I tried to change emissions on a specific image plane but it applies to all images, how do I separate them for applying each one different Emissions???
It’s two free ones mixed together. One of them I used multiple times to create all the wood. Just search for fireplace and campfire scans. There aren’t that many to chose from. I’m currently not home, so I can’t tell you exactly which one I got.
@@yareyare_5 can you maybe send me some screenshots over discord? It is hard to find the problem without seeing it. Can you simply take a screenshot of the problem? Here is my Discord: DerMalt#0547 My first guess is, that you either habe the backface somehow disabled, or maybe not enough transparency rays in the render setting
Had the same problem until I put the transparent shader above the emission shader when attaching them to the mix shader. Thank you, @@mlt-studios, for a great tutorial!
I think it is ctrl+shift+right mouse drag. It’s part of the node wrangler Addon. You can probably find a whole list of these kind of shortcuts the node wrangler Addon brings
i tried and re tried but my fire is not moving at all. is not clear how u make it move the image, ho wmany there are? dude explain it better please. thats not clear at all. how is moving and the frames that u have
You know what, this tutorial is awesome! I am tired of those dickheads that talk about everything else but not the topic, for example Blender Guru. You earned a subscriber!
Doing the lord’s work!
These results look way better than most of the simulated fire tutorials and are way easier to work with
The fact that these results look much better than most of the simulated fires, could it be because this is not simulated? 😂
only , this is not "creating fire in blender" but rather "putting fire footage on plane in blender" :)
thats like saying: "this is not creating fire in blender, you are simulating a volume that acts similarly to a flame/smoke volume would"
thanks I never thought of using an external video for fire its exactly what I need great vid
i was looking for a fire simulation but you really cooked the fire 🔥

I tried the short cut as suggested @1:20 but I am not able to get a transparent video. How to fix this?
Do you have a transparent shader mixed with an emission shader?
@@mlt-studiosyes

Does this work on Eevee?

Thank you so much dude!
A mazing result!
Hey, Can You Share the fireplace model link ?

@@mlt-studios No Prob, Thanks a lot. Will try to search for the scans.
A great end result!
why doesn't work in cycle render. is there a way to do this?
Normally it should work in cycles also. What does it show for you? What is the problem?
@@mlt-studios When I render, the back of the fire image looks black.

Hi, Can you please share the shortcut key you used at 1:20?
