Depends which blade you cut with. Make sure you are getting the correct blade for the job. They make wood, metal and carbide blades. There are also scraping, grout removing and sanding blades. I did forget mention in the video that Dewalt also has their own blades, I am at Home Depot alot and they do not carry them but other stores like Lowes does stock Dewalt blades FYI. ! Hello Johnny hope you're well. Might be a silly question but how do you get the two clamp bits to separate/ open in order to attach the blade? My manual says to turn the lever clockwise at the top then the two plates are meant to open but it doesn't open. Could you make a video on how to properly set up the machine for each blade?
T Mar, this Dewalt brand has a lever that works when you are holding the tool in your hand you can squeeze the lever like a squirt bottle and that spreads the two sections apart. You can then slide the part of the blade with the teeth into the groove. These teeth line up with each other and lock in place when you unsqueeze your grip. I can also do a quick follow up vid later if you need. Good luck and hope this helps
