Mitch, these videos are great. I joined a CrossFit gym a year ago and they have all of the strongman equipment - I have always wanted to try it. I recently got a 100kg lift and what I've learned here will kick me on a bit. Been watching your other classes also. Good luck at the Arnold's and World's - will be cheering you on from the UK.
this video is awsome. I dont ahve access to a log and it cost me to get a podium on my last contest (got 4th, 1 rep more on log and I would ahve been third). My technique was god awful. Lets see if I can get it better on my contest tomorrow
The fingal finger event is returning to WSM this year, this could be a strong event for you, however like sandbags over the bar, familiarity and practice will be key. Being a timed event, a couple seconds could make a big difference. Hopefully Loz can get you some hands on training for this event, I don't recall it being a particularly strong event for him, during his competitive days at Worlds. Brian Shaw has a fingal finger, you could train it in Colorado with him.
I love that you called him under weight 😂😂😂 the best
This gets me excited for my next log session

This is great teaching, I've been watching at the series as it comes out and love it.
Thank you Mitch, Looking forward to seeing you compete in 2023 and hope you have a great new years!
OUTSTANDING!
Really want to try this and learn how to do it well 😂 Such an archive of knowledge gold
Thank you Mitch!
Mitch is a very good teacher. (Opinion of a veteran teacher).
……..

Very helpful. Thanks. .......
Light bulb moment with the lap position as to where my technique has fell off a little lately when it comes to the clean, thanks!!

What is a good brand to buy for a log bar?
What points on the lift do you breathe? I keep dealing with lightheadedness once im up in the rack position
Attempting to teach CrossFiters proper technique is comedy gold
...😀
You have a good shelf... haha
