Welcome to the family Tom. I think you'll enjoy the innovation of this pit!! Cheers!
Thanks Tommy! It’s pretty cool!
Thank you so much for a detail analysis of this unit
Thanks for Watching Jake!
Very interesting little unit.
I about fell out my chair when you lifted the firebox! Real innovation there...
Thanks for Watching Dana!
Tom, you were so right! Last night, I got it assembled. First time putting it up, the grill locked so it was only about 3 feet off the ground. I thought, it was lower then I thought, went back to this video, and lifted it up higher, and we had it. Lol definitely takes some getting use to.
I mean about 2.5 feet tall the first time lol
Thanks for watching! Glad you got it figured out
Great review! Thanks Tom. Happy Easter buddy!
Happy Easter! Thanks for Watching
Looks like a nice unit that would be great for camping, tailgating, picnics.
Thanks for Watching Adam!
Great video Tom. I have heard the park across the street will have stations that permit charcoal grilling. After they reopen I will check out some portable grills.
Thanks for Watching Guy!
Looks like a nice portable grill. I am envious of all the charcoal you have stashed.
Thanks for Watching Ralph!
Looking forward to seeing what that think can do. Thanks Tom!
Thanks for watching! Me too!
Great review Tom , looks like a great addition for camping 👌👌
Thanks for Watching! Yes it would be!
Hey Tom, love the channel! You can quickly figure out if you're dealing with stainless steel by holding a magnet to it. Stainless steel is either non magnet or slightly magnetic depending on the alloy, but not nearly as magnetic as regular steel.
Thanks for watching! Good tip, Thanks
Good video. For the cooking space available I'll take the Weber Go Anywhere any day. I wouldn't call over 50 lbs portable and that thing seems pretty difficult to work with. Nice review as always, I look forward to seeing what you can cook on it and how long it will go on a full load of charcoal. Cheers!
Thanks for Watching!
Hey Tom seems a little speedy for what you get. My first pellet smoker was just a little bit over 300 dollars, seems a lot to pay for a small mini grill. Thanks for the upload!
Thanks for Watching Darin! Time will tell…..
Happy Easter Tom!
Thanks for Watching Bill! Happy Easter
Tom... by chance have you used the lousiana bl300 tabletop pellet smoker? I'm vasolating between that or this smoker. Thanks for your reviews
Thanks for Watching! I have not tried the Bl300
Man that is neat, good observation on the diffuser gap. Can run off batteries? That's awesome! I was wondering if you could use it without plugging it in.
Thanks for Watching!
I bet some GrillGrates would be an awesome addition to that.👍
Thanks for watching! Yes they would
Excellent review Tom. I'm kind of on the fence on this one. Waiting to see you use it. Grills are becoming so complex. Do these companies care about the food? As you said...time will tell. Take care Bud!
Thanks for watching! You are correct Rob
NIce, you got it quickly. I have to and will wait. Transport costs to get it to the Netherlands are me to high right now. And I am very curious what you think about this grill.
Thanks for watching! More to come
I am looking at a masterbilt 800 with a rotisserie and griddle, I have a weber 22 inch . Would it be as good to get the venom blower, the diffuser charcoal ring with the rotisserie/pizza attachment for the weber? I really enjoy my weber
Thanks for Watching Bill! It’s up you Bill, they both will perform well. You would have more smoking / grilling space on the 800
ya,,, it's nice,,, but not for me... great video Tom!!! I just today bought the Char Griller 980,,, your videos helped me make my decision... 👍👍👍
Thanks for Watching! Congrats on the 980!
Interesting...... I'm looking forward to the first cook.
Thanks for watching Ted! Me too!
Keep up your great videos Tom! But your going to need a bigger garage. Lol
Thanks for Watching Jim! You are correct!
Great review! Any chance you can link us that adapter you have with the portable charger and cable?
Thanks for watching! ua-cam.com/video/jk5L6yszpMg/v-deo.html
@@TomHorsmanAmateurBBQ Tom I was more interested in the cable that you used to plug up to the masterbuilt but the video you shared is good too.
Have you measured the height with the cart collapsed? Curious if it will fit in the bed of a pick up with the bed cover closed
Thanks for Watching! It will fit
Is it possible to get a rotisserie attached to this or is it too small? Thank you for the review
Thanks for watching Steve! To small for a rotisserie
Tom I found some grill grates that are 17.37 long. Will they fit the grill? Thanks!
Thanks for Watching! As long as it’s 11” in width, yes it will
Has the heat tube held up over your cooks without rusting?
Thanks for Watching Mike! Yes
Wouaw 👏🏼👏🏼
Thanks for Watching!
I wished it stood on its side like the Weber traveler. I have a Oklahoma Joe’s rambler, and can do without the cast iron care. Tight on space so being able to stand on its side is huge for me.
Thanks for watching! It does not stand on its own
@@TomHorsmanAmateurBBQ thank you, sir!
Hey mate can you do lownslow on these ?
Thanks for Watching! Yes
Should have watched this video before the chicken leg video…. LOL. I now see you cannot dump ash during a cook. Oh well. Still an interesting set up. Thanks again
Thanks for Watching Phillip!
I need your suggestion, I am looking a grill that will give one that Chargrill Taste, Like at Burger King ( Don’t beat me up but you get the point )
Thanks for Watching! Lol, more about the meat than the grill, but any gas grill will got hot enough to sear to Burger King standards
@@TomHorsmanAmateurBBQ it’s the taste for me that I want to duplicate
Where’s the links for the adapter? Not showing up in the description.
Thanks for Watching Conny! Which adapter are you referring to?
@@TomHorsmanAmateurBBQ
The one to use any usb powered power bank. Description says here’s Amazon links but there’s nothing under that sentence.
Yup, here you go…www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07J6NYVJV/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=A3M3YMPQTI06AD&psc=1
And the battery….www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08P428WK5/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=AHAY6P6OHYOVB&psc=1
How many people when they dump their ashes will also dump the grate/starter holder and possibly not realize it. At home it’s one thing, but traveling or tailgating at an event you might not realize it’s gone till it’s too late???
Thanks for Watching! Good point! Thanks for the feedback
Is it better that ninja woodfire ?
Thanks for watching! It’s not an apples to apples comparison
Good day. Sharing my support I'm a new friend here now. See you at my home. Wishing you success and more additional true friends to come. God bless us always.
Thanks for watching!
Good video. Seems unnecessary for a portable grill. Just get a Weber go anywhere or joe
Thanks for Watching Brady!
Honest review…..you didn’t cook anything
Thanks for watching! Ran out of time. I will burn in and cook on it soon
