Dude, you helped this old grandma so much. I had been waiting to do this seasoning until I got the collapsible card attached. Took me all afternoon! Got it done got the first seasoning done we'll do the next one tomorrow morning. Then I will be ready for my sirloin steak tomorrow night that is already seasoned and in the fridge . Thank you so much for your thorough video it was so awesome. I appreciate you! Happy BBQ🎉😊
Awesome! One of the best (and entertaining) instructional videos I've watched. I've never cooked on a charcoal grill / smoker (just propane) and I'll be looking for more of your Pro Tips. Thank you!
Finally pulled the trigger and got this grill for myself. I can’t wait to make some great burgers and steaks in this. Thank you for the assembly, burn offs and cooks on this one, it is what convinced me to get this one. If you think of any, try some more cooks on this pit, can’t wait to use and learn more!!
@@thegalleryBBQ this charcoal grill makes me think tailgating and camping food.. I think of Brats, burgers, wings, ribs, kabobs etc with this thing.. seems like it could possibly be used as a portable smoker as well with the 250 min temp.. maybe that should be the final test.. smoke a rack of ribs.. I'd like to see how a fatty protein (burgers-wings) handle flare up on this "Grill"!!! My 560 is still going strong 💪Might add this to the toy hauler if you convince me!! 😄
Burn in and season procedure is great Tommy. This little unit rocks and is super for anyone running to the game woods or lake... Sold on this bad boy. Quality portable unit does the trick in any forum. Thanks for all. Keep Calm Fires On! Dean in Bama!
Thanks to Tommy’s great assembly video, got my new MB Portable Charcoal Grill put together in 20 minutes. Doing the burn off now and seasoning after that and THEN smash burgers for dinner! Loving life!
Great info. Thank you for putting the instructions in the info section! Super big help and can’t wait to check out your other videos. Keep up the good work sir!
That lil cooker definitely has my attention 🤔😁 thanks for sharing Tommy! Looking forward to some cooks, have yourself a great one, you all stay safe!👍🍻👊🍺
Ive never used the pit boss... That said. The 350 is pellet, the masterbuilt is charcoail. The asmoke seems better made but also cost more. My quetion to use it. Pellet or charcoal?? That'll give you your answer!
Nice burn off video . Really interested in this pit. Couple questions please.. First can the grill lift off the cart? Second do the shelves fold? Thanks Tommy
@@thegalleryBBQ Thanks Tommy I was hoping it was similar to the PitBoss lift off griddle. For the Rv the cart n shelves would make it hard to travel with. But in the backyard cart n shelves would be super. I know I should just buy a gravity 800 and the portable both to add to all my current grills. Lol Thanks for the prompt answer
I think my concern would be if you wanted to do a longer cook and wanted to add charcoal would the ash build up in the bottom of the hopper prevent that? Would you have to empty it and start a new fire?
Hey Tommy, another great video, would love to know how long a full basket of coals last, would love to see comparison between B&B Briquetts and kingsford, I only use B&B, better taste cleaner burning, hey B&B maybe you should sponser Tommy, he's growing faster than anyone else I've seen, he's also a friend of Tom Horsman, can't wait to see cooks on this
So, this doesn’t look so good for long burns. Seems the ash bucket was proper filled after that first load at 4 hours. Trying to do a longer burn seems painful. Mentally and physically if you have to grab the full bin and pull out.
Looks like a nice little pit. I'm interested in it so looking forward to seeing some cooks on it. Would be perfect for when I go to my buddy's house to cook. Hate cooking on his gas grill, this looks like it would work perfect. Thanks Tommy!
Excellent review. I watched this and made the decision to pick one up. Sadly I didn’t use the link because I have some refund credits at Lowe’s I needed to use. Spent the whole day burning and seasoning mine. It’s just as good as you say. 👍🏽
Bought the 1050. Expensive junk. Fails on me every time. No issues with the switches or warping, just the controller deciding not to work when it doesn’t. Disappointed the few grilling sessions I had during a gathering. Getting a simple dynaglo portable charcoal. Yup down graded a lot. Or upgraded actually.
This is perfect Tommy when you're living in a VAN, down by the RIVER
Haha... You got that right!!!!! Cheers man!

Interesting grill...
