I'm no strongman but my gym has a 32kg log and it's so fun to clean and press, feels better on the shoulders than barbell too. Also no video I've seen for the log press explains these little details, they'll say tilt the log away from you, but Mitch says tilt it away so the centre of gravity is closer to you, great teacher, thankyou.
Mitchell’s brain is his strongest muscle group. I think he won WSM because he’s the smartest competitor, not just the stongest.
I recently got a log for my home gym. Weighs about 55 lb or so. I’m only 5’6” it took a little adjustment but so much fun! I love the work.

Turns out WSM is also the World’s Smartest Man!
The man has a masters degree in sports science. This will make you think about biomechanica in everything you do in the gym. It's both a blessing and a curse. Sometimes just doing something will mean your body auto adjusts the movement to what's most efficient for you. However most of the time it will mean your form will be both the safest and most efficient.

Hey Mitch any recommendations on the best books on rehab/prehab exercises? Ie: Dx: winged scapula-these exercises address it... Dx: Poor external rotation in hips- do these stretches/exercises...
Basically a book version of what squat university does.
Squat University has a book version of what Squat University does. It's called Rebuilding Milo, by Dr Arron Horschig aka the Squat University guy. Hope that helps.
