
Great job Moto Bob.
My goodness these Italians know how to make a beautiful motorcycle!
I hope they could fresh up a little their V7
I hope the V100 Mandello will come with adaptive cruise control this next year too
Thanks for the coverage. I have a 2013 Stelvio closing in on 130k km. I would like to have seen a better bash plate and engine guards like my stock Stelvio.
These mini bike reviews from EICMA are ++++++++
Nicely styled and Depending on pricing, it could be a 7/8th GS.
A lot better style headlight than the old Stelvio, like it 👌
Nice video !
Is it possible to get the cruise control without the radar system ?
Thanks for the update
Yes
So nice of Robert DeNiro to pop by at 02:04
At least we know the power windscreen is durable. Quite a few scenes with people trying to adjust it manually. Hello!!
Bob pumping out the mc videos !
Looks superb.

Looking forward to seeing the ride test
Do cover the CF Moto 450 MT Adventure. It looks like a really good proposition and just what the riders have been asking from the big manufactures.
Yes please!
Yo MOTOBOB, Please do a comparison between this rig and an Africa Twin. I was all over an Africa Twin this past Friday. I'm pro Honda anyway but I loved it. But I am also pro drive shaft. 👍😎🇺🇸
8:52😅 We see you little guy, we see you!
Looks great.
New motor is awesome and they will sell, but to keep being competitive they'll need to offer a bigger engine capacity in say 2 years.
Cracking looking thing, but massive 😮
Fantastic review Bob 👏 NOBODY on UA-cam can throw out the specs as good as you SPEC RAPPER that's who you are.
And you could be right about the moto guzzi being the best bike at the show.
Did I understand correctly that this bike DOES NOT have semi active suspension and is only manually adjustable?
I can't afford one, but this is the most interesting bike at EICMA 2023!
Many thanks for the news. What about the seat height?, did you tried it?, how tall you are?
This looks a lot comfier and more characterful than any of the other "mid" ADVs - the 900s and even AT 1100s. Please review the CFMOTO 450 MT. Love the Guzzi but out of my budget range!
Grunting: Me Want!
looks a nice bike, not sure Id bother with the radar cruise control out here in rural Oz
Great looking bike!
Even based on the positive reviews, I’m still not sure. Is the V100 a good bike, or just good for a Guzzi? Sadly, given the rarity of dealerships and even fewer demo opportunities, I guess I’ll never know.
All the reviews I’ve read/seen on the V100S say it’s an excellent bike outright, not just for Moto Guzzi.
I want one!!
Someone breaking the ELECTRIC windshield at 8:18
Any update on the Husqvarna Svartpilen 901?
I loved my tt85..loved it..I got fat and giving Harley a ride now...if I find myself shedding the HD then I'll consider this on or maybe a GS, but I'm not liking the silly headlight look on that one.
Nice looking bike.
Look's like a Caponord '04...👍
I am a big Guzzi fan and have been waiting for this bike. I will be at the EICMA on Saturday to check it out
Wow nice and good looking bike!! But!!!.. my complaine is!!
It doesn't have a versión more kind a "R" with longer travel suspention, 21 " and 18" wheels!
We don't have flying cars everywhere as they predicted 70 years ago, but at least we should've gotten rid off all those handlebar cables by now...

0:44 isnt it transversally or cross mounted?
No, it’s longitudinal. A normal v twin has a transverse crank.
Longitudinal crankshaft, transverse cylinder heads. Generally, Guzzi's are referred to as "transversally-mounted" to refer to the unique cylinder orientation.
Honda CX 500 has the same layout and was always described as longitudinal.
Great looking bike. I had the Metzeler tire on my new 2022 KTM 1290 SAS and that was worst tire ever.
It's a shame they're not considering having a trim with semi-active suspension. I'm genuinely devastated. I would absolutely love one with semi-active suspension.
Agree, Especially on a bike Hold the radar stuff and give me the semi active suspension. Will not get another bike without it.
Rob... Any cost estimation?
OMG İ LOVE İT
I just ordered a Gs1300 to upgrade from my v85. Had this come out sooner….
how is it

Metallic blacks looks like Africa twin 1100
Now that is a bike i would enjoy having.
Hope it is not to much $$$.
Please can we see the new CBR from all angles

Nice video, however I believe it is simply called Stelvio, not V100 Stelvio. The V100 is a unique 100 year anniversary model, the Mandello.
The V100 refers to the motor, I believe.
@@FrancisLukesh it refers to the v100 Mandello, model made for the 100 year anniversary
Since it's shaft drive, they should put a reverse gear to compensate for the weight.
550 lbs might be a little porky for an ADV bike, but I think most people will use it mostly as a touring bike, anyways that's light compared to most full on touring bikes.
The only electronics i want is ABS.
A very good looking bike, but heavy for adventure, maybe just keep to the road
awesome bike.but i think it will be over 17k euros
hmmm I wanna see a new Griso....! The the look of this one... dont like the tech. What did Buck Rogers say.? "turn off the tech and you might be able to shoot something..."
Can’t you get into these venues before the public. The crowds are annoying.
Prefer the v85
