It is crazy to me how this video has less than 3,000 views and Mitchell hooper SPRINTS with 500kg/1,100lbs at national comps with the yoke. What a trove of invaluable information and CONGRATULATIONS TO THE MOOSE FOR WINNING WSM! I was on the fight for five but Mitchell hooper beat out Brian Shaw fair and square. What an amazing man especially for the community, now I'm going to program runs into my strongman training lol!
Boxing is great for calf/lower leg strength/endurance, you have to be on your toes all time... I remember when I started boxing and before even first punch I had to learn foot work for 3 weeks!
thanks for the bit about the nipple height or sternum height.. my grandma was always told the pick should be at nipple height so she was always having to deadlift it off the floor. I'll let her know that mid sternum might work better for her
I'm roughly 230-235lbs and I've trained Yoke for 3 weeks now. I'll be doing my first strongman competition Feb. 15th.. my first session I got up to 645lbs 25ft and now I'm trying to raise weight and walk minimum 15ft... And within 3 weeks I've Made it up to 800lbs 15ft.. I have no idea if that's good for my weight lol but my goal is 925lbs and I will use these Tips Over the next 6 weeks. Thank you!

been using a Yoke for about 4 weeks now and immediately saving this one. Appreciate it as always!
Mitchell Hooper without a mustache can’t hurt you.
What you seem to do best from a strongman fan over 20 years. Certainly got my attention. Many thanks.

Great video can’t wait to try these tips!
For sure the technique breakdown I was waiting for
world record strong man. I always thought strength stuff means sacrificing mobility. Yet you are super agile and a quick thinker it seems.

For me it’s easiest to just bang it on the counter and just empty the egg and yoke in the frying pan
Thank you so much for this information
Never could place my hands in that position. Always felt more comfortable with my hands on the bar like a squat
front squat position heavy and just break with good posture. is that a worthwhile thing? Maybe while the tibialis heals.
Good Luck for A S I👍
...😀
"I don't know her name i just know the video and the scream" poor thing.
