    I love all your videos. Your casual approach is very appealing. No macho attitude. Honest reporting of the thrills and hardships, even admitting when it was more than you reckoned. Gives confidence that us mere mortals that we can do these hikes too. Bonus - useful information of trail lengths and difficulties, including images of trail signs. Keep it up. You two are blessed to have each other to share your adventures. I’m envious.

    It was a blast from our past seeing this park through your eyes, again. It is gorgeous in a unique way, maybe due to the colors, although all the Nat'l Parks are beautiful. I have a treasure trove of great photos from here, Canyonland, and Dead Horse Point State Park, this latter being wrongly overlooked by many.
    Thanks for another heart-warming video, A&K!

    I live in Utah any have been to Moab and Arches several times. However, I had never been to Delicate Arch. So on my 60th birthday I made my family hike to it. It was a great experience. My favorite hike is the windows hikes. There are so many arches in that area and the double arch is breathtaking. Also, my grandchildren loved sand dune arch and some climbed on top so not to let them out do me I had to climb up also. Up was not bad but at 60 coming down got a little scary. But I’m the cool grandpa to my grandkids. Love your videos and the energy they have.

When I came around the last corner on the narrow trail and first see it, it was just a surreal moment, didn't expect it to be so beautiful 😍. I stayed there 90mins myself !

    Arches is fantastic. I've never hiked to Delicate at sunrise; but have done so several times at sunset. During a visit in 2020, they kept the park open; but no Rangers...so we were able to hike thru the Fiery Furnace area (which normally requires a Ranger guide). Point of interest; the Double Arch was used in the opening scene to one of the Indiana Jones films. In Dec; near sunset, you can get a real cool pic of sunlight passing thru the two holes of the Turret Arch and striking between the North and South Window arches; forming (with imagination) a cat face.

    Goodness! Had three vlogs that I had to catch up on! The scenery was so beautiful and reminded me of all the old westerns that we used to watch back in the day! After all that hiking you have to be tuckered!! We've been on our own road trip down the PCH and I actually hiked to Sol-Duc Falls and the Hall of Mosses! So beautiful! Headed down from Astoria tomorrow.

    Another great video like always! Quick question. We we're patreon and you refunded our money a few months ago. Hi y'all! THANK YOU for being our Patrons! 💗 We paused it for now, as we personally only feel comfortable with the idea of Patreon if we can provide a lot of exclusive content and value on there, which for the time being, we just didn't feel we could do (life has been a bit chaotic since hitting the road again) and we wouldn't feel right about that. But we REALLY appreciate the support on Patreon and the support off Patreon! Our goal right now is to create as much free content as possible, for anyone to enjoy! The excitement level from me as I saw this thumbnail on my homepage was ridiculous!!! You guys did Delicate Arch right - we were just a tad too late, but the colours from sun rise were stunning. You guys did a proper exploration of it - we never made it to the viewpoint to the west of it that you did! I also loved as you were walking up, seeing the tinkles of the headlights behind you! I feel like 'fractured arch' may have been a better name for Broken Arch! You guys definitely got more out of your visits to Arches and Canyonlands than we did... jealous you got to do Park Ave, that view at the railings (well... the view past the railings) was stunning! ❤️ I adored the Windows, such a short stroll from the car park but mega rewards. I seriously can not wait for the next video as I know what's coming up. Very curious to know how much of the trail you do! 🥳🙌

    As far as that sunscreen, when I wear that stuff and forget to shave? The ladies at the Tulum ruins ticket booth were trying to disguise their horror. Later I had to admonish my wife: "Why didn't'choo tell me? I look like the reanimated dead."
    I'd also vote Double Arch as my favorite, but it would look too complicated for the Utah license plate, so Delicate Arch will continue to smugly hold down that spot.
    And I was curious as to what a "Broken Arch" would be. Then it really wouldn't be an arch anymore, like poor "Darwin's Arch" this past week, waiting for its new name. To me, a Broken Arch would be....Horns? Handlebars? Oh, well, they had to call it something.

    • @AdventuresofAplusK
      @AdventuresofAplusK  3 роки тому

      Hahahaha the whiteness of the sunscreen sticks in Adam's facial hair SO badly lol!
      They were probably like "eh, has a small crack, I guess broken will work!" It's funny though because quite a few had that look to them, but I guess this one stole the name broken first!

      Surprisingly not bad at all! I thinkkk we may have thrown in a quick clip coming back in (or maybe I left it out, I don't remember), but it took maybe 5 minutes max to get back in. HOWEVER, we passed by the park a few times during our two weeks in the area and it was full. We visited on a weekday, which I think helped a good amount! Sunrise and sunset times are definitely less busy in the park, so if you do leave, coming back late afternoon will probably be fine, like it was for us.

    so fun there! When we visited 2 years ago and hiked to Delicate...it was all calm but as soon as we turned the corner and got on that narrow part right before the arch like 50 mph winds or something whipped up. It was crazy. Wind was just blasting us so we only got to "see" the arch for like 1 minute before we had to retreat. Kind of a bummer but it was amazing to see how big it is. Luckily we did Corona arch outside the park a different day so that made up for it. Did you get any good night skies while you were out there?

    • @AdventuresofAplusK
      @AdventuresofAplusK  3 роки тому +1

      We 1000% believe the wind you experienced! Our entire time in the area was SO dang windy, which made filming so hard at times. We LOVED Corona Arch and that'll be in our final video from Utah! Unfortunately we were so dang tired every night that we never checked out the night skies in Utah (big regret!), but we have on previous visits to the area!

    You sure had a full day! It's amazing what you pack into 1 day! My "likes" at Arches are Park Avenue, Fiery Furnace and hiking/walking up the steep sandstone after Landscape Arch to get to Double O Arch. The last time we were in the area 2 years ago, we did a couple of jeep trails, one of them being the Shafer Trail - super fun! Can't wait to watch your next video!

      We even had a 3-4 hour break too! Arches was nice because nothing was too long and it’s relatively compact! We wish we could’ve done the fiery furnace but it was closed 😫. The Devils Garden trail is amazing though! Renting Jeep’s sounds super fun!

    I was really excited to finally reach your videos on Arches. I knew you would dive into this park and highlight everything it has to offer. This video did not disappoint. Awesome as always!
    I have been trying like crazy to get the family out here for the past few years. Just hasn’t worked out. It is a beautiful park but I think my urgency is to get my family out here before something happens to one of the famous arches (Delicate or Landscape). I just see all that is happening lately: glaciers receding rapidly in Glacier, major wildfires in Lassen Volcanic and Sequoia this year, etc. I know it is not likely anytime soon but it is a thought that stays in the back of my mind. If all goes according to plan, we should be here towards the end of June 2022. Not the ideal time of year but we will make it work.

    • @AdventuresofAplusK
      @AdventuresofAplusK  2 роки тому

      That’s a very valid concern! We feel that same urgency to get back to Glacier to see more of it before the glaciers disappear even more. It’s a great park and offers a lot to see and do, with most of it being pretty easy, which is great and let’s you see a lot in a short amount of time!

    Amazing video! I’m so happy I found it! We’ve been planning out our 2 days in Arches and this is very helpful, and you’ve inspired me to get up early to see Delicate Arch at sunrise 😊 I am struggling with what to wear at the end of September, being from Indiana it’s a little different out west. Any tips? Also, what time of day did you reenter the park? They make it seem like they have the gate shut down and turning cars away, but you guys had no issue.

    • @AdventuresofAplusK
      @AdventuresofAplusK  3 роки тому +1

      It's soooo worth the early wakeup! And it's hard to say about weather, since it can vary a lot, but the temperatures are colder in the mornings and warmer in the afternoons, so pack layers for sure! And I think we re-entered around 4 PM or so and there was no line!
