Arches is just gorgeous and it looks like getting up early was worth it! Certainly not the crowds I've been seeing in other Arches videos lately. Plus that lighting...! 😲
The mid-day crowds there are crazy! We lucked out by being able to mostly escape them. They even closed the park multiple times during our two weeks in the area because it was full!
From last 2months I got craving for Arches Canyon, couldn't make it b'coz of his work pressure. You guys give me some relief by publishing this video. We visited Arches on 2019; just amazing. Happy Travelling
Arches is a special place. Got to visit for 2 days about 3 years ago. Did not have time to get out to Delicate Arch so that is one I have to see next visit. Thanks for sharing. Safe travels.
I took a short trip to Moab and Arches National Park in June 2019 that was bookended by work trips in Salt Lake City. The highlight was sunrise at the Windows. The entire park is just amazing! Great video to reminisce!
It was a blast from our past seeing this park through your eyes, again. It is gorgeous in a unique way, maybe due to the colors, although all the Nat'l Parks are beautiful. I have a treasure trove of great photos from here, Canyonland, and Dead Horse Point State Park, this latter being wrongly overlooked by many. Thanks for another heart-warming video, A&K!
Goodness! Had three vlogs that I had to catch up on! The scenery was so beautiful and reminded me of all the old westerns that we used to watch back in the day! After all that hiking you have to be tuckered!! We've been on our own road trip down the PCH and I actually hiked to Sol-Duc Falls and the Hall of Mosses! So beautiful! Headed down from Astoria tomorrow.
We finally visited Moab this year and were just blown away at the beauty! Such a variety!! It was smart getting up to Delicate Arch at sunrise- the crowds there are crazy!
Wow thanks for another insanely awesome video. I loved the delicate arch but am particularly fascinated by those park avenue cliffs and wonder how they got to be formed like that, just incredible. Take care. Safe travels.
We LOVED those cliffs! The geology behind the park is super interesting! We were going to explain it, but we struggled to figure out how to not spend 10 minutes doing a science lesson haha
That looked like one FUN day!! You guys are so smart about getting out there in the early morning and catching those warm rays of sun, and missing the crowds. Your photography is just outstanding. I'm envious.
As always love your videos. We will be staying in Moab for 5 days this summer, the information you provide in the video and comments will be very helpful. THANK YOU!!!
Beautiful hikes to magnificent places. Arches National Park holds so many surprises. The crowds seemed to be light 🤔 The hikes looked very peaceful. Loved loved this video 🤗 💙💜
The park closes almost everyday at least once this time of year...they didn't used to really count the visitors, but now they have a system where they radio in parking lot counts and then close and reopen based on that...the crowding inside the park is actually much less than it used to be.
I’ve been doing a lot of video research for upcoming trip cross country Boston to Vegas and back, hitting as many National Parks as we can. Your videos are not only the best I’ve found, pictures, information, and more importantly, u guys look like your having a blast together. Thanks.
I live in Utah any have been to Moab and Arches several times. However, I had never been to Delicate Arch. So on my 60th birthday I made my family hike to it. It was a great experience. My favorite hike is the windows hikes. There are so many arches in that area and the double arch is breathtaking. Also, my grandchildren loved sand dune arch and some climbed on top so not to let them out do me I had to climb up also. Up was not bad but at 60 coming down got a little scary. But I’m the cool grandpa to my grandkids. Love your videos and the energy they have.
How special that you finally got to visit Delicate Arch for your birthday! And we really enjoyed the Windows area, the scenery in that small region is amazing!
Oh. My. Word!!!! This is one of my favorite parks ever and I haven't been there yet except through this vlog. I just was in awe of all the amazing arches!!! Thanks so much for sharing this! You have made this a very good Thursday indeed!
Ahhh!!! You bring so many memories with this video. We visited Arches NP last October. We are not spring chickens anymore, so it took us a long time to get to Delicate Arch, but it was worth all the effort and getting there before sunrise. What a magnificent place! Excellent video!
Thanks so much for sharing your grand adventures. Your videos are a GREAT resource to those planning their next adventures. ;) I am taking my Mom and Dad on a trip next year to celebrate their 38 years of marriage as well as Dad's 70th and Mom's 65th. Curious as to do-able, easy to moderate hiking in Arches Park and what you can see. Thanks for much in advance!
Every time we plan to go somewhere we always check your channel. We're going to visit Zion, Bryce and Horseshoe/Antelope next month and I already watched your videos multiple times. Thanks for giving me an inspiration to get up and explore the beauty of this country. Keep on showing the world your adventures. Great job and God Bless.
You saw soooo much in one day! Beautiful video. PS My hubby still helps me along the trail, even after 37 years of marriage. He's the best. Safe travels.
It was a busy day! We managed to squeeze in a little break too, which was nice! And what a good husband ❤️ I know Adam will be the same 30 years from now!
Loved it! We leave in 2 weeks and can't wait to see some of the spots you highlighted especially Delicate Arch and Double Arch. You always showcase the hikes so well in your videos.
Just drove from Michigan to the coast of California and Oregon and back in 23 days and your videos were super helpful all along the way for cool stuff to do. Thank you very much:)
Fantastic video guys! The Park Avenue hike was a great feature--when we visited we drove right past it and just focused on arches--clearly we missed something great. Thanks for including it!
You sure had a full day! It's amazing what you pack into 1 day! My "likes" at Arches are Park Avenue, Fiery Furnace and hiking/walking up the steep sandstone after Landscape Arch to get to Double O Arch. The last time we were in the area 2 years ago, we did a couple of jeep trails, one of them being the Shafer Trail - super fun! Can't wait to watch your next video!
We even had a 3-4 hour break too! Arches was nice because nothing was too long and it’s relatively compact! We wish we could’ve done the fiery furnace but it was closed 😫. The Devils Garden trail is amazing though! Renting Jeep’s sounds super fun!
After seeing a bunch of arches across Utah the last 2 weeks. I have to agree 👍 💯 percent with you guys Delicate Arch is bucket 🪣 list item for sure. When I came around the last corner on the narrow trail and first see it, it was just a surreal moment, didn't expect it to be so beautiful 😍. I stayed there 90mins myself !
We are really enjoying your videos, the footage is excellent. Thanks for all the extra effort to make it look so fantastic. We are really enjoying the most recent set of videos as we lived in the four corners areas for so long. Keep up the great work!
I usually go to Southern Utah this time of year but I planned a trip to Glacier for this summer instead. Your videos are filling the void but also giving me nostalgia induced jealousy 😅
Just another super-cool day of adventure! Everything looks awesome; can't wait to see it oneday. And i LOVE curry so there's no chance it would have made it on film for me either.... just eat!!! lol
thank you both for the video, seeing what you saw make me feel to try an visit it , in making the walk in those arches. my g/f / wife , try , what else your you going to do?, well in June i will try. but watching your video i feel already i was there,! thank you again.
Great video! I loved Adams performance😂. I hope you had time to do Devils Garden and see Double O! Such a fun hike😊. Looking forward to seeing your next Arches video.
Ok, that's it. I MUST go there. It's just totally on another level. Beautiful and Spiritual. Also: "slangry?!?"...never heard that one before but it made me LOL.
Amazing vlog…you two do such an awesome job and the music was great…at one point I noticed the tone changed right when a different arch appeared…really cool…maybe a coincidence but so cool! So dang gorgeous there! I also loved Adam’s introduction to performing…can’t wait to see him perform in a couple vlogs! 😂
thanks for sharing this adventure - I like you channel and vids. I am from Germany and will be making an 8 week trip to the USA next year. This spot will be one of my favorite spots on my trip. Also I got a lot of inspirations from your other vids on your channel. thx from Germany
@@AdventuresofAplusK I wanna see a lot - starting in New York and make my way over blackwater falls, Shenandoah National Park to Washington D.C. the driving to miami where I meet my girlfriend. with her i will be 2 weeks together on the bahamas, everglades, Key west, Cedar Key and a roadtrip to New Orleans. Than I start alone in again in onalaska in texas to meet a friend and drive with him to austin to meet another friend. then grand canyon, canyonland, moab ..... In Vegas I will stay at an old friend from my childhood, he is a jazzmusician and producer there. Meet also some friends in San José, modesto. Roadtrip West coast and the last stop is san francisco. btw here it is 2:30 in the morning and I watch your vids from the moab - realy cool. And you guys are a very nice couple.
@@AdventuresofAplusK No, it's my first time, but since my childhood it's on my bucket list. but you guys are incredible, when I see you climbing through the Spooky Slot Canyons. I am starting to plan my trip 3 month ago. i also start making a website to share my experience to plan and make finally my trip. I saw on your side, that you have the Sony Alpha 6500 - Is it a good camera for my trip - I thought about buying it.
An early welcome to the US! 🇺🇸 We hope you enjoy your trip! We can’t wait to make it to Germany someday! And we really like the Sony A6500! We like our A7iii better, but it’s also pricier and the A6500 does a great job too!
@@AdventuresofAplusK by the way, it's official, hitting the road for good tomorrow morning. First stop south dakota... then, who knows? But I'm going to have some of that thai food for sure... :)
Wow 😱😱 !! , Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade was filmed here 📽️....right sir ? You guys are awesome 😎. I am big fan of Aerial America of Smithsonian channel but vlogs have their own beautiful charm. Thanks for showing this. 🙏🏻
Are you sure you are on planet earth?🤣 Again another spectacular video, which I continue to rewind and pause. Unbelievable beauty! Thank you so much for taking us along! ~Cara 😊
Thanks for taking me along on your trek through Arches. I was there a few years ago and was overwhelmed by the beauty and uniqueness of this park. I was able to catch sunset at delicate arch so it was nice to see sunrise. You two are a natural behind the camera. Keep up the great videos as I see more subscribers in your future.:)
I just stumbled upon your channel while searching. You guys are great! I appreciate your informative videos and realistic viewpoints on the areas you visit. Can't wait to watch even more!
We’re setting up a honeymoon back up plan (just in case international travel is looking bleak) of Arizona and Utah - these videos have been so helpful!! It’s almost making us want to switch this to our first option!
@@AdventuresofAplusK we’re hoping to go to the Greek islands! We’re still just under a year out from the wedding, but we’re big planners so we want to cover all of our bases haha
We also did this at sunrise and the views are amazing, I know we'll go back. If you're fairly sure you're only going to do this once in your lifetime I'd go at sunset instead of sunrise for the best golden hour light on the arch.
I was really excited to finally reach your videos on Arches. I knew you would dive into this park and highlight everything it has to offer. This video did not disappoint. Awesome as always! I have been trying like crazy to get the family out here for the past few years. Just hasn’t worked out. It is a beautiful park but I think my urgency is to get my family out here before something happens to one of the famous arches (Delicate or Landscape). I just see all that is happening lately: glaciers receding rapidly in Glacier, major wildfires in Lassen Volcanic and Sequoia this year, etc. I know it is not likely anytime soon but it is a thought that stays in the back of my mind. If all goes according to plan, we should be here towards the end of June 2022. Not the ideal time of year but we will make it work.
That’s a very valid concern! We feel that same urgency to get back to Glacier to see more of it before the glaciers disappear even more. It’s a great park and offers a lot to see and do, with most of it being pretty easy, which is great and let’s you see a lot in a short amount of time!
Another well done clip! Got addicted following your adventure. I wish I could give you more Likes. Btw, you should see Delicate Arch at sunset. Lot more beautiful than at sunrise when the whole arch turns to magical orange color
We heard sunset is the ideal time, but we also hear it's SO crowded, so we are happy to forgo the best lighting for less humans haha! Thanks so much for watching!
Delicate Arch is amazing at sunrise! The lighting was really good despite sunset being more famous. Great video. The scale of double arch when you're standing under it is amazing. Next video Devil's Garden?!? The hike to Double O is sooooo neat along the rock spines
For breakfast I can recommend the Jailhouse cafe. It's on Main and 100 No. We staid 3 nights in Moab and had 3 times breakfast there. It's mandatory to have a good walk afterwards because you will get a lot of calories.
I totally feel you about the mineral sunscreen! I wore it on vacation and couldn’t believe what I looked like in the pictures but I didn’t get burnt! I ordered some new sunscreen from Amazon Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen to try because it supposed to be completely invisible!
Ooo let us know how you like it! As soon as we get through this bottle we definitely want to try another kind! We will say, so far we haven't really gotten burnt either (minus just poor application in some areas)!
Hello Adventurers😊😊, OK so you have explored Zion, Bryce, Capital Reef, Canyonlands, and Arches...all of the BIG 5 Park's! I can't wait to see what's next!
Arches is the best of the 5 parks in Utah, IMHO. I love the way everything glows orange at sunset, it's just stunning. Capitol Reef is the most underrated, I went back last March and drove down Notom Rd through the Waterpocket Fold, up the Burr Trail switchbacks and over to Boulder. Had the road to ourselves for 40+ miles - not too many people make it down that way, I guess!
Arches is fantastic. I've never hiked to Delicate at sunrise; but have done so several times at sunset. During a visit in 2020, they kept the park open; but no Rangers...so we were able to hike thru the Fiery Furnace area (which normally requires a Ranger guide). Point of interest; the Double Arch was used in the opening scene to one of the Indiana Jones films. In Dec; near sunset, you can get a real cool pic of sunlight passing thru the two holes of the Turret Arch and striking between the North and South Window arches; forming (with imagination) a cat face.
The excitement level from me as I saw this thumbnail on my homepage was ridiculous!!! You guys did Delicate Arch right - we were just a tad too late, but the colours from sun rise were stunning. You guys did a proper exploration of it - we never made it to the viewpoint to the west of it that you did! I also loved as you were walking up, seeing the tinkles of the headlights behind you! I feel like 'fractured arch' may have been a better name for Broken Arch! You guys definitely got more out of your visits to Arches and Canyonlands than we did... jealous you got to do Park Ave, that view at the railings (well... the view past the railings) was stunning! ❤️ I adored the Windows, such a short stroll from the car park but mega rewards. I seriously can not wait for the next video as I know what's coming up. Very curious to know how much of the trail you do! 🥳🙌
Yay! So excited to share these Arches adventures with you finally! And I think those twinkling lights were actually stars, which is crazy! We totally agree--Fractured Arch is a much more fitting name haha. We can't wait to share the next one!
Double Arch recently won Utah’s Favorite Arch in a poll by KSL (a local news outlet). Definitely our family’s favorite, too. It was also featured as a backdrop for a scene in an Indiana Jones film.
Love you two. So funny and relaxed. Do you mind describe the lines at entrance? I am sure no line at 3 am but what about coming back from Moab after lunch?
Surprisingly not bad at all! I thinkkk we may have thrown in a quick clip coming back in (or maybe I left it out, I don't remember), but it took maybe 5 minutes max to get back in. HOWEVER, we passed by the park a few times during our two weeks in the area and it was full. We visited on a weekday, which I think helped a good amount! Sunrise and sunset times are definitely less busy in the park, so if you do leave, coming back late afternoon will probably be fine, like it was for us.

Arches is such a great park! We did Delicate Arch later in the morning and it was soooo hot! Sunrise looks awesome!!
It gets SO hot out there with the lack of shade! 🔥

Thank you so much, Harry!
Those arches are beautiful!
They were gorgeous! 😍
My travel bug is definitely biting me after watching your videos. Thank you again for another great video.
We're sorry for the travel bug bites! 😜
So so beautiful. Love the videos.
Thanks so much Mike!
We try to time those beat changes with changes in scenes! Glad you caught it! 🙌🏼 and get ready for the best rock concert of all time soon! 🎸🎸🎸

Oooo wishing we had tacos tonight!!!
Wow 😱😱 !! , Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade was filmed here 📽️....right sir ? You guys are awesome 😎. I am big fan of Aerial America of Smithsonian channel but vlogs have their own beautiful charm. Thanks for showing this. 🙏🏻

Are you sure you are on planet earth?🤣 Again another spectacular video, which I continue to rewind and pause. Unbelievable beauty! Thank you so much for taking us along! ~Cara 😊
Surprise, our van turned into a space ship! lol!
@@AdventuresofAplusK 🤣🤣
Thanks for taking me along on your trek through Arches. I was there a few years ago and was overwhelmed by the beauty and uniqueness of this park. I was able to catch sunset at delicate arch so it was nice to see sunrise. You two are a natural behind the camera. Keep up the great videos as I see more subscribers in your future.:)
Thanks so much for the kind words! And we hear sunset is amazing there! 😍
I just stumbled upon your channel while searching. You guys are great! I appreciate your informative videos and realistic viewpoints on the areas you visit. Can't wait to watch even more!
Thank you so much Laura, that means a lot!
We’re setting up a honeymoon back up plan (just in case international travel is looking bleak) of Arizona and Utah - these videos have been so helpful!! It’s almost making us want to switch this to our first option!
So so smart to get a backup plan ready! This isn’t a bad plan B! Where is your hopeful international trip?
@@AdventuresofAplusK we’re hoping to go to the Greek islands! We’re still just under a year out from the wedding, but we’re big planners so we want to cover all of our bases haha
Greece sounds amazing!
Such gorgeous country! Thank you ~
I was just there a week ago! Incredibly beautiful.
So glad you enjoyed the park!
Arches at sunrise
Gorgeous.
It is so beautiful to watch the rocks light up!
Thank u so much for your info. We will be there on weekdays only, and will definitely try sun set. Can't promise sunrise it is too hard to get up 3am.
We were there on weekdays and it definitely helps a little!
Looks so beautiful out there :) You guys are making me very jealous!
It is so gorgeous! Love all of those orange rocks, especially at sunrise!
I have been all around it but never into the Park itself. It is now on my itinerary for #Roadtrip2022 Great Vid!
We hope you have a great time! That’s how we were before this trip!
Y’all are so great - love how you commit to the sunrises in such spectacular places! Greetings from Dallas.
The sunrises are hard, but always worth it!
I left Arches yesterday......Still on cloud nine. Double arch is the coolest place I've ever been.
Love you guys... All the way from WV.
❤️❤️❤️
Delicate Arch is amazing at sunrise! The lighting was really good despite sunset being more famous. Great video. The scale of double arch when you're standing under it is amazing. Next video Devil's Garden?!? The hike to Double O is sooooo neat along the rock spines
Nailed it! The hike was super cool!
For breakfast I can recommend the Jailhouse cafe. It's on Main and 100 No. We staid 3 nights in Moab and had 3 times breakfast there. It's mandatory to have a good walk afterwards because you will get a lot of calories.
Thanks so much for the the tip! We definitely have to hike a lot after eating 😂
Sunrise at Delicate Arch... A dream!
We know sunset is the more iconic choice, but seeing the arch light up as the sun rose was super special (and less busy)!
this place is amazing! 👍
We couldn't agree more!
Amazing video...great weather
I just returned and was overcast and rain
We would’ve enjoyed a bit less sun haha! It got very hot!
Awesome video guys I can’t to be at this park in two weeks.
We hope you have a great time!
A couple more national park adventures and then a new state soon!
We LOVED Capitol Reef! We didn’t do the full burr trail, but loved what we saw! And loved the Boulder and escalante area.
Arches is one of our favorite parks. Unfortunately we have not yet seen Delicate Arch up close, only at a distance. You all covered a lot of ground!
We really liked how compact-ish Arches was! And that the hikes weren’t too long. We were able to see a lot!
Leaving for Moab tomorrow! Thanks for the info
Have a great time!!
That concert was lit… 🔥
Hahaha thank you 😂😂
Awesome place ❤️❤️💯💯💯
❤️❤️
Arches is fantastic. I've never hiked to Delicate at sunrise; but have done so several times at sunset. During a visit in 2020, they kept the park open; but no Rangers...so we were able to hike thru the Fiery Furnace area (which normally requires a Ranger guide). Point of interest; the Double Arch was used in the opening scene to one of the Indiana Jones films. In Dec; near sunset, you can get a real cool pic of sunlight passing thru the two holes of the Turret Arch and striking between the North and South Window arches; forming (with imagination) a cat face.
We just saw the arch on Indiana Jones the other day! Can’t believe we didn’t recognize it!
Oooo we didn't know that! Congrats Double Arch! Very well deserved 😍
Yes, it was in the opening credits of Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade.
Wow you guys hiked the Delicate Arch at night! That’s brave! 😊
We were a tad nervous, but some friends had written a blog on going for sunrise and it eased concerns!
